Why did @ChrisVanVliet stop working for AEW? What is Chris Van Vliet's height and weight? Who is his wife? Find out the answers to all this and more in this video.
Maven went on his channel recently and openly admitted to taking steroids, and that one of the referees, someone within WWE suggested he look into it. This is like those guys who get on the class action lawsuits he’ll be blackballed from WWE for that.
@@leir2005 nah. We all know wrestlers did use back then. Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar, Eddie, HHH just to name a few. It's not like Maven did say who they were
I'm pretty sure I read that the channel is a partnership with an existing youtube organisation that helps out with promotion, editing and scripting his videos. He is certainly killing it. Just drawing attention to the fact that theres a team behind there and they are killing it too.
Maven is an effing natural at this. Seeing how he presents himself and communicates and presents information, I have no doubt that he was born to do this, and I can only imagine it is a testament to the kind of teacher he was as well. Been so great seeing his youtube channel explode.
Just speaking as someone who has worked the teacher Maven comes off like the type of person I would have loved to work with in my time in public education because you can tell that he's articulate kind and cares about the people that he's talking to I feel like you would have been one of those teachers who wouldn't hesitate when it came to IEPs when it came to making sure that students felt safe in his classroom but wouldn't take any bulshit either honestly he's kind of what I wish that I could have become when I was a teacher but I just didn't have the tools and to be fair I wasn't even license to be a sub and my district basically said well you have a bachelor's degree so you can teach which is never a good idea
Loved how Mave and Chris made a content with each other. I remember the first interview they had together, I already felt that friendship connection and that was the interview where I felt that Maven can do something different because of how he talks, he is a great charismatic storyteller. And here we are now getting Maven videos. I'm still hoping to see Maven as a heel manager in WWE or maybe AEW. More power to Mave and Chris!
I'm gonna be honest this channel has turned me around on you Maven. I wasn't the biggest fan of yours (as far as watching you on TV) but watching this channel you seem like such a cool, great guy
I think Ric Flair is the only wrestler who wasn't playing a character when wrestling there's probably a lot of wrestlers and ex wrestlers that would surprise us outside of character
I'm honestly really surprised at how relaxed he is with a mic. I didn't get that vibe back in the day. Maybe he was too young. Maybe he didn't get the chance to prove himself enough on that front. Maybe it was a little bit of both. In any case Maven is reinventing himself right now and that's good for him. He is extremely well spoken and has a formidable voice, he definitely could do this for the rest of his life and do just fine. As a matter of fact it looks like he's been doing interviews/podcasts forever, he is super professional. I also like that he is unfiltered in the sense that he is telling things the way he sees them without fear of backlash, and he is also capable of self-criticism which is very rare, especially with public personalities. I hope he never changes!
Maven really needs to make this a continuous show going forward. Maven was made for this and he has the voice and presence of w great interviewer / talk host
Thank you to Chris for doing this video! After you watch this video, check out the interview I did on his channel ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--vhbIAf8u4s.html
Hey Maven I have a question for you if given the chance would you come back to the WWE to make a comeback even if it was at the Royal Rumble or would you go to AEW?
@@casellpeterson7424 I wonder what the crowd reaction would be like these days. Feel like it's a whole new generation of fans now. Still cringe when I think about Bryan Christopher coming back
@@georgecase5908 these new generation of fans most likely wouldn't know who to Maven is unless they look him up yeah I was still pissed about how the fans just completely went silent on Brian Christopher's return that one time I was like what the hell why is everybody being silent everybody should remember the "Too Cool" entrance I would be upset if rikishi came back recognize him
Maven, Your channel has been such a pleasant surprise. VERY! Entertaining and informative. I hope this channel continues to thrive. Ultimately, I hope this leads you to a fruitful future. Much love!
I feel like it's only a matter of time before Hunter comes knocking. You're a great dude, you're charismatic, and I think you'd make a great manager, like MVP.
@@wrestlingwithart Ummm...ever consider that CVV puts on an act in front of the camera _and_ away from the camera? Some fans are called "marks" and "rubes" for a reason.
I’ve said it many times on here - Chris is such a GOOD dude.. I’ve never met him, but sometimes you can just tell about a person.. and Chris is DEFINITELY that guy! Man, I’m so happy for him with his wife and his daughter- he DESERVES ALL the blessings that come his way!
@@ivanvalentin3898 Agreed: I have no time for praising people like CVV. Here are a few questions that Maven should've asked--along with the answers! Maven: "What's your favourite hobby?" CVV: "Shining arse for famous wrestlers!" Maven: "Why don't you answer difficult questions?" CVV: "I never _ask_ them, so I don't recognise them when they're put to me!" Maven: "Who's the one person you don't want to interview?" CVV: "Oh, that Ole guy, for sure! I have a recurring nightmare where Ole asks me who was in the NWA in 1991. I answer with Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella, Ole tells me to quit being so damn dumb, and I wake up in a cold sweat! Wait...did you just ask me a difficult question?" Admit it, what I typed is more entertaining than watching these two chitter chatter like a couple of Valley Girls for a few minutes. The problem isn't Maven, it's CVV. He brings out the worst in Maven.
Hey Maven, I’ve recently introduced my 6 year old son Harvey to the world of pro wrestling. He’s absolutely obsessed with the attitude era. I bought an old PS2 so we could play the original smack down games together. His favourite is ‘SmackDown: shut your mouth’ which we play everyday and he loves playing as you. It’s his birthday next month and we’ve bought him tickets to WWE Sunday stunner in London. He currently has no idea. Just wanted to say that we’re both big fans of you and I’m loving your channel.
I met Chris at Starrcast in 2019 and he was walking around, I stopped and asked for a photo, expecting to have to pay. He just said "let's do it" and took the photo with my son and me. Great guy in real life! I also met Maven about 20 years ago at a house show in Valparaiso, IN. Very humble and friendly guy! Love his channel!
Well, that's because it cost CVV nothing, it was your camera. Plus, you had your son with you. Unlikely he's going to want to drop the Mr Nice Guy act in front of the kid.
Maven's channel DESERVES this blow up. So much good content here instead of just a podcast like video we get. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with those, but Maven has innovative a way to make his content a bit more entertaining considering he's been in the industry for quite some time. Great insight. Keep it up Maven!

Maven seems like such a nice and genuine guy. I wasn't into wrestling during the time he came in, but if they'd have let him shine as himself, I feel like he could have been huge.
Unless you're someone like Andre the Giant, or your daddy runs the territory and books you appropriately (e.g. the Von Erichs), "nice" and "genuine" don't sell tickets in wrestling--and Andre sold even *more* tickets when he was a scoundrel.
It's so weird. This guy can talk and he is captivating and the only thing about his WWE run that I remember is him eliminating the Undertaker in the rumble
Maven i dont have a super flowery clever comment, but i wanted to say i adore your channel so much. You're an amazing host and content creator. some of my earlier pro wrestling memories involve you thank you for being a part of my childhood!
maven has come back out of nowhere and has become 1 of the guys i need to watch and listen to every week, i agree he should be back in wrestling somehow, so confident on the mic, presents himself so well, great talker, someone need to get this guy, manager, commentator, interviewer, he can do it all, maybe a cheeky match now and then, i love maven.
I watch every video of yours to find stuff for news on a website I work for. Wasn't going to get content from this video but I immediately began watching as soon as this came out. There's just a different vibe with this channel. One just has to watch the video everytime you upload one.
WOOHOO!!!!!! Congrats on the 100K Subscribers can’t wait for you to get that silver play button. I’m happy to say that no one deserves it more than someone who is as humble as yourself. I can’t believe how much you have taken to this platform like a fish to water. Pls keep that top tier content coming and as always stay healthy and happy. Congrats again🍾🎊🎉🎈
The meteoric rise of this channel in just 2 months is testament to how great a guy Maven is, we never forgot you buddy, so great to see you still creating content in the wrestling space ❤
I'm watching the other interview now and you are such a watchable and entertaining person. As you say, it's the lack of agenda that means you can just be you and touch subjects that others might have to avoid.
@@BLAKDANGER I wear glasses, and I can see he is a 40 year old man. As a 35 year old who gets mistaken for 20 all the time, I can tell a difference. You need to get your eyes checked bud.
@@marcohavokkhaos if that's you in the pic you deffo don't look young lol, again... Get some glasses! He doesn't look 40 there's loads of people saying it
Awesome interview! I would have thought by now you would be doing analysis on WWE. You are such a natural at this! I have always been a big fan and it is so good to have you back with a YT channel! I love it! Love ya Maven!
I used to remember Maven from that spot with the Undertaker, but now with this youtube channel, you are genuinely entertaining, , puts out a lot of information and is just, fun. Love From India ❤️
Thank you always for the content! Love. The channel! Did not even know. You were a pro wrestler, not even a crazy pro. Wrestler and fan, but love the Entertainment and the channel.
@MavenKHuffman Really great to see you back all these years after the original Tough Enough. Your channel seems to be growing by the thousands every single week. Great to see. I *truly* am rooting for you.
I feel like I’m really discovering you for the first time through your channel, even though I’ve been watching you on TV for years when you were a WWF/E wrestler ! Your content is amazing, thank you for that Sir :)
With regards to that first question, it reminded me of the Eagles. My province brought in The Eagles to perform at a local festival, so you know they were paid good money to be there. You hear all good things about them, and when they got here and found out it was Windsor Newfoundland and not Windsor Ontario, their tone immediately changed. They were rude a-holes who spent most of their time in their trailers. They were signed to do 2 hours and they did a 30 minute set. People won tickets for a meet and greet and that turned into a "No touching, look at camera and take picture, get the hell away from us" kind of moment. Meanwhile, on the opposite end of things, that same festival brought in KISS on a different year, who are known to be a bit hard to handle, but they were the exact opposite here. They were booked for 2 hours, they played 3 1/2 hours. They played 3 hours and it started with freezing rain, and they came back and played "I want to Rock and Roll all Night" during a freezing rain storm. I don't know if it was because Genes wife is from here, but I immediately bought tickets to see them again and both times were amazing.
Your comment matches what I've heard from others: I believe that Ian Anderson (of Jethro Tull) and also the group Gentle Giant have both said that the Eagles were a-holes.
