To add/clarify a little more to the keyboard shortcuts... You can toggle between full screen and exit full screen with just the F key. You don't need to use the separate Esc key to exit. You don't need to use the Shift key for rewind and fast forward. The left and right arrow keys work by themselves. The Space Bar will also toggle between play and pause. Again, you don't need to use the separate Page Up and Page Down keys.
Me too. It's like giving someone a great piece of tech that should come with some basic accessories JUST TO MAKE IT FUNCTION but doesn't because it's a BIG SECRET. NETFLIX is infuriating. And how do you keep your kids from just switching profiles from pin protected content to the "master" profile so they will be able to watch what they want or even change account settings?
Thank you for Number 2! My little sister added a load of annoying stuff that she knows I don't like to my "continue watching" to piss me off and the "viewing history" tab sorted it :)
I wish there was a way to search the sub categories on your tv. On my laptop I can add the code to the end of the site but I want to be able to search them on my tv
Okay, I need to get to that bitrate menu, except I have a Mac and there is no Alt key so I cannot depress CTL-ALT-SHIFT. What can I do to bring up the bitrate menu with a Mac keyboard? Also, are these instructions for when you watch Netflix on your computer? How can I reset the bitrate menu if I'm watching Netflix on my TV Screen?
Two things I found using my Roku remote * key (options): (1) Click choose "Night Listening" to lower loud noises such as explosions. (2) General volume: Options > "Accessibility" > Volume.
I wish there was a trick/hack to get english dubbed animes...waiting 2 frekking years for me to just follow up on what anyone said in ATTACK ON TITAN is just too much. Why can't we get them at the sametime the anime first comes on??
One thing bugs me about Netflix. If the movie is not in english, then why is the description in english? Its understandable if there are english subtitles, but when there is no option for reading english subtitles, but the movie description is english on a movie in a different language, its just a waste of time altogether. It feels like false advertising. Ok, two things. Eons ago, before netflix decided to change features that I enjoyed, there was an option to set a queue. I loved that feature. There was also a list format so you didnt have to see an icon for everything. It made searching for a specific title MUCH easier. Maybe Im just weird, but I liked that format. While change is good, it's not always better.
how can I watch Netflix using a VPN? Netflix blocks me if I use a VPN, for ex., when out and public wifi is available for my tablet. The same is true for Hulu and Disney Plus.
Helo dude's , I watch Netflix on TV and the subtitle is always on because I'm east European and english is my second language . Most of the time this subtitle doesn't translate very accurate but is not o big problem . The big problem is when I can barely see a white lane and it goes so fast , in a BLINK of an aye . How can I slow down this subtitle ... Thanks .
I am here to find out how to keep my grandchildren from changing from THEIR netflix profile to using MY profile. it seems silly to have parental controls if they can just change to the master profile. What the heck? I cannot find any way to prevent this! 🤔
Great video. I have been using some of the keyboard shortcuts and appreciate the full list. Do you think there will be standardized keyboard shortcuts industry wide for websites that provide streaming video content? Amazon has shortcuts but most sites don't. I watch shows almost exclusively on my laptop and it is really frustrating that most sites do not have keyboard shortcut capability.
There will probably be no industry standard. There should be. According to Netflix statistics 42% of all views are either laptop or desktop. So these shortcuts will at least help those people and you. :)
can someone tell me if i have only one screen can i watch netflix on my tv and mobile at different times??? i mean can i login into 2 different devices
Ok. I know about profiles, but I did a double take on the profile names on the vid. What are the odds? My own name is in the same spot on my account. Surprised me with that detail.
Just looked at the nowstreamingpod site to see if any of the shows or movies in my queue are expiring soon, and it looks like the last netflix list entries were a year ago.
Hi, we used to watch Netflix on our android tv box but now get a 0013 error message after a minute or so of playing. When I contacted Netflix they said the box is incompatible with Netflix. Do you have any tricks or suggestion to remedy this.
Calm down Antoni Tescaro, Netflix isn't going under from a few people committing fraud to stream free Netflix, in fact they factor shit like that into their annual estimates. So perhaps rather than plotting on how your going to steal from SeRbUs to get even with the world on Netflix's behalf, you should ask yourself what the hell is going on with SeRbUs that he deems it necessary to steal from an online streaming service valued at $10.00 a month? If poverty has you broke enough that you deem it prudent to steal something that costs approximately $0.33 a day than get your hustle on, dude, sounds like you could use a movie to take your mind off fucking starving to death...
Don't know of anything that will do that. On Roku, they have the Roku Feed where you get notified when a specific program becomes available on one of its apps including Netflix, Hulu, and others.
Another tip, don't use Chrome for Netflix, use Microsoft Edge or Safari, Chrome usually never have 1080p, but ME and Safari does. ME and Safari usually always have better HD than Chrome. If you don't believe me, hold "ctrl+shift+D" and check the resolution on Chrome, then on ME
KreedFilms Must the the only thing you can do in ME or Safari better than Chrome. Don't like either. Bedides, you can change the resolution in Chrome if you want to view in higher resolution.
Yes, im using the windows 10 netflix app, because higher video and audio bitrate + 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. But the browser version UI looks much better than the windows 10 app
That last site stream'em and leave'em isn't up to date. Just thought I'd look out of curiosity and the latest post was about a year ago. Nice to include in your video but it's pretty pointless if it isn't up to date.
If you are into Anime. There are 9 subcategories within Netflix which you can access with the chrome extension. Just add the programs to "My List" in Netflix on your computer and watch them on your Roku.
Would it kill Netflix to send a monthly email listing what is coming to and leaving the service to their customers?Seems shady/sneaky and deliberate to me that they don't.
Not 100% useless. I watch on my PS3 or Apple TV also, but some of the websites mentioned were really helpful! Many people don't know that they can create multiple profiles. I, myself, didn't know removing something from your viewing history takes away it's recommendation. Netflix' recommendation engine is so good, I rarely watch something I don't like, but it's good to know if I do, I can remove it.
It’s a useless thing to delete content you didn’t like because it’s genre that gets affected. You may of hated a particular science fiction film, doesn’t mean you hate all science fiction films. I mean, this is basic. No thought has gone into this ramble that’s designed for stupid people
I'm ready to drop Netflix. Don't waste money on the DVD's and their live-stream is all garbage. YEARS after a hit is released, they finally stream it. Jurassic Park was out 24 years ago at the theaters, out on DVD for decades, on television a hundred times but wait! You can subscribe to Netflix and watch it now. Come on.
None of these "tips" help get better movies instead of obscure and lame Spanish or German horror films; or how to get horror films that aren't yet another zombie cannibals or some kid getting possessed by some demon; how to automatically skip over those broing Bollywood films that are Netfilx idea of "classic foreign films;" and how to understand the difference between "Supernatural Horror Films," "Dark Supernatural Movies," "Ghost Horror Movies;" or "Recent Arrivals," and "Current Offerings." Wait. I'm just going over to Hulu a while.
I supported Netflix for years until they ditched the rating system to stroke the egos of SJW cucks that didn't like Amy Shumer and shitty Adam Sandler flicks. You want a good Netflix tip now? Switch to Kodi/Exodus.
TechGumbo Obviously somewhat subjective; I think that's changed over the last year or so. I used to go to Netflix for all my movie needs, but now I watch about 75 percent of my movies on Hulu. Hulu has a better selection of movies. I'm about 50/50 on Tv shows, but it used to be about 95 % Netflix.
