I'm 37 and if there's one thing I'd tell my younger self on her first day at work is make sure you put aside something small every month. Imagine how far I'd be about 17yrs later if I'd started building emergency fund from day 1. Haidhuru. Once you know better, you do better
Wow! As a 57 year old I am listening to this wise 30 year old😍. I have an opportunity next week Tuesday to speak to an American company (I'm in South Africa) to convince them to spend money (Dollars!!!!!) on advertising their product (that I sell) here in South Africa. Mindset is so important. I am fairly comfortable financially so i have to convince myself to do this.

I think we can never really learn enough. It's been about 5 years since I started budgeting/tracking my expanses at 28 (I saw a friend do it, I got curious and for the next few years, I just tracked my expenses before I learnt about budgeting) and this year I have started to see the fruits of my hard work. For starters, my emergency savings literally "saved" me this year. I always had extra savings (that's how I was raised). However, allocating a name for each dollar has made my financial management so much easier.

To manage your time when you are in business you need to invest in systems. Create business systems and you will navigate through business easily. I am in business too for 4 years now, it was like that in the begining till I came up with business systems.
