snakes are literally the best pets. anytime our cats do anything stupid or annoying (including bite us daily because why not) im like "you know what doesnt do this or that...? my snakes.
I don’t completely agree with the noise, free part, if you’ve had ball pythons in your room for a decent length of time you will eventually experience some of the crazy farting that these snakes can do
I agree 100% with everything you said! We got our BP about 6 months ago and she is a delight. She’s so sweet, doesn’t mind being held, so easy to care for once you get the enclosure set up. Love how quiet and clean she is, and I’m so glad I don’t need to walk her outside at all hours or entertain her constantly. She’s perfect for our family. And she is definitely teaching my 8-year-old daughter responsibility as she learns to help care for her and handle her gently. AND my daughter has become so knowledgeable about snakes in general, writes essays for school - and our BP is teaching her friends not to fear snakes when they come over for play dates. Absolutely the BEST pet!!
Educational value is huge for the reasons stated in the video. Not only genetics, but there’s so much interesting discussion to be had about the differences between mammals, reptiles and birds, in regards to metabolism, body structure and environmental needs. Right on point there…
Great video, 4 of my 6 snakes are ball pythons, when in a big enclosure and given decent interaction they really don't just sit there as much as one would think haha
I got my first reptile ever this last year and it is a ball python. I'm extremely pleased with my decision. She is interactive enough that I'm excited to check on her but she is low maintenance enough that if I don't have time, it's no big deal.
@@joemarsh2050 Very few dry eyes in the reptile community right now. We are all broke hearted. I'll be giving extra hugs to my lori pinstripe ball python I got from him.
Summer, I couldn’t agree more. My first BP came from KINOVA and 2 and a half years later, he’s doing great! Couldn’t switch him to f/t but he’s a good boy.
@@KINOVAReptiles, for sure! 😂🙈🙊. I still can’t get over the amount of noise that can come from even a small ball python though if they let one rip. 😂 They still are my favorite pet of all time! I love my dogs and cats, but the fur and messes they make…. 🙈🙈. I’ll keep my beautiful highly socialized BEL any day.
Karen walking her dog doesn't like snakes because she thinks that there messy or dangerous " mean while her chihuahua bites every one who comes over and shits in the street which then you have to be the one to flipping pick up the crap in public😓and you don't need to worry about abusing a freaking animal by cutting apart its privates and there less long term medical cost because dogs are super inbreed..."
