I think it’s more meant to mean that his content is easily digestible and understandable for your average consumer, rather than him being an average consumer himself. I think it would be quite difficult for him to run his channel successfully without crazy cool and interesting technology.

The only real accessories you would need: - screen protector - phone case - external battery - good quality charging brick & charging cables The Apple branded ones are a good choice, but they're overall overpriced. I prefer to use Otterbox for my screen protector & case, and Anker for charging related things. I also would advise against using Fast Charge, Mag Safe, or wireless charging as they (from what I understand) deplete the battery's life quicker than normal cable charging.

The whole battery degradation argument is kinda crap. My iPhone 12 has 93% battery health after a year of only “slow” 9W cable charging, while there are plenty of other people on the internet using magsafe only with better percentages Totally agree on the rest of the comment though. Those are the only accessories really needed.

3:33 Beware of “MagSafe” chargers. Most just use the magnet and slow charge at 7.5 watts. Make sure you’re getting that real 15 watt MagSafe charge. “Magsafe compatible” most times just means it will stick to the back of your phone. Always read the fine print 😉

@@gilley6730 Belkin 3-1 or 2-1 ( if you dont have apple watch) Magsafe charger. They are sold at the offical Apple website and I got both of them and love it

@@s1lent51 Thanks, I picked up the Pitaka Air Omni when it was on Kickstarter but its so bulky and with my 12 Pro last year the Qi charger would make it overheat and not charge. So haven’t been using it lately on the 13 Pro Max I picked up.

@@gilley6730 I’m using the Belkin 3 in 1. It has the 15 watt charge. It is expensive but compared to buying 3 separate chargers, a cable and then a brick it’s actually cheaper. I think they also have a 2 in 1 which is cheaper of course.

Bro just a friendly FYI that the iPhone 13 Pros have 27W fast charging, not 20W. I know it’s not the biggest difference but it does matter. A lot of people complain that iPhone doesn’t have fast charging but I think it’s better that Apple is prioritizing longer term battery health here. It would be great if it went up to 60W but I still don’t think it’s that bad.

@@Maliw every modern smartphone controlls how much juice it gets from charging. macbook chargers are totally ok to charge your iPhone with.

@@christianschulze6232 as someone who switched to iPhone a month ago after using android, the user interfaces are amazing, the customisation options are easy to use, and the performs and camera are incredible. I had a Samsung a71 before hand and it felt so slow compared to the iPhone 13 I have now

@@scirvy as I have 6 month of experience within the new „world“ I have to say there are a lot of advantages and to make it quick - I do not regret anything. Sometimes it still feels odd as standard stuff like switching your ring tone to anything you want is more complicated. But in total, the performance, camera and the update strategy - probably never going back!

*On a side note* The Apple Magsafe Power Bank does have 1400mAh but at double the voltage, which actually brings it up to almost 3000mAh, definitely still smaller in capacity, but not terribly lower and considering it's also generally smaller. Still doesn't warrant the excessively high price

yeah companys should just show Wh capacity instead of mAh. some people think macbooks have lower capacity batterys than iPads , but they just have a lower mAh number but a much higher Wh number.

Because they are not MagSafe certified. That charger at the beginning is not it. Just a magnet. There is no MagSafe animation
