Brother, thank you for this list. I just did an inventory of my games for all my systems and I have 9 of the 10 games that you've talked about. The missing game is IllBleed and that because I never heard of this game. Other than that, I have a small fortune in games fir my systems so it looks like I will never retire from gaming. Plus it's a lot of fun.
RetroFighter StrickerDC Wireless Controller comes out in November for those that chose to preorder it. Which I personally did. Looks like nice controller. I know that has nothing to do with the video but wanted to talk about it since others might be interested in it in the future even if they missed the preorder opportunity.
Thats why I just bought a modded Dreamcast with the GDEMU Dream PSU and Nocta fan LED lights with the 512 MB SD card with all the games. I can't wait to play everything I miss out on. When I had the Dreamcast in 1999
Cannon spike is a fun game. I found out about it long time ago by accident when I bought and didn’t know what I got but I’m glad I have it to this day.
Honestly I don’t ever see Dreamcast prices really going down. It’s such an awesome system and it does deserve a revival of some sorts. Now that sega is reviving some IPs they may give a a mini Dreamcast so keep hope alive!!!
a mini Dreamcast has not been released so far for the simple reason that it would cost too much on the shelves. SEGA would not be able to sell it under 150$, unless they replaced the DC emulation of the games with their PC ports. We need to wait.
@@JAGtheTrekkieGEMINI1701 you cannot get quality M2 emulation and a good selection of Dreamcast games for cheap at the moment. Adam Koralik, a RU-vidr working for SEGA, has mentioned this in one of his discussion videos. A Master System mini would be instead doable.
I believe most expensive Dreamcast game is MoHo (PAL). That's around $500. These also go over $150 if on great condition: REZ (PAL) Evil Twin (PAL) Bangai-O (USA) Carrier (PAL) D2 (USA) Shenmue 2 (PAL)
Thanks man I appreciate the love and blessed to know people enjoy the content. I wanna keep doing more of these and help people remember the childhood memories we made 😃
Nice video, I have a few of these is my collection as well. But kinda know now what I wish I knew then, I would've just bought everything I could've when it was reasonably priced.
Bro trust me I wish I had the knowledge back then about some games nowadays. To think these games gone up in price like they have. I have them all and I got them for good prices before they skyrocketed. Hopefully more remasters come in the future.
Pointless to buy the more expensive games BRAND NEW. I would also suggest buying used over New if there's a ridiculous 200 dollar price gap. Just make sure the USED copy is a good quality disc like new or at least little to no scratching. Depending on the Dreamcast revision model some mild scratches could cause it go back to the menu. I know my model 0 struggles to read certain discs I don't believe it should but my model or revision 1 White and Black Sports Edition will play Rayman 2 Dreamcast without any problems. There's a bunch of other great Dreamcast games not listed in this video but I know you were only talking about the top 10 expensive Dreamcast games. Other titles such as D2, Spawn in the Demons Hand, Sword of the Berserk, Heavy Metal, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil Code Veronica are great games to have in the collection. I think Code Veronica usually goes for the cheaper price tag 30-40 range on ebay for a used copy. Might be able to find it cheaper in 20 range too.
Oh absolutely and all the great games you just mentioned are really awesome. I’m going to be doing more of these in the future, but I just wanted to cover some of the most expensive ones buying them sealed nowadays to me is pointless unless you just want to keep your game sealed for resale value the Dreamcast was such a beautiful piece of hardware.
Thank you for making this video, i do own quite a few game consoles, but dreamcast is my favourite one. Many unique and great games developed for this console.
Dreamcast will always be one of my favorite consoles. The games still to this very day hold up well on looks and feels. I appreciate and happy you enjoyed the video
I randomly picked up the NTSC version of Illbleed many years ago for 11 Canadian dollars and imported into the UK, it was clearance stock. I never played it so it’s still sealed. I should have bought ten copies but who knew it’d be a rarity many years later.
Nowadays with everything happening in the gaming world emulators will be used sooo much more. I like the original or remakes but its gonna get difficult to possess games if things keep getting delisted or expensive.
I own everyone of these except Giga Wings of which I also need to get the sequel and all of the post U.S. end of the console games that have released since 2001.
@@GameKingdom504 ill take more unreleased games than a mini dreamcast is perfect . Have my hold up to this day. And still play games and watch movies vcd of course.
Hard to justify how the first Power Stone can cost $155. It was a launch title, there are plenty of copies around, it is everything but rare. This year I found it in Japan, in great condition, for less than 3000 Yen. The same could be said about Sonic Adventure 2. Both games should sell at half the price or less. Scalpers have killed retrogaming.
It was on the Dreamcast and I didn’t realize I said years and I meant a year later. Scatterbrained on fixing that lol. Thanks for the feedback and glad to hear you enjoyed the video.
Nice list, I have a few of them in my collection. I definitely thought some of the more obscure titles would be on this list, like Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicle, or Alien Front Online (just because it came with the microphone).
