What I dislike about Jack White, is that he thinks struggle is something you “create” for yourself. His definition of struggle is superficial, and more importantly, artificial. Struggle is something that finds you. If your life is so easy, that you have to create obstacles and rules for yourself; then you don’t really understand what it means to struggle at all.

#9 and 10 reminds me a bit of some words of wisdom from Brian May about songs being stories. He said that every song is a unique story and that his best stories rarely repeat themselves. While on that journey for 3 and a half minutes, he doesnt like the story to repeat ever and feels that the story should progress naturally to its conclusion, otherwise, maybe the story isnt that good and shouldnt be told. Im paraphrasing here but thats the basic point
