Oman is great place especially the people of Oman but when it comes travel & entertainment it will not meet the expectations comparing to of any other cities in GCC also when it comes to business opportunities most of the companies who open up a branch in Oman it isn’t very favorable or profitable and eventually it will suffer to closure. The country overall lacks in support to the new business owners who are expats.
After the new rules, its really bad, salary been dwcreased for labours and low skilled personnels and they are bringing local people, giving them 10× higher salary...i work in a catering company where a non omani gets 80 riyal as a cleaner, with no weekly off almost 12/13 hours duty(food&accomodation provided) and omani citizen for the same role gets 400 that too for only 15 days in those 15 days his up down is also included so their workdays are only 12/13 and work is less(they will be cleaning only omani rooms, and other laws)

Every place has modern day slavery. USA, Europe, etc. always pick on middle eastern countries, I agree it’s bad there as well but it’s annoying always pointing the finger when other countries are just as bad, if not worse

There’s no freelance visa in Oman for jobseekers, employment visa can only be processed by employer and it’s free, you’ll pay money and once you come you cannot work any other place until 2years. Search for job once hired you’ll get visa for free
Which one, give me example I will check, if you don’t believe me pay then come and confirm. At least do some research online before you even trust anyone.
