I’m stuck in lockdown in Sydney Australia and my life has now turned into binge watching these videos…I’m disabled and I haven’t been on any rides since I was 14 my dad used to help me go on rides and he passed away 8 years ago so I love watching these it makes me smile and think of good times with my dad
Aww, I’m sorry for your loss. Maybe you should go to a theme park with a friend who can help you on these! But only if you want to. I hope you’re doing well! 😊
Such a shame... It was really unique... I was living near Vaughan, ON last year. The design reminds me about the Wiegand Sledges from Germany, these are often installed on mountain peaks, like the Wasserkuppe.
I rode the one in Sauble Beach. It felt iffy and dangerous which is why I kept going back and riding it, but I don't recall reading about any mishaps. When they closed that one down I was disappointed. Wish I knew about this one in Peterborough before they shut it down as well.
I subscribed because you said there was a rollercoaster in a church and I yelled out *A CHURCH?!* and then you said *yes a church* ...freaked me out a bit 🤙🏽
Wow I did not expect the #1 to be from the tiny waterpark in my small hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada: a city that not even everyone in Ontario has heard of. Not surprised you didn't mention the city it was in tho lol Cool regardless.
Ya I have rode it and I felt like the cart was going to fly off the tracks. I have only been to Wild Water Wheels a couple times just for the batting cages and go carts. The only thing I like about this park is the advertisement song.
I don't live I Peterborough, but I was born there and lived there for many years. What is the water park called? I may have been there, but if not, it's on my bucket list for when the next time I visit my grandparents there.
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE MAKING TRAVEL PLANS: Pipeline Express is no longer in operation as of 2019. The park could no longer maintain it. Also, the infrared guns on Bandit Bomber reportedly do not function anymore.
Didn't expect Linnanmäki to be here. Tulireki is one of my favorite coasters but i think that salama in Finland at Linnanmäki is one of the smoothest ride that i have ever experienced. Like if you're Finnish
Pipeline express also uses a high tech brake system known as a a plank of wood and a bit of friction, and the the lift is also a friction lift, half of the time the little car thingies slide back down on the way up, the cars were also painted white in 2012
This is why I love your videos. You highlight unique coasters and rides that I've never seen before. I also love when you show old footage. It's cool to see people had just as much fun on coasters as we do now. Keep up the great vids!
The tubs at number 2 amazing they are in Great Yarmouth England they have been there for years I'm 47 and I used to ride them when I was a child as did my mum . I took my daughter there several times and she rode them to . They are truly a piece of history thank you for sharing them with the world x
Comments like yours are honestly my favorite kinds. I love learning about people around the world and what makes certain coasters special to them. Thanks for sharing!
Tracey Beerling I’m from Great Yarmouth myself and when I was younger that’s where me and my friends go until we were older and started going to pleasurebeach
megan delahay Hi that's what I did I can remember my 1st time on the big rollercoaster with my mum and dad that's what gave me the rollercoaster bug lol . We still come to great Yarmouth every other yea r and my daughter rode the little rides in joyland and now at 15 enjoys the big rides at the pleasure beach . Thanks for replying xx
I've ridden Tulireki when I was in Helsinki last year and it's pretty fun, the only downside is that it is extremely rough at some spots e.g. the drop🙄
(super late reply lmao), yeah, if you don´t brace yourself for the final breaks you´re in for a rough surprise. I´ve heard several pained grunts on that part.
Wow I've not heard of some of these.i really want to get on some more of these! I still love how tornado "launches".it's also interesting to see how many Vekoma coasters there are. I think the ultimate, steeplechase and G-force at Drayton Manor should have been here somewhere
UPDATE: I was informed that a new awesome-looking PowerSplash is coming to Happy Valley Shenzen this year. I didn't know about it because the upcoming coaster's model was unlisted on RCDB, thus not showing up as a PowerSplash. China is such an enormous market, that it's admittedly hard to keep up with its many attractions.
Pulsar in Walibi Belgium is amazing. The 3th launch (the one before the splash) is when the car goes backwards up, and that little hill in the middle gives so much air time with that amount of speed, it's a really nice experience!
I've actually ridden Pulsar, and it's one of my favourite rides! It has plenty of airtime on the spikes and on that airtime-hill. But I'm not a fan of the splash during cold days though.
I've been trying to remember what Number 2 was for ages! I remember riding them when I went on holiday to Great Yarmouth a couple times. It looks really small but it's actually quite fun!
The Tubs at Joyland in Great Yarmouth Norfolk are a must. I pop there most years just to have a go and have done since I was a child. It does make you feel queasy at the end of it though.
the si fi one (forgot the name) is kinda like Racer 75 at kings dominion, and the Pipeline Express reminds me of the Avalanche also at Kings Dominion ;) just thought i could mention that! Love your vids!
Furius Baco is honestly rougher than an SLC, especially on the outside seats. It gave me a bad headache that lasted all day (I rode it first thing in the morning). But it's one of the most beautiful looking rides I have ever seen.
I live in California and for my daughter's birthday we went to six flags and just by looking the super man roller coaster (or is it Lex Luthor drop of death or something like that) anyway it freaks me out 😥😱😨😰
Tornado: "That results in a smooth and fast ascention". That lift hill is anything but smooth, it'll give you whiplash, make your head smash against the seat and give you a heart attack the first time you try it. Still a super fun ride tho lol
Vekoma really are innovators. They are almost like the arrow dynamics of today. SLCs and boomerangs are only 2 of their models. It's like saying b&m should only be judged for inverts and hypers.
Vekoma didn't really put Arrow out of business. Although the competition was really there, it was more of X2 and Six Flags suing them that put them out.
I know right! That's what made the game stand out though, really obscure but actually realistic coaster types that you can play around with. So many fond memories with RCT3
KareiliDoes TheGame I’ll take a guess at translating: “My husband’s favorite coaster is Rutschebanen, whereas my favorite is Tornado at Bakken.” Either that, or her husband is a great cart coaster and she’s a tornado.
In my home park, we have a coaster called “The Exterminator”. It is unique bc it doubles as a wild mouse and dark ride theme. It’s really fun, and the carts and scenery are very well done!
The 3rd coaster isn't the only e-motion coaster. Movie Park Germany had that type of coaster too. It's linked to spongebob and located in Nick land in the amusement park.
I went on Atlantis and lemme tell u, it's lot faster than it looks, also u kinda gotta watch out during the last round when it gets to that small tunnel.. the wall was so close to my head.... but fun ride
I'm going to ask, what happened to the top 10 cancelled roller coasters video? Is it cancelled? That would be ironic. If it is cancelled, I'll make my own video talking what I think is the top 10 cancelled roller coasters. Hopefully that isn't cancelled.
