Oh my gosh, just that first tip. I had no idea, and you probably just improved my workflow by endless hours. Thank you! One of the best channels out there.
Pancake Timeline Upgrade. Open the timeline in the source monitor. From the wrench menu, select "open sequence in timeline" Now you can create in and out points and drop them into your working timeline. No dragging needed!
I hate "selection follows playhead" so much that i even disabled it in the debug console of premiere pro lol..but honestly i didn't know some of these tips and i'm 100% going to try and add them to my workflow
@@lilafromyoutube too many times i found myself editing clips that were just fine, and generally for my style of editing/working the timeline it slowed me down a lot. I had to hard disable it, if you disable it on the toolbar's menu it will re-enable itself as soon as you open the Lumetri tab. feeling kind of a boomer but it is what it is lol
I noticed that your UI in Premiere is a bit darker than default, how can I achieve that? (Premiere Pro settings don't allow me to set so dark appearance) 🙂
Can you please explain more about for how to add effect on source videos bcz as beginner it's headache when I cuts all entire video then realised to adjust zoom or transform or any other effects bcz when I try to drag effect on source it's not working nothing showing there
Change the entire font is neat, when I edit a video again, I can sometimes come up with missing fonts. I have almost 1600+ fonts. Occasionally they will stop working, get corrupted or lost, lol.
And I thought I know all about Premiere Pro, now I"m ashamed. Thank you Lila you are so inspiring. This is what Petter Mckinnong get me started to learn more about video editing and you are just making the learning process way easy. Have a nice one
@@lilafromyoutube It was that I can change the font to all the text of the clip. I didn’t knew about this trick before and I needed to change all the font of the text ONE BY ONE.
You almost made me like premiere pro again ( but, I have fallen in love with final cut), but maybe they have these things in fcpx as well😅 nice video though 🤩
Thank you! I used to edit in Vegas Pro but after years of it crashing every few minutes, no matter what, I finally made the change and it's been great. Your videos help to quickly get up to speed with Premier Pro.
I’m so happy to hear the videos are helping. It’s a huge learning curve when you just get started but if you stick to it, you’ll get good at it before you know it 🙌🏻
again thank you, my vids are going from crappy to maybe not as crappy but still crappy but won't be crappy forever, I really appreciate the helpful vids, do you have one on audio mixing? can you mix in premiere or do i have to get another program?
I do the bare minimum when it comes to mixing. 😂😂 but I have a video that explains everything you need to know about editing audio in premiere pro ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6dkgdQOtt4Y.html
@@lilafromyoutube awesome!!!! thank you!! i make music in Amplitube but sometimes it seems like the riffs are different levels, i'll check it out!!! thank you your freaking awesome!!!
Hoi Lila!!
Lila, you’re simply Superrrr Amazing 😻! With your sense of humor you could teach anything. I sometimes wonder how long does it take to make a video like today? You’re THE SAVIOR OF THE PLANET when it comes to Premiere tips and tricks! Wish I found you earlier, but I’m very grateful to each one of your videos. Thank you. My favorite tip .. hmm all … ALL, but the frame size it got me laughing because I didn’t know was an easier way to it, the remix of the music based on the duration of the video clip it’s sooooo cool!!! Thanks again 🙏🤗😻
Aw that’s so sweet! Thanks! The automatic set to frame size setting really is a time saver :) I have an editor who takes care of these kind of videos now - I’d say he spends about a day on it! I used to do about the same
Lila, Holy Moly! Just the first 3 things blew my mind haha I always struggle with the music for a specific spot on my timeline, which like you said, i zoom in until you cannot zoom in anymore and it still didn't work! Now I need to leave and start editing more!
I only knew two of these! And yes... I raised my hand. ✋My favorite new tip... replace fonts. I lied... set to frame size is my favorite! :) Thanks for another great video, Lila!
Hi Lila, I can work soo much better now, thanks! However you missed something… How do I automatically put nested sequences into a bin on creation? Say I have my main sequence in the Sequences bin, I nest something there, and I then need to move that nested sequence into the Sequences bin myself. Is there a way to put it there automatically? Thanks! Keep safe
@@lilafromyoutube Hi... I've been a big fan for many years. Learned a lot from you.... Loved this one: 01:13 how to freeze keyframes on a music track Honestly I feel I may have learned the others simply by following you for so long... Big ♥
Pancake edits forever 🙌 so many great tips here, thanks for sharing!! Idk why I didn't know ripple edit could shorten songs too?? The set to frame size and track keyframes are definitely gonna be my top picks though, they're gonna save me sooo much time and headache!!
