I liked Snyder Superman & especially Henry's portrayal. Dark Pheonix was a stupid idea from the get go. A remake by the guy that ruined the source material the 1st time around, what could possibly go wrong? The cardinal sin however was to soon. We barely got to know Jean in this time line. We needed a few movies as Jean Grey and a couple more as Pheonix before even considering this again. Look at Logan, that hit hard because we had been with the guy 18 years.
"For the die-hard fans who saw Superman as the embodiment of morality and justice... [killing Zod] felt like a step too far." Real die-hard fans would know he did it in the comics long before he did it on screen. Besides, killing a killer seems like justice to me.
I didn't have a problem with him k*lling Zod, he should have done that, I had a problem with probably killing so many people in the city, by not taking the fight elsewhere, away from people. A superhero, that didn't really care that much to protect people, and I also blame Jonathan Kent, for raising him to be like this. The worse Jonathan Kent in all versions of Superman.
Of course someone that doesn't like Twilight would see it that way. smh The books were so much better than the movies anyway. Though Breaking Dawn was the closest to getting it right, but Edward was never done like the books.
