Hi, yes still love it! No injuries as it’s nice and soft and great content. No real issues. Had a bolt that was too tight but easily adjusted. 100% happy with it.
I've been seeing Peloton treadmills for sale by owners for crazy low prices. Maybe this is why and I wouldn't have known until I got it home. The ability for the Norditrack to fold is a big bonus as I have a small space. Thanks for this video.
Love my IFIT, Streaming from my Roku and playing same workout same time , you get HD 4K to big screen and Ifit control . We love IFIT, worth every penny
Appreciate not everyones asthma is the same, but the fitter, faster and further i ran, the less severe my asthma got. I haven’t experienced any breathing difficulties for over a year now. I had a medical a couple of weeks ago and they measured my lung capacity at 105% (IE, higher than the average)
I’ve been looking at reviews for the peloton tread and I’ve been seeing this treadmill a lot. I personally am getting the peloton tread mostly because I like the instructors a lot and would rather take their classes because I know I don’t push myself much when I’m on my own. I do have a bike with them which is nice because I can use one membership for both. I definitely think that the peloton is overpriced though which is a huge downfall of the product. Also, the peloton customer service is very very good and have had no issues.
For tight spaces that is a nice machine. I opted for an x22i and it's a heavy, huge, monster of a machine. I do like the more upright monitor on this one, but I wanted that 40 degree incline, and thus heavy monster of a machine it is for me.
This is a great treadmill for the price. I love that i can do a workout right at my desk. My only issue is moving it every day but it does have wheels in the front which helps
Right on Steve solid video really help me get iff the fence. Im going to check if you did one already but have you done a video about their warranty plans or customer support with regards to repairs?
It’s a great tread. I bought an extended warranty for this treadmill and customer service has been good with questions about this and other NT equipment. 👍🏽
Im about to get one of these. (thus the reason Im watching your review) But I think for the price the Ifit workouts shouldnt need a monthly or yearly subscription. They should all come preloaded on a hard drive inside the screen and maybe we could pay to update the library when they release more vids. Wishful thinking on my part i guess...
Enjoy! Here’s an update on the IFit software. (They’ve added Spotify since filming and Podcasts also coming) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qm9Ip3GXspk.html
@@SteveJulien thanks. Hey on the website they say 400lb capacity but I notice that all of the RU-vid videos and articles are saying 300lb. Have you heard anything about this? Did they just bump up the weight cap to increase sales maybe or did they make changes to the warranty on the motor? Just curious . I doubt they made it stronger over time.
I watched your videos and ended up buying nordictrack s27!. I'm struggling with the bike as I get exhausted after just 5mins on the bike. I think I need to loose some weight and just can't be bothered with the bike. I know I'm inpatient and now need a treadmill so hope this one is good. I will use the bike but right now I think the treadmill will do for now.
The 2450 is a great treadmill! As for the bike, you can lower the resistance right down and the auto follow features will remember it for future workouts. Hope that helps!
Hi, thanks again for such informative content. Am looking at the 2450 but noticed a 1750, have you looked at this and if yes, what’s the difference? Many thanks!
Loved my Nordictrack until the ifit software’s latest update caused my treadmill to get stuck on a white screen and won’t boot, unable to reset and both Nordictrack and ifit are nearly impossible to get a hold of. Class action lawsuit currently in place as this has affected a lot of equipment with ifit software but could take months to resolve. So I got a nice $2000 paperweight in the meantime.
Sorry to hear that. That is terrible. I was debating between nordictrack 2450, X22I or Sole f85. After hearing these horror stories about their poor customer service, software issues, and motherboard, I think i am going to stay away from Nordictrack.
These are great videos that you are posting. Super valuable. One thing I was disappointed about regarding the NordicTrack commercial 2450 / iFit, was the lack of treadmill programs that don’t have an instructor. Sometimes I just want to go for a walk someplace nice without having to look at an instructor. Bowflex JRNY has quite a few programs that are simply that. Scenic walks that you go at your own pace/duration.
Thanks for mentioning this. This is why I like my hydrow so much. I has a journey's mode that just you , the boat and the water. I don't even use the instructor lead classes and its wonderful. Sometimes you just want to be in flow and not have another voice chirping in the back ground.
Hi Steve quick question for you. I noticed that you don't have a floor mat under your treadmill and was wondering if that did any damage to the floor? Thank you. Julie
Interesting because I have a mat and when the treadmill goes up the matt tends to move with it which causes some friction underneath so was thinking of removing it although I don't want to damage the floor... Thanks for letting me know.
@@SteveJulien Ive been seeing tons of comments online about these being "bricked" by software updates and there being no customer service from Nordic Track... Have you had any issues along those lines or caught wind of that?
How do these fair if you dont pay for ifit? Are there built in programs that also adjust to heart rate? I can not stand subscriptions haha. Also do you have a chest heart rate monitor on for this? Would love a video on the built in stuff or a way to get programmes that can adjust for free if possible?
The Tread+ was where it was at - but they haven't fixed the safety issue. I don't think the Peloton Tread is worth anything versus the unit you just bought. Tread+ or bust!
I feel so lucky I was able to get the Tread+ I can’t believe they still are giving me the option to return it for a full refund. I just hit two years with it and I haven’t had one issue. It’s built like a tank.
I see there consumer threads about nordic Track equipment, where the iFit content often stutters or even cuts out altogether, have you ever experienced that yourself?
It’s always been robust for me but you can get stuttering, you should be able to see it in the videos. My camera is stationary but I barely notice when running.
The 1750 is a great treadmill! 10 Game-Changing Features of NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Treadmill ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aqutRzGY3CM.html
Thanks. One more question....when you use iFit on the monitor through your AppleTV is there still a link to the treadmill or bike or rower so the resistance is automated with the iFit workout?
do not buy , after watching this guys videos i was convinced to buy , what i brought was a big brick , slow loading , multiple problems with the machine and for a very expensive machine the quality plastic was unbelievably cheap , i pressume this post will be deleted , but ill be happy to make a video on this piece of paper weight
Glad you liked it! They seem to be sold out currently in the UK (i'm not sure where you are) but the NEW 2950 will have the same features, but with a very large 27 inch screen. 🇬🇧: bit.ly/NordicTrackUK
@@SteveJulien Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm also in the UK but couldn't find the model in review 2450. I can only see the 1750 and 2950. Even the link you sent doesn't seem to have the 2450 on there. Ah apologies, the 2950 is the newer version. Ok thanks for that
Hey! Just got one of these great machine! The only issue I seem to having is the videos jitter alot during a workout. It's not a buffering issue as I have good broadband and full wifi signal. Feels like the screen/tablet they are using is under powered. Do you have any performance issues on the IFit videos?
Love your videos. I am considering the notdicktrack 1750 just due to it being 500$ cheaper here in the states. Does it pair with the Apple Watch though? The nordicktack chat said it does but I couldn’t find anything on the site that said it would pair with it as a hrm.
Hi! Glad you’re enjoying them! Yes, you can. I use my Apple Watch with the NordicTrack bike and Treadmill. I’m just about to film a video about it but you just need this little device called a Watchlink. To order your Watchlink, please use this link and use promo code STEVE10 to get 10% off your order: www.watchlink.app/ For U.K. orders, you can order via a third party with this link (Search 'Watchlink' when on the site, sorry no discount here): www.topformdesign.co.uk/?ref=6ygmgno6t6
its a headache to do this. watch about the "privelege mode" that you have to do before you can play other apps like Netflix or youtube...and you will understand what I mean. It is very frustrating considering the amount of money I paid for this machine....and the hazzle just to watch youtube. It is like norditrack is force feeding you to eat "Ifit" good luck !
Really well over the last year. It’s been well used in that time. My 2450 is the 2022 model and I’m currently tested the 2023/24 commercial series 1750 and also really impressive. Hope that helps.
I think they're currently sold out of the 2450 in the UK. The 2950 has the 27 inch screen compared to the 22 inch on the 2450. I have the 27 inch screen on my NT Bike and its fills more of your field of vision.
Your asthma is due to a lack of salt in the cell. Not any ceap table salt but Celtic Salt. Celtic Salt has 85 minerals necessary to have proper cell function. Next time you have an episode like I, experiment taking a pinch of Celtic Salt in your mouth and dissolve it, then drink water. Then just and a pinch of Celtic Salt to your bottle of water. Most of your water bottles are not easy to wash, there's mold in there and aggravates the asthma. Hope it helps someone.
I have the 2450, do I need to lube the belt with silicone? I read the manual under maintenance and did not see any reference to lubricating the belt! Your thoughts please and thank you. Great videos👍🏾
Thanks for the review. It is too bad you can't raise the screen up to eye level, or just hang it on the wall at the proper heightr. When you look straight ahead, your line of sight is above the top of the screen. I don't want to be looking down. May I ask how tall you are?
Have you at all looked into the permanent access to privilege mode in order to use netflix, etc, on the treadmill? I am told it can be a pain to get netflix going on it. Just curious if you had any experiences with it.
I live in a basement apartment and my ceiling is low.. How high off the ground is a leve deck of the treadmill? I want to get one but worried it might be to high.
I don't understand, I bought the 2150 and it came with 3.8 CHP and supported user weight 375 and it had life time motor/frame but the 2450 only 300 lbs user weight and only a 3.6/2 yr parts and I got the 2150 for 1800 and free shipping - the control panel couldn't be fix or replaced after 10yrs and I had to put it out as bulk trash - what a waste - what's the use of having life time motor/frame warranty if they can't even fix or replace the control panel.........
The treadmill to me would be better if ifit offered content without someone jamming in your ear or destroying the ambience of the track and scenery you want to run on.
I was about to pull the trigger for this treadmill, but I will not be able to watch a workout with does frame drop every 15 seconds . It is not aceptable for a $2500+ treadmill in 2022. I will spend my money on a different product.
Ive heard good things about ifit, jts just too bad that it all centers around nordictrack. In terms of service and warranty,, they're horrible. I think nowadays there are other treadmills out there that work with ifit?
It’s been really solid. My wife and I both use it regularly. Because it’s a Treadmill, I did get the extended warranty though as have less knowledge of these than bikes.
@@SteveJulien - will this enable the "smart adjust" feature on the NordicTrack as well? As in speeding up or slowing down the speed to keep my heart rate in the correct range as required by the selected work out?
I wish all the massive screens they insist on fitting could show what i want to see. Add Netflix etc to it, or at least a way to mirror my phone or tablet. No use for ifit or the pointless data they use on them
