GG, for some reason, also kinda evolved over time that may, therefore, be viewed as a form of sarcasm. This usually said by toxic players whenever they're losing the game or if someone just gets really mad that their team has been feeding the opponents. It's like how in linguistics, there might be words or phrases that have a different meaning in the past, but because of how people in recent years use it, redefined its original meaning into something else.

QOTD: A lot actually because I just recently had interest on video games so jargons like CC, GG, OP had me really curious.

The thing is about the terms, i found that there is one term that people around me and it looks like the whole world have been miss understood for long on moba genre. It's the word "CARRY" Many people I've encountered all over the world refer the word to "the one who carry the team to winning the match" Which basically means the badass of the team. Most of them didn't realize or even knowing that the word CARRY was meant for to describe the following, "a hero/champ who can be no good without CARRYing items" It was originated in dota the mother of all moba, since there are heroes in dota that can still win the game without even a slight boost from powerful items. Hope this opened up some insight...👍

I believe SS means ULT. I haven't ever been on a game that says SS as 'stay safe' . Usually, they just either spam ping the lane or use the term " TH" or "tower hug" . Other much important terms that i prefer wildrifters should know are the words 'shove' 'hold' 'agro' 'lane prio' 'scale' 'snowball' and the classic slow push, fast push and freezing. It would be amazing if they learn those.

In dota there is no jg role..the best thing about dota to make laning phase more on skill and mechanics base..not like depended on gang or who's gang is better wins the game and that jg will have all objectives and even if you try to do yourself you don't have smite...and many more disadvantages

As a jungler main, leashing is actually really helpful, it's not as important as in league, but it could help your jungler clear more camps and still get scuttler

Not just term SS is called "Special Skill" or "Ultimate Skill" in the Philippines instead of "Stay Safe", other words such as "Segway" is also our other word for "Split Push", "Gangbang" (that's not a joke) is our other word for "Gank" and the word "GG" remains its meaning the same but it is always spoken in both positive and negative light - we say it for sportsmanship sake to your allies and opponents alike weather your team wins or looses that match.
