If you don't have experience in the field to actually show us the Results. Why even say it! At least show us what your friend is making! Bro now we don’t know what to expect!
Just turned 17 and I’m struggling to find part time jobs due to my age, where I live and the fact that I’m a full time student, which is irritating since my mum is struggling financially and all I want to do is help! The work experience is just a bonus. Thank you for the video this really helped!
Online jobs are easier for me because my IQ is low and my brain takes a while to process things. Even if it's a simple job like Burger King. I can't work in-person. My anxiety will eat me alive.
Excellent list! Super valuable for those starting out. I'd recommend for people who are looking into virtual assistant jobs to pick a specialty. This way they can differentiate and be able to charge more. Keep it up!
Actually a really helpful video; as a full time college student, trying to juggle work with school is a bitch just due to scheduling issues, so being able to work from home sounds fantastic.
As a teenager with a dream,I would love to say I’d be down to work for anybody with a very low income,it’s just to learn more about how the system works.
If you wanna know "how the system works" working for a poor guy would be the stupidest choice you can make. They themselves don't know how the system works which is the reason they are poor. Work for a rich guy , he'll pay you more and (if you're lucky enough) teach you how the system works
"What we really want to do is what we are really meant to do. When we do what we are meant to do, money comes to us, doors open for us, we feel useful, and the work we do feels like play to us." -- Julia Cameron
i am 17 years old , i once went to a interview they asked all sort of questions after reading my resume , however the one thing that they missed was my age , after they came to know that im 17 , they rejected me LOL
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Business opportunities are like buses, there’s always another one coming.
Barbara Insanely high inflation has made it not just a good idea to have a side income, but necessary! Entrepreneurship is an option. Would you be open to a 1099 income along side your W2 income? - Timothy.
Actually works. I got hired yesterday by a foreign firm to transcripe stuff in my native launguage. Took me like an hour from signing up till I were hired
14 and looking for a job as my single mother is struggling financially... I'm from Pakistan and have some experience in social media management as well as marketing. I can do graphic designing pretty well and sure will try that. Thanks for the guidance, bless you
Thank you, you are amazing!! I just started learning how to code so I can do web design, i never heard of upwork until now, this gave me more motivation to make this happen and learn as much as i can, thank you for all your awesome videos!!

@@mohjalk if you’re starting out you’ll have to lowball. Arabic is a hard language but there are plenty of pros out there already who clients are more inclined to trust. Build a client base and rapport to show you’re professional and trustworthy and then charge more. If you’re a beginner it’s kind of common sense you don’t really have the stuff to charge more than literal entry-level pay. Entry level pay for entry level job
Great content. Was once a student myself and I wish someone gave me the same tip I'm about to give you. Jobs are great but don't miss out on INVESTMENTS.
I m 15 yrs old a junior high school student i don't wanna depend on my parents for everything my parents also go through a lot in this pandemic i have alot of dreams about my future so just wanna work on it just one step more toward my dreams 😅
I’m 19 working in a warehouse it’s not too bad I get 13$ hour, the supervisor and manager like me they know I’m hardworking but I want to work hard for myself and not for others, I think I’m really creative with a good sense of self awareness I also don’t want my classes to go to waste, I don’t use social media but I wanted to do some things with my art and start using the cámara that I bought to make short films but idk.. I lack discipline and procrastinate way too often even tho I know my weakness I fail at being consistent and taking the initiative
The best thing to do is to go for really basic jobs, make your cover letter as appealing as possible, and getting a portfolio up. I was applying for developer positions, and I kept getting rejected. Once I started making projects on my own, such as discord bots, and putting them on my portfolio, i got my first job! Do not underestimate the value of a completed profile, it boosts your chances of getting hired by a lot! p.s take the Upwork readiness test
Hello everyone, I will be 17 in 2 days and I want to be financially free, I know my family loves me, they do everything they can for me, but I don't want to be a burden to them, so I am looking for an online job that I can do after school. I am currently learning programming, I know python and html at a certain level and I am working to develop it further. And I believe that I will be successful. By the way, the video is very good, thanks :)
I learnt data entry in high school and got a very good grade in the subject, but after a year I lost almost all knowledge about things like simple calculations in Excel, because I stopped studying and didn't expect that I'd actually use the skill
I am 19 years old and I’m currently taking a gap year from my college- one that i didn’t want to attend- I am actively working retail at the moment and i really want to look for a job that i can do from home. I am interested in languages as i am self studying Korean and many more soon. So i hope this video helps
Hey arva I really need your help on this Which one in your opinion is the most convenient and good I dont care even if I get 1$ per hour But I want to earn by working pls help
Im 15 and got my first job on upwork the day I signed up. I got 40 dollars. From which I only ended up getting about 2 bucks because of upworks ridiculous fees. But after finishing it it asked to verify my id. Which you cant lie about. They ended up freezing my account and I cant even cash in my money.
*Thanks* 🤩 *for your kind efforts* *But you know what almost all* *fields you mentioned aren't easy to start with* *The competition is so ruthless I have tried to be an SMM social media manager/marketer even I have a lot of skills and I have a bunch of certificates but nobody care or call for even an interview I have sent more than 50 CV* *The same with data entry I feel like things aren't that easy to get a job in as people think of course they require experience at least 2 years it's rare to find some without it.* *Anyway thanx* 🤗
I am already somewhat knowledgeable in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Python. I suppose my point of entry for web development is different than someone who still needs to use tools like Wordpress, but I don't know how to insert myself in the market.
im gonna be 16 in a month which means ill be able to get a credit card and work, the minimum wage in my country is no joke, 1.5 dollars an hour, so a 15 dollar an hour job is gonna be insane
Maybe you could borrow one from your friends, neighbours, or your family. After you can buy a laptop from your own money. At least, you should give a return for them. To show respect and sympathy 😅
Hey guys! If you want Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere (what I use to edit videos), or Adobe XD (for UI/UX design), they're all included with Adobe Creative Cloud. Buy Adobe Creative Cloud here ⇢ arvabelle.com/adobe
I'm 15 and learning to have better grammar skills so I can try and become a freelance writer. Hopefully If I get good enough with this I can make a good living for myslef.😊
I'm good at writing and a particular famous company made me work for free. My services and writing deserve way more. Gonna make a freelance profile. Thank you 💗
I tried getting some jobs on Upwork, 2 of my first clients asked me to give like a registration fee or security fee which was 30-70$, it really looked like a scam and they behaved weird, so I just canceled them, did I do right? is it possible that they can just take those 70$ and block me.
I love the freelance writer idea! I'm quite a good writer myself and i allways know how to use words to express what's required to be comunicated. How can i find an employer?
It's not just by being bilingual one can be translator or interpreter as most people think, translators must be bi-lingual and bi-cultural to be totally able to convey a Holly language background and even feeling to a speaker of other language and culture. In terms of using Google Translate , it's not working properly nor accurately with Arabic due to having many forms of a single word and 12000,000 vocabulary.
HR: "What is your salary expectation" Candidate: $10k to $12k a month. HR: You are the best fit for the role but I'm afraid we can't afford you. Candidate: Okay $4k would be fine. HR: How soon can you start? Meanwhile, the budget for the particular role is $10k . HR feels like they did a great job in salary negotiation and management will be happy they cut costs for the organization. The new employee starts and notices the pay disparity. Guess what happens? Dissatisfaction. Disengagement. Disloyalty. Two months later, the employee leaves the organization for a better job. The recruitment process starts all over again. This leads to further costs and performance gaps within the team and organization. In order to attract and retain top talent. "PLEASE PAY PEOPLE WHAT THEY ARE WORK FOR"
That’s so cool. I wish my parents would have tried to get me language lessons. All I can do is read a bit of French since I took a few years in school.
@@jcbanbury no actually I am fluent in more than 5 languages because in India there are a lot of language I have a bit knowledge of about 16 languages. And that's it .

Been on upwork for 5 years and I have never seen clients pay $12-20 for data entry 👀..they pay between $3-5 standard per hour and a lot of them have a preference for freelancers from one specific country. There are exceptions though, so try your luck!
you know what, UpWork is great, but its really difficult to get a job over the competition with everyone finally ending up with no job. So rather the rate that we are getting paid with, it is almost not possible for me to get any task over UpWork. Can you pleae give a solution for that question?
Something that I did this school year in highschool, if you're doing modules instead of online classes, try to sell your answers to your classmates (that you can trust), you can also ask your friends who already finished to give you answers, either as a favor or a cut in the profit made... - just a 15 year old hustler
@@coldbloodedassassin2 yeah, I honestly regret it now considering how low our average iq is, not like it can get any worse with me giving something high in demand at my school so they can continue playing mobile games, I just took advantage of the situation. I stopped it now though, now I'm just doing academic commissions via twitter
I'm 16 and its harder for me since I cant get a job in my country, no opportunities for Youth here, and i cant get online international jobs, just wanna earn $500 us dollars tbh, plus my grades are messed up and I just want to make my mom happy, sucks
I live in a 3rd world country I have a plan to get a virtual job in California USA which their minimum wage is $10-15 per hour, this video is really helpful.
