Words can’t express how happy I am to see that a vocaloid game is so popular right now. Feels so refreshing as someone who’s been in this house for years 😭😭😭😭 the way I was so starved for new content and this is giving me my entire LIFE
@@Allexceed_-rd6oe no I don’t, sorry. I’d assume it depends what region your Apple ID belongs to. Like if you have a Japanese ID you could download the Japanese version. Some games let you use different languages but I’m not sure if this one does. If it does it would be in the settings. You could try changing the language of your whole device in the phone settings too but I doubt that would change the game itself.
I'm in the same boat as you - I've been part of Vocaloid for years and to _finally_ be able to play one of its games, and it's popular? Yo, this is a dream come true. It's so much fun and I love every thing about it.
@@lueroso1540THISS I've been in the vocaloid fandom for a long time and i feel the same way as you (bonus points for the cards so you can get more vocaloid pfp)
Honestly, friendly slides and maps which aren't as difficult as bandori's, forcing characters to dance 3dmv however you like, going to lives, only having vocaloid songs (since i don't really like listening to much original or anime ones), having SIX BOYS (also girls) which are all good characters and each of them has interesting backstory and interactions are the things that keep me hostage in sekai prison and, honestly, don't even wanna to get out. Also event system in sekai is much better, I believe, but maybe it's just me.
but i think bandori's art is prettier when it comes to their limited. you should check it out! but yeah, i like proseka more bcs i am myself a vocaloid fan so i know a lot more songs here better than bandori lol
I went to one of the virtual like performances a few times and let me just say that shit was so fucking hype like???? Holy shit I now want to go to like an actual concert or something like this this is fucking fun as hell
the live shows thing is so real. on paper it doesnt sound all that exciting, bc how is it different from an mv? but its totally different. being in a room with other people, byt especially the characters acting like theyre live on stage and talking between songs, and of course the glowsticks. its way more fun than i ever thought itd be
The BPM in bandori is kinda risky too. Like the interval between notes in bandori is so little that it'd tire out thumb players, combine that with those weird sliders it's like playing on thin ice. Proseka definitely feels better on tapping judgements. But feature wise bandori is more laid back since you don't have to worry about live boost refills and doing a shitton of missions, anything in the game just drives you to be immersed in the beatmaps and not grinding for your team building. But hey bandori doesn't have Kaito so like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@richard35791 hey dumbass this comparison was made under the same speed and tap offsets. I still play and enjoy both regularly. Also your normie ass wouldn't understand why people flock to vocaloids in the first place. Good thing you're a troll I need to blow off some steam
I have listened to vocaloid for years now and proseka is a blessing as I am starved for content. I play both games but bandori doesn’t have meiko so which one is really better??
I like both games to be fair, but Bang Dream stands a little closer to my heart because 1/I got into it cause of a close friend of mine 2/ I got a few people into it (4) 3/I watched Your Lie In April cause of Hikaru Nara that I, you guessed it, played in that game But in Project Sekai, I like the fact that 1/There's some vocaloid songs I wish we had over in Bang Dream (Wowaka and cosMo songs, for example) 2/The vocaloid songs are sang by... Y'know... Vocaloids 3/I think the style is neat
the thumb thing honestly did it for me like i went hard on bandori for a full yeah but i played proseka once and the abilty to actually achieve stuff while still being a thumb player is just amazing. more rhythm games should be thumb friendly i think. also it has mizuki
edit: guess who started seriously playing bandori again after a tokrev collab was announced MSJDJDJNDNSNS tho coming back to bandori after proseka (esp the mess that was the en launch) i think i was being too harsh on the game bc of burnout. in the end they're both really good games anyway, so what's the use of comparing them? 🤷 plus with the announced timeskip for bandori and some hidden gems in the stories, i find that i can better appreciate both games now for their own strengths instead of trying to make one seem better than the other. and that's on character development, folks 🍵 honestly ever since i started playing prosekai, the gameplay for bandori just feels too janky for me... plus they have MALE CHARACTERS that interact normally with the girls. do guys (other than the dads) even exist in bandori's universe-- but seriously speaking though, i've found that the stories and events for sekai are so much more thought through and complex compared to bandori, and i've always been a sucker for vocaloid-related content so. 😩
From Argonavis was part of bandori project before but they've seperated now. They also had a rhythm game AAside(?) but it's gone now probably bcs of the rebranding. They probably will make a new one. Someday🥲
@@raisha99 oh my gosh yes from argonavis completely slipped my mind 😭😭😭 i was so sad abt the game shutting down but at the same time it wasn't handled very well by DeNA, but here's to hoping with the rebranding we'll get a new game for the boys!!!! 🥺
As someone who can’t play the newest version of love live and always felt embarrassed in Bandori co op when I was playing easy while everyone else was playing expert I can confidently say it’s very much so fun as someone who cannot keep up with it with my thumbs and my single braincell! Also the story is SOOOO good I got incredibly addicted to the Vivid’s story lmao can definitely suggest this game.
I grew up listening to vocaloid so I like proseka more because of the familiarity (both are great, no hate) also, they got cute boys there that you can force to dance to cute songs lmao
I started with Bandori as my first rhythm game, and honestly it's great for beginners. I was obsessed with the game but the reason I deleted it was because of the characters and storyline. Like I thought the obstacles the girls went through werent very interesting, and most of the girls just seemed like relatively normal girls. So, I deleted it. didnt really touch other rhythm games after that. Then Prosekai and Enstars came out and I was pleasantly surprised that they took on more thrilling storylines that I was genuinely hooked on. I dont even like the gameplay in Enstars that much, but I loved the story and characters.
I first started playing bandori and I fell in love with the kind of rhythm game that it was, I didn't like D4DJ as much, and also played phigros along with other rhythm games. After a while I found out that this existed and loved it, I think it is actually better than bandori, the mapping of the songs it's amazing and well, I also like vocaloid. Both games are good but there's some details that make me prefer colorful stage. I dont know why I took this so seriously but I wanted to spit it out. Btw my main language is Spanish so I'm sorry if i caused confusion or just wrote horrible, thanks for reading and have a good day!
god I was so desperate when seeing people prefer sekai more than bandori(not like they cant but it just… Sad..) Cause i also play both and i still prefer bandori more cause i already stick with it for so longggg Ur comment makes me feel happy now:’) thanks
First point is real, i recently got mvp (...playing on normal... Don't know how that happened) and i got really excited since i'm not so good but i still got ot
I recently got the english version and I have to say: I can't wait for some of these songs to come out. Like I know DAMN well I'm gonna be trying to FC Drop Pop Candy.
I played bandori first so maybe I’m biased but I find sekai much harder and the note size not being able to be changed and overall how distracting the game can be for me sometimes makes me enjoy bandori more
I’ve been playing both games for a while and here are my issues. Bandori isn’t hard enough and pj sekai hits don’t register as well. It’s also quite a bit laggier
@@airii420 yh i had trouble with the upright flicks at first but i figured out it was because when i play bandori i always flick sideways, so i had to train myself to actually flick upwards lmao
As a thumb player i feel like both have their own amazing options for each player. Like bandoris sfx and frame customization and sekais auto play. I tried bandori first and i agree the sliders are on a whole other level there but it was a bit easier for me to fc much more songs than sekais. I am a new sekai player so i probably just need to get used to the generals of the game itself, i do though enjoy the endless grind in sekai though unlike bandori lmao.
Tbh I like bangdori’s notes better cause they’re easier to click but i think project sekai is harder 💀maybe it’s just for me, or it’s cause I hate bangdream covers of vocaloid songs, actually I don’t like most bangdream covers
I played Bandori before this game, I'm also fond of rhythm games in general, but what made me like Project Sekai more are the stories. Whil Bandori does have stories and ones in events, they don't really progress much in terms of any of the characters developing aside from the main band stories. With Project Sekai, I can see an immediate difference. They have the stories in the events actively build from the main stories of the groups and you can see their development not only as characters but as a group.
As a vocaloid fan and a bandori player for a long time, when I saw that there was the project sekai it was simply a blessing, I love both games, but being able to watch len whenever I want doesn't compare to anything--
I'll only talk about Free Live (and UI) for both, as I only play Free Live anyways, the Gacha rates are the same, so I have no comparison here Age/UI: The single largest and most defining difference is age. Sekai's UI is very neat and easy to navigate. Bandori feels dated and more akin to an older generation. However, due to this difference, Bandori runs more smoothly than Sekai. There is no way I'm running video with gameplay in Sekai, but in Bandori, I can do that with no worry of a lag spike. Battery is also another concern. Sekai does drain more battery than Bandori. Feeling: I do joke around that Sekai is Chuni-Dori, the fusion of Chunithm and Bandori (Chunithm is one of Sega's rhythm games). This means that Sekai is more freeflowing than Bandori. You could also say Sekai is Bandori 2.0, a way to restart a decent game and make it polished from the start. Gameplay: Bandori, with uniform note size, is easier to read than Sekai (at Master Diffs - 27) However, Sekai has rewarding sliders (See Roki on both for a comparison). As a thumb player, both don't feel hard to me (about 27-28 Bandori, 28-29 Sekai), so I can't see why there is a notable differnce. In short: Both are fine, one has more established gameplay, one has more freeflowing gameplay.
Both are hard to me ;-; and im relatively new to rythem games , i tried bandori and as a thumb player its so annoying like i would go s l i g h t l y to the left and i will miss, i just started playing project sekai yesterday and ;-;-; definitely more thumb player friendly but i cant seem to fc any “hard” songs i always miss one or two, in terms of easiness ensemble stars hold a special place in my heart for being easy to get the hang of and every time after i play bandori or sekai i play enstars with more ease lol
Idk about bandori because I only watch the anime but for me another plus point from puroseka is their stories. Even tho I'm not an artist, that ena event made me cry so hard. I usually didn't cry in this kind of game stories because I read it really fast but damn I can feel the pain
sure, bandori is a pretty good rhythm game with good gameplay and good characters, but where are the hot anime men? nowhere? yeah, that’s what I thought
The thing is I got this on my phone and it lagged so horribly that multilive wasn't an option. I uninstalled it the same day. I recently tried reinstalling Bandori though and it kept crashing so oh well lmao now I get neither
switched to sekai after 3 years of playing bandori and getting burnt out from how easy the songs were...and saving up for 9 months and still not getting the card I wanted-
Ignoring this because Bang Dream is better. Reasons: 1. Easier to get event members. 2. They got animated cards. 3. They literally had collabs with hololive, 6-9 animes and cover like a bunch of songs from different types of anime songs. 4. Aya and the Pastel Palettes. 5. Poppin Party 6. There's a pass in JP during its 5th anniversary where if you buy the pass, you'll get a dreamfest ticket to choose from every dreamfest character leading to backstage 5 Himari and Aya. So, sucks on that
Ahah most addicting thing about PJSEKAI for me has been the characters. The stories just feel like they all have this huge connections and they're always sastifying to see. I've sadly only got halfway on like, Vivid Bad Squads and More More Jumps, because they're the ones I prefer, but I've grown to really love the characters shown and their personal struggles and challenges along the way. (Take like, both Airi and Shizuku from MJM. They just felt ridiculously human)
i like bandori more because its so much easier to level up cards & to get outfits!! project sekai is fun because of the dancing characters and the notes are really pretty but the long notes are a little hard 4me, kaoru seta.
Started with bandori when en came out but I much prefer proseka now. I also find bandori easier than proseka. The only lvl 31 songs I can (consistently) clear are rolling girl and Dappou rock
As a thumb player I agree: very thumb friendly! I'll probably still need like a few more months of playing to get disappearance master level, and I've only been playing for a few months! :))
I only just started playing project Sekai and have played Bandori for sooooo long, I like that project Sekai has hot boys because I’m gay and I want a game where I can simp for guys, a game that’s not a otome game like obey me
Sweet Music gave me constant ptsd because during the JP open beta the flick notes NEVER REGISTERED AND IT WAS SO ANNOYING. That was the point of there being a beta test, but still.
I like vocaloid and all, but I consider Colorful Stage to be just a clone with Miku and the gang. And personally I don't find much difference between both slide notes, sure CS does it in a much more stylized way but I just feel like they look smoother than the sharper lines in bandori's slides. They play the same in the end. And I'm more familiar with bandori than miku atp so... The cosmetic gimmicks are very subjective points that do not determine if it is better than bandori. But I like both, so meh.
In my most humble opinion, robeats on Roblox is the true hell. Four lanes, except on higher leveled songs its just a mess of notes. Bandori was like a breath of relief because my eyes and fingers weren't dying trying to figure out the note patterns. I ended up quitting robeats because my wrists and neck were starting to cramp lol. I applaud those who are able to play that game well.
ngl i used to play robeats a lot back in the day, its the thing that got me into rhythm games. Im more used to games like prsk now so i hate playing high leveled songs there. The game is basically dead at this point though. oh and I used to play it on a laptop 💀
@@staeriix I played on my phone lol, my back was dying bc I was hunched over with four fingers on the phone I placed flat on my desk trying to catch all the notes XD
Except the Gacha rates. That's what Bandori is top tier in. Those like 6 4 star guarantees during anniversarys.. meanwhile me on Pjsekai doing almost 200 pulls and only 1 4 star ಠ◡ಠ
Have to respectfully disagree, played bandori for a good 3 months, no 4*; played puroseka both JP and global, got multiple 4* in a single 10 pull. Tbf didn't play bandori long enough to get to anniversary though.
@@XBNaddie Those 6 4* stat Gacha guarantees are still a thing. For me, I did almost 300 pulls in sekai, paid stars included and only 1 4 star. Whereas on bang dream, I get multiple 4 stars. Not only is pulls cheaper on my bang dream but you only need 200 to exchange and not 300. And with your paid stars unlike pjsekai, you can exchange it for lims, get a 4* lim, and multiple 4* guarantees at once depending on the special occasion.
