Sneha Didi, I am currently reading Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston and the second Pages and Co book, Tilly and the Lost Fairytales by Anna James. I have been working on a few chapters of my historical fiction novel as I research the Edwardian Period and further develop the characters and plot. As neurodivergent hypersensitive person, I am highly sensitive in a world that is loud and often too strong. I hope to read The Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine Aron. I am excited to read Matt Haig’s magical realism novel, The Midnight Library and his nonfiction book, Reasons to Stay Alive. The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank is one of my favorite books and I relate to Anne’s writing style. Reading Anne Frank’s diary comforted me as I read about a girl the same age as me escaping the horrors of the Holocaust through preserving a sense of love and light. Last year for my summer reading assignments, I read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. This year, I endeavor to read The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri and Emma by Jane Austen. I love you

Being a huge nonfiction lover myself I thought I won't get anything new. Great recommendations and some new books I got to put on my TBR. I only disagree with The Power of Now book. I read the book and I don't feel it's a good start for beginner nonfiction readers. Just my opinion.
