I love living in St George. I have a 2 stroke dirt bike for the trails here and a large ADV moto. Now I want to get that perfect in between moto. Thanks for making me spend more money but what I get to do is so worth the money. I hope to meet you soon one day. Thanks for the videos.
The plug for the tours and Moto Mansion doesn't need to be shameful, you have worked very hard to set everything up dude. If any of you out there are thinking about going for a ride or staying with EveRide I can't recommend you do so enough - you will probably have one of the greatest experiences of your life. This is a fantastic video, we have been contemplating selling my 450X to help pay for school...then I watch a video like this and that just doesn't seem like an option anymore. Keep it up brother!
Dude! You nailed it! Tourism department will be contacting you for a promo vid! My brother and I are planning a trip down there, hope to make it next year and you are the going to be the base of operations for us. Can hardly wait to rip the throttle with you!
I,ve been to utah twice riding the highways.Love this place.Next time I'll be hauling my dual sport down & enjoying the real roads & trails. Thanks for making these great videos. I'll be getting a hold of you when I go next eveRide ADV!!!
What a great video. It was particularly funny that I opened your video a few moments after conference ended, so the intro fit right in. I am in central Arizona and we have some great riding country, but don't be surprised if I come up your way to take in some sights. As always, you produce a very high quality product and the St. George Chamber of commerce should love what you are doing! Thanks, Chris (AKA Blueheeler)
Hey you guys. I lived/worked in Utah for 16 years, never had any issues with the locals, really good people that frequently get a bad rap from people who are ignorant about the state and the people. What you see from Everide is what you get. I live in Florida now but keep a bike out there and go out to ride every year for a month or two. Also. Great riding all around, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and etc, etc, etc. you only go around once, don’t miss out.
I just had the privilege of traveling the length of US 89 from Provo south to Flagstaff... Road bikes... but the entire way I was convincing the other 2 riders with me that we should plan a second run to St. George and pay for a private tour. Beautiful place... Must ride offroad there... with eveRide...
I thought I had an awesome sandbox to play in southern New Mexico. Your sandbox looks better then mine. Thanks for the invite. Hope to run into you one one trails.
Fantastic visuals! I've never been a motorcycle guy, but I have to say that this video has opened up new horizons in my mind. I'm actually moving to southern Utah in February from the midwest (thank God!) and would love to meet up and ride with you sometime. Great work with your channel, just subbed!
I hope to make it down there sometime this year. I live in South Jordan and rode to Zion two years ago. Wish I had someone to ride with, but I'm cool with going solo.
Hi Tyler, I don't normally comment on youtube vids but I just had to say something. I know this is an "old" vid but i just wanted to say thanks for bringing this to my attention. Currently live up in Salt Lake and have a g650GS (see pic
Saw your post. Your story sounds like mine. Im new to southern new Mexico from outside Philly. I came loaded for bear. Ktm 1290 super adventurer. I put a set of knobbys on her and headed out with much bravado and confidence. It didn't take me to long to figure out that i was way over my head and luckily sand doesn't hurt when the bike let's you know that your have no business being there without the skill sets. Next day I had a drz400s next to the ktm. I Got rid of the ktm and learned how to ride on the sand on that drz. No regrets. Great tool. Hope you got your drz and enjoying your adventures.
Epic. Love this channel. The reason I got a KLR in the first place, and while I traded it for a more street oriented ride I still hanker for some trails! Planning on buying a DRZ or WR250 or something of the like next year! Thanks EveRide!
I'll be dropping you a line at the start of the new year...my ride buddy (and dual sport guru) and I are thinking of a visit to your area in April/May. I have very limited off-road skills, so mostly easy stuff for me, but spectacular scenery regardless of the pace!
I am from Texas and was planning a group ride to moab next spring, now I am seriously rethinking to head to St. George. Gonna have to see about airbnb or if ever rides place is available.
Well now you're just flaunting it. new direction for the channel, Everide the Real Estate Agent logo could be "We'll Sell You a House Here so You can Live On Your Bike Out There"
Each Adventure, You should have been with us at The Flying Monkey Rally last weekend around Zion and in St. George on Monday and Tuesday on the ride Tyler led for Patrons. Put it on your calendar for next year, watch the Flying Monkey Facebook group for the date and sign up man! Bring the TT250 and let's see if we can have eveRide to do one of his highly popular "brutally honest reviews" on it. The Rally was only $75 including a campsite for three nights. In St George those of us who camped did it for free! . . . Okay, there was a little dust storm that passed through the area on Sunday night but the worst of it was over by morning. :-D Seriously Josh, you should do it.
Michael Simi, the contact link can be accessed on the eveRide Patreon page. Look in the top right hand corner of page for the tiny square box shaped icon link (to the right of an icon that looks like a house.)
I really, really wanted to go this year but I just couldn't make it happen with all the stuff I have going on this month. I am definitely planning on making it out there next year though. I have been seeing all the pictures on the Flying Monkey facebook page and it looks like it was an amazing time. Unfortunately, I no longer have the TT250... I had an opportunity come up to get a new bike for a great deal so I had to get rid of one of them... the TT250 drew the short straw lol. I'll have a video talking about that decision soon ;)
Dang Tyler, Your videos are always so well produced and the video quality is amazing. I'm hoping I can finally get down there sometime between Thanksgiving and Easter.
Great video of the area and overview - just got back from that area (among many others all over the western states) on a recent ADV ride on my R1200GS covering nearly 8,000 miles... I have to agree with you that Utah is very special. While I did NOT ride any goat trails there, I did a lot of the red and amber dirt roads, some at very high speed (I was running Shinko 804 & 805 big block tires in case you're wondering) - what a wonder that state is... The only downside I experienced, which was more entertaining then anything was the small, attractive mom & pop cafe along a small highway shortly after entering Utah from Idaho where I pulled over early one morning for what would be the worst breakfast I have ever experienced on this plain of existence served up by the most unfriendly servers I've ever met, surrounded by the most unfriendly local folk ever... Yep, really that bad and the only thing I can think of is that I wondered in to the place with my full ADV suit on (less the helmet of course), putting my phone away as I walked in and looked up to see a nearly full establishment, all stone quiet and staring at me as if I had just landed from another plaine, alien, unexpected and seriously NOT wanted there! I stopped waved congenially at everyone and stated something to the effect that "this looked like a good place to stop and have breakfast" - everyone went back to eating and conversation... I noted pamphlets on all the tables once I sat, and on mine there was one with the title, something to the effect of "Understanding Women" and another "How to Annoy the Idiots in Your Life"... I realized then that I had interdimensionally landed in the Old Mormon Heaven and was doomed if I didn't leave ASAP... Oh yes, I also was given the absolute worst coffee I had ever tasted as well - Clearly this entire community was vehemently opposed to ADV riders invading their heavenly eating establishment... Yikes! I still left a tip and chuckled to myself as I drove off, headed towards the South Western portion of the state where everywhere else, peaple were wonderful and in fact, people were astoundingly wonderful Everywhere else I went! It was an amazing 44 day adventure as rich in spiritual depth as it was in physical, non-linear wonder...
First class video with some terrific drone work ! The St George Chamber of Commerce should be beating a path to your door to hire you for any video advertising they want to do to promote the area. I've thought for a long time that you could do very well offering guiding services in the phenomenal area you call your backyard ! Good luck !!!
You are getting better and better with your videos and narrating ,been watching for a long time, love your videos and I hope you make good money doing so ! FB Fritzls Euro Grill
You capture some bloody awesome shots for sure! I'd love to ride out there one day, between you and Kyle Brotherson from Dirtbike Channel I'm pretty much sold on the whole Utah thing! ..One slight problem though, I'm on the other side of the damned world in Tasmania, Australia. Ugh.
Always a joy to watch your vid's , and now I am inspired to get back to my enduro roots, selling the sportster and buying an adventure bike ! just wondering how tall is MR everide ? I am 5-9 in riding boots, So is klr to big ?
Considering heading up there with my wife and our dirt bikes in November. Wondering if a place like Willow Wind RV Park is close enough to the St George riding areas?
I like southern Utah because the colour of the earth, its just like outback australia..... only its a lot more 3 dimensional (hills mountains). Australian outback is as flat as in ironing board
Whats up man? I live in Vegas and ride alot of mtb out in Utah. Where can I find these trails as far as maps/apps go? I know for mtb they use several apps..anything like this for these type of trails?
Probably the best "come visit (any state)" infomercial I've seen! Thought about moving to Utah several years and three children ago. Wanted somewhere I could ride year round, Not a reality now. Although it looks fun, I'd probably miss the tree topped mountains and trout streams of Appalachia . Not sure how true it is, but, I heard that if you aren't Mormon, your probably not gonna get a good paying job in Utah. Oh, well.
SteelnReel that probably depends on the specific area, any place you work depends on who you know and it is unfortunate but I've noticed that it is the norm. I'm sure the greater Vegas area or Phoenix area would be close enough.
So, ... I'm kind of your target audience. Reluctantly middle age, been riding for more than 35 years, but I haven't been on a dirt bike since half my life ago. All the sudden, I'm shopping for a small dual sport to ease back into trail and desert puttering. Probably not full on Dakar style adventures, but I'm in a state a bit south of you, so plenty of day ride opportunities. Thinking along the lines of the CRF Rally with a set of "hey fatty" springs. Suggestions?
So I have a deal for you.....come up to NW Montana this winter and I'll take you snowbiking and in trade, you show my buddy and I around your area on dirt. I have an extra snow bike and we have some incredible riding here. I have a few videos on my page if you'd like to take a look.
Short notice buddy.. But I'll be driving to Moab from Vegas on Wed Oct 4th.. I could stop in St George for a ride. Or buy you lunch at my favorite Indian place in st george. Or both :).. I'm going to pm you my number. Bike I'm bringing is a KDX220R.. hope it works out and you can meet.
