Try checking top-pair or better against them on a wet flop (h) Learn to walk away from tables in which you have an aggressive player on your left (i) Stop making squeeze plays against rocks who are capable of limping premiums. Instead, limp in with them, hit your set, then value bet relentlessly

I play 200nl and loads of people still range bet that board at those stakes lol. It's not bad at all vs mediocre regs. It's pretty bad in theory.

Theoretically, sure SB vs BB ranges are relatively similar and you're playing OOP. Playing exploitatively, people overfold that flop texture which is the argument for range betting in the first place. The point is that, exploitatively on your part, you should be realising that this is what is happening in pool and re-exploiting it.

15:20 another thing… Ive only had somebody fold to a check raise on the flop _once_ since playing on pokerstarsmi. Another thing I’m going to try. And from watching hands that im not in I HAVE noticed people will call the flop at almost 90% of range but then fold like 50-80% of range on turn. But I also see things like Q7ss cbet on KT9sdd, call pot xr, call 2/3 pot on turn [3c], and then fold river. Don’t get me wrong… I love these guys… but it’s common enough where I feel like an idiot for even trying to bluff unless I have specific information that the guy _isn’t_ a station. Feels like I’m lighting money on fire for the same reason _not_ betting that A4o is lighting money on fire to two checks

Villain is supposed to call those hand that does not mean bluffing is minus 0EV. If you block like 25% on the river you need IP to fold 20% to breakeven on the bet. So what you need to see if he has enough trash that folds then compared that to other sizes if you split on the river (id split 25/150) too se what makes most money.

Cbetting is fine in that spot, but you have decent showdown value, so it is a mandatory cbet. 932 is never a range bet in theory. My guess is that cbetting frequency BU v BB (there is no real solver spot BU v SB flat call) is around 65% (half of which is small size, the other half big size).

You probably just don’t notice when this happens. It happens all the time at lower stakes but doesn’t tend to be very memorable.

This doesn’t work. There are lots of spots where we bet the flop and villain calls. Turn goes check-check. And then on the river our range is still lower EV than villain’s and some of our range is -EV to bluff in theory. Mandatory river bluffs are spots where we have a range advantage and very low showdown value. Poker isn’t that easy.

Best way to beat a nit is to call the preflop raises with speculative hands so you can crush their over pairs with two pair and straights and flushes and if you miss get the hell out of the way. When you sense weakness and the board brings a scare card on the turn or River don’t be scared to fire because remember , they are nits so if they don’t have it they’re gonna lay it down. If you get any resistance don’t make hero calls against nits. In comparison if you’re playing against aggressive players you do the exact opposite, sit and wait for a hand and let them punt their chips to you. Don’t try to bluff those idiots and find more hero calls. If they’re players who come over the top as a bluff/semi bluff a lot min check raise with your nutted hands on dry boards.

Some call it low stakes, others call it mod stakes. It used to be a lot softer than it is today! And there used to be more higher stakes running on a regular basis.
