Just wanted to say that besides the well-organized information, the cinematography, editing, and color grading on this were masterful! Wow. It was like watching a real movie! Well done!
Totally incorrect, Aussies will train YOU! ;-) Forget that Sunday morning lie-in, it is just not going to happen. Rain or shine, you WILL exercise. They are fascists! The perfect personal trainers. You think that you are training them? Sure, they will learn your tricks, and be obedient, but also mischievous. They WILL outwit you on occasion, but you don't care because their love is sincere. You are a special sheep to them. On a family walk, you will be herded. They like a tidy mob.
My Aussie didn't get that memo of being a personal trainer. I have to bribe or force her to go on walks lol. She likes to nap and solve food puzzles. She prefers not to leave the house haha
I have to say that as a long time Australian Shepherd owner this is all true. I really enjoyed the video, as others have said the quality is excellent!! Also I have a suggestion for future videos; I see that you have done quite a few videos on different dog breeds. Have you ever thought about doing videos on the 7 dog groups? There are not many videos on the actual groups, where as whatever breed you type into the search there is already thousands. Thanks for sharing.
I have a German/Australian Shepherd mix that is like the perfect dog for me. She's only slightly bigger than an Aussie, small for a German, about 50lbs, Full German markings with the pointy ears, essentially looks like a mini German Shepherd, which again, is like perfect for me, I didn't want a big ole pure GSD, smaller dog travels and camps better.
I got one late in life, I'm 77 years old, got her when I was 74 and walking 5 miles a day. I'm having issues with my lower legs and can't do that walk anymore, exercise her by throwing tennis balls twice a day. wish I could get back yo our 5 mile walks,
My australian shepherd is very big. A red try weight 35kg and 64cm high, like most german shepherds do. Its a showline, big deference with the workline.
Beautiful video. Since I am not as active as most owners I would build and use performance training for the physical aspects in my backyard plus walks to socialize. I live in Burlington, Vermont and everyone owns a dog so there is at least one or more per household as the are apartment buildings and I am hoping that changing up the course would also challenge his/her intelligence. I am very interested in their intelligence. I want to see how well a dog can communicate. I've seen some YT videos about dogs using buttons to communicate 3 word sentences. Unless I see it in real life I am not convinced. Thanks for the video I had not even considered an Australian Shepherd.
