My bro here spitting straight truths! Can't argue. I guess one of the plus of the Bachelor for me is: More women... but then again a majority of the audience are female.
there are so many more men on the bachelor though. i feel like when men fight each other for a girl we see that as normal or normal but when girls fight over a guy it’s considered catty and nasty
Please. Jojo kept Chad around way longer than he deserved to be! Jojo saw Chad rip Evan's shirt and insult him (and her) when she gave him the group date rose and still kept him around at the next rose ceremony.
Not only are the Bachelorettes better, but the contestants are better on the bachelorette. Maybe because they tend to cast older men and younger women or maybe they just focus on cattiness more. Not sure why, but its better all the way around
if you don’t have one already you should do a video on bachelor & bachelorette villains. i have so many questions like do the really strong villains promise to cause drama in their auditions & that’s why they are picked or is it all guess work by the producers? do the producers tell the bachelor / bachelorette to keep certain people for x amount of time or is it just luck? idk
I saw a girl's storytime for a show similar to this and in her video interviews, the interviewer kept getting angry at her for not saying the mean answer. He kept trying to guide her to say that she would've "hit a bitch" or something and the girl got really offended because she would never. They try to scout/guide people to be willing to appear on the show as the jerk. I remembered: this storytime was an America's next top model audition, they were not blatantly (but it was obvious) trying to cast her to be the bitchy model that shows up halfway through the show.
I think the men get their egos boosted from having 30 women competing for their affections and it goes to their heads. Whereas we women are a little more used to men harassing us, and find it exhausting, so when a woman is chosen as Bachelorette having a bunch of men compete for her affection is not a totally new experience for her (except maybe the sheer volume of them at once), and she’s just so ready to get rid of all of the annoying ones and get down to just one guy by the time the whole thing is over

@@julest9182 because women spend a lot more time carrying and caring for their offspring than a man would. It meant that women needed to be picky with their mates and what DNA their offspring would inherit from said mate. on the other hand, men could more easily mate and pass on their DNA to as many kids as possible and those from the best female mates (meaning most nurturing and with "healthier" genes) would most likely survive.
@@kitkat8940 it’s not that women are better at picking mates it’s just that men simply don’t care as much. Whereas a man will settle for an average woman who has no income and isn’t anything amazing. A woman is a lot more picky. So it’s not that women are better they’re just more picky
@@jasontater Interesting. Do you think men settle for average partners more often than looking for what our society calls the "one", their "soulmate". bringing it back to the bachelorette, I get the feeling that indeed most female leads are searching for that ideal. I am not sure whether the bachelors are looking for any partner or that they understand that the nature of the show doesn't really allow for meeting the perfect partner.
😂 Got to give her credit for putting him in his place at the end, all the times he should’ve gone home but didn’t was so worth that fantasy suite blowup.
Juan Pablo indeed turned out to be one of the worst, but he didn't start out that way. When I rewatch his season, he was pretty good until his top pick--Sharleen Joynt--self-selected to send herself home. After she left, it was like he gave up hope, and with it, gave up his sense of decency and manners.
Jojo was my fav season just because all the men had a role. And they were always happy or making it feel, alive with all the dumb things they did or everything that Chad did or said. Plus all the boys from her season seemed to be straight up frat boys like almost everyone 10/10 like in no other season
Juan Pablo really was the worst, we don’t claim him we need a new Hispanic bachelor. But yes I agree with this whole video, I always said bachelorettes always think clearer and really consider this as their future. One question tho, didn’t the first bachelor ever stay with his pick too?
@@anniex2000 And now we have the disaster that is Matt James. New rule should be to be the bachelor you have to not have an Instagram, that would weed out all of the shit right there.
As a male viewer, I enjoy the bachelorette a lot more because I know exactly how these dudes think and spotting the Players/a***oles, and the desperate ones is easy to do, hilarious. For the bachelor seasons, I' m confused as to how the women think. They are one way in front of the guy and do a 180 when he isn' t around. I laugh over the years when these girls cry in front of the guy and the dude caves in, lol.
It'd be nice if they started casting dudes that were like... better than average? Like most of the dudes that get cast on bachelorette are outright sub-standard guys. How did Luke P ever get cast? He played D-3 baseball and worked in his dad's warehouse and was a blatant womanizer in all aspects of his life (and continued to be). Seriously execs, start casting dudes that would impress the bachelorette's friend and are better than "passable bar hookup"
I think a guy who has prevailed over 20+ other guys to win a woman is more likely to prize her than a woman who has “won” a guy. That’s cynical but I think it’s an ego thing whereas women base their choice on intuition about the rightness of the relationship.
Agree. Arie looked like the girls dads. He looks 50yrs old. The girl he ended up with (Lauren is WAY OUT OF HIS LEAGUE). And, don't these bachelors ever shave.
Recently Nick had say in interview , that he will never give his first impression rose , to the girl he's the most into. Because he thinks that it will be to obvious. Maybe the others Bachelors act the same.
Not that it is better but it is more Successful might l add!!! 26 Bachelor Seasons, 1 marriage to date, 18 Bachelorette Seasons, 3 or more Marriages!!! The Bachelorette relationships last longer than the overnight lay over 😜 in most Bachelor relationships!!!
I think it's because the set up of the Bachelor is much more true to life. In real life, women are the ones choosing between men and making those decisions. Men aren't good at these types of scenarios. Men don't have an eye for match making. Women do.
I haven’t been keeping up with this show for that long so I have to ask, who is grocery store joe? I’ve heard a lot about him but I don’t know who he is
Both, because I adore the women on the Bachelor, their interactions with each other are way more interesting than with the Bachelor. I'm completely flipping it with the Bachelorette because I like focusing only on one person for a change. Basically I swing both ways! 😉
I've never seen the bachelor or one of its spin-offs but this is one of the best video on youtube. The script for the fight section was exceptionally well written.
But I think the bachelor is more fun to watch than the bachelorette Even tho I don’t judge them because they feel like that is their chance and they are more serious
Unfortunately the last true pick was Rachel and Bryan. Sadly, Tayshia and Zac didn't last but had tons of potential. Katie is a trainwreck, searching to relive her glory days as the bachelorette 🤢🤢🤢 and Michelle and Nate broke up recently as well. Becca went the distance with Garrett, but then broke up during the pandemic (rightfully so-- two different social justice perspectives) Update: JoJo and Jordan are finally married 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 They're my absolute favorite 🥰🥰🥰🥰
😂😂😂😂😂 Juan Pablo as the bachelor counts as a negative towards the bachelor. Don’t @ me! 😂😂 I love you. But Rachel is my favorite bachelorette! I pretty much love all the bachelorettes though.
@M Nah, the Bachelors choose girls based on looks and not on a lasting connection. The Bachelorettes actually give out roses to guys they feel a real connection with.
Cmon Colton is just low blow :). I think the main problem is choising just wrong bachelors. Like ok, emotional virgin who is nice looking sure make good TV but its kinda toxic in the long run for the show, since you can see producers stop caring about being this the show about love, but they more focus on show about drama. I personaly think the middle Ben was ok, he was kinda ready for love, maybe he just need to grow a bit and he will be good husband. Also dont like this season bachelorette, i kinda dont see any good ending...well, lets see.
Desiree's Soulja boy group date felt a bit racist given the fact that not was the ONLY hip hop artist that ever came on the show, but everyone on that date was WHITE 😒 it makes me cringe to this day
I mean they still suck but the bachelorette is hitting at a 37.5% success rate(6 bachelorettes out of 16 are still with the man they selected); the bachelor is hitting a 8.3% success rate (just 2 of 24 seasons the final girl ended up with and is still with the bachelor)
Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney are still together too. Even though she was the runner up, i think that still counts because she was on the show with him.
