The only thing I could agree with is that the legs to match the trees, so it very well could be a tree, I can't agree with the rest of pareidolia claims because its too convenient. I have hard time accepting pareidolia as an explanation since I feel you can say pareidolia exists everywhere and all the time, and it comes off as a personal perspective. One person can see something, the other claims its the result of pareidolia. I can literally draw a triangle, and someone can call it a pareidolia because I'm "choosing" to see a triangle and....you know fine, but that just makes the idea of pareidolia even more annoying. So what's my point? I have a hard time believing that pareidolia is as specific as it is. This isn't like finding shapes in clouds, what I'm saying is, I have a hard time believing that pareidolia isn't as broad as the definition would imply. If it is simply our brains picking out patterns then how is it that conveniently that's the only noticeable pattern seen in the photo. Sure you can force yourself to see other things, but in the case of seeing a person, conveniently it fits so perfectly, your brain "immediately" registers it, but for anything else you have to force yourself to see. Now I realize there is proof of the effects of pareidolia I just have hard time believing that somehow pareidolia works from a convenient perspective of the brain immediately recognizing a pattern that doesn't actually exist, but for other things you have to force yourself to see them, it kind of makes it hard for me to believe that pareidolia from a recognizing it immediately isn't far more common than it is.

I don't think pareidola is as broad or as unlikely as you say. Our brains have good reason to be trained to look for patterns - but not necessarily any patterns equally, like triangles, instead focusing on humanoid shapes and especially faces. As for the picture, the more blurry it is and the more room there is for interpretation and pareidola filling in the blanks. In my opinion, the second and third pictures are far more convincing for example. But we still have to keep in mind that it COULD be a random occurence looking like a pattern, as random does that sometimes. Hard to say that for the last one though. For it to be fake, you'd have to get someone in red makeup climb up there. The best case for weird stuff like this is when all explanations are unlikely. :)
