Fern was so calm and supportive towards Annie even though she was a brat with her. I'm glad that Fern stood with Annie and his father through all odds and in the end, Annie apologised and patched things with her.

I loved this story. Annie's dad is a great father, and I understand that he wanted what was best for Annie but that's still no excuse for stealing and Annie only made it worse by covering it up for him and getting an innocent man arrested. And by helping her dad cover up his crimes that makes her an accomplice at least she learned a lesson and that is, "When you don't fess up when you mess up things can get worse." I think Annie has a thing called Attachment Disorder. You see Attachment Disorder is a broad term intended to describe disorders of mood, behavior, and social relationships arising from unavailability of normal socializing care and attention from primary caregiving figures in early childhood. But I'm happy Annie, her dad, and Fern moved to another city to start over in life and I'm happy that Annie accepted Fern in the end.
