10 Rekonstruktionswünsche für Hildesheim 

Als Architektur Student bin ich solchen Kanälen unendlich dankbar, da das kulturelle Erbe in der aktuellen deutschen Architektur viel zu stark vernachlässigt wird!

God, I wish these structures still existed. Even if I never visited Hildesheim, just knowing they’re still around would suffice. The last place, the Kaiserhaus…stunning. I love the statues built into the framework. It’s so unfortunate what happened.

Schönes Video. Nur der Titel braucht eine Überarbeitung ... Da stimmt etwas nicht!

Es ist allerdings immer zu fragen, in welche (moderne) Umgebung solche Rekonstruktionen gestellt werden. Die Frankfurter "Altstadt" ist warnendes Beispiel wie grotesk und fremd Rekonstruktionen wirken, wenn gleich nebenan Anpassungsarchitektur steht - Beispiel "Goldene Waage", wo einen nur das nackte Grauen packt !
