George always manages to give that extra boost in confidence for me personally. I just started going to skate parks recently after watching dozens of the videos here, and things I found terrifying at first have been slowly getting easier. Thanks George!
thank you so much! ive been skating for a year now and only learned the rock n roll so far, even frontside, but not a single trick more on the quarter pipe because i just didn’t know where to start and i also kind of was really scared? but yeah, todays good weather im finally going to start being more ambitious thanks to your video!
Its just funny how much I like you more and more to watch every vid. Its like you really get to know you, just something u should know. Your tutorials are also so nice to watch and to learn by, ur honesty about ur own experience makes it so nice. Keep up the good work mainn.
Came back to skating after 12 year hiatus. Wasn’t really very good before. Your videos helped me learn rock to fakie and fakie tail stall in one day! Thanks!
I am so glad that I was wearing a helmet today cus I was going really fast on a criterion track (bike track made from tar) and I fell straight back and hit my head but lucky I was wearing a helmet!
I learned the rock to fake about 30 minutes ago, today is the first time I've even tried it, took about 30 minutes to be comfortable doing it, I definitely recommend it as a first trick to learn on a half pipe
Still haven’t quite gotten rock to fakie yet, it’s all about commitment though ! Thanks for the video ! Loved it man can’t wait to hit the park and try some of these out tomorrow
Could you do a video of your favorite flat ground tricks? And then maybe do those tricks on some kind of surface? I have to refresh my brain with all the skateboarding terms again. 😋 keep these videos up! It is great to see this content! Always inspired 😊
Really cool video! Gave me more things to try at Middlefield when I go next and also other parks too! I would love to skate with you sometime bro!🤙🏻🤙🏻🛹🛹
Man, was having a conversation with someone and we agreed that the one you call nollie disaster #9 is actually a nollie pivot rock or at least that’s what I’m calling it now - my logic says a disaster involves a pop. But anyways. Awesome video as per usual. Always come back to see what’s next. I’m stuck on axle stalls and fakie tail stall but progressing nicely. Thanks George.
These kind of vidoes are cool. I tried out some of the tricks from the first 5 you did in the last vid but was stopped by rain. The aim was to do all 5 but it is winter after all. I just need to start editing the vid to get it up online.
You should look into trying blunts. You just roll into the coping to where your tail and back wheels lock you in and you get out by lifting your board out by grabbing the nose. It’s pretty tricky at first but it’s super fun
The only quarter I have near me is like 2000 feet tall lol, so im thinking about building a mini ramp in my backyard if I can, I skated my friends and it was super fun and I did all this stuff exept the nollie disaster, but I also did a smith and a ollie and fs 180 off it.
love this so much. i want a rock to fakie so bad! totally comfortable rolling down fakie, and can get my front wheels over on the way up - - its getting them over on the way down that terrifies me and my front leg just freezes up. any suggestions?
I didn’t learn transition skating till I was an adult because we didn’t have skateparks when I was a kid (80’s-90’s). Luckily I’m still built like I was when I was 15 and can handle skating every day, so I lived/skated long enough to enjoy the park revolution.
I’m not going to lie feeble stall came easier than bs axel stall, axel stall made me feel as if I was going to fall forward. Dude in some of those bs nose grinds it looked like you could’ve done bs noseblunt I think you got that!
I suck at vert Dropped in a few days ago rolling in no I can pop out Feel bad rolling out fakie gotta work on it In a few hrs I’ll take my son out and see it can try to tackle a few of your moves. I’m sketchy on speed and heights but the last few days sk8ing I have been trying what I never tried when I was younger.
I got Rock to Fakie in one session. Bailed a few times but also landed it a few as well. Cheers George! Ps. Does it still count if your front trucks just barely make it over the coping? Lol.
