#furnitureflip #thrifted #trashtotreasure
Hello friends! In this video I have created a compilation of 10 furniture projects, trash to treasures, and thrift flips from my channel. The pieces in this video are mostly farmhouse, shabby chic, glam, modern, and boho but could easily appeal to other styles as well. I will be linking the playlist that has all of my past furniture projects on it so you can watch the full length makeovers of every one of these projects if you want to get more detailed information about their transformations.
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. The income I earn from my channel has helped me be able to donate my pieces to those in need. My current focus is young adults that are aging out of the foster care system. Please help me hit my goal of 50k subscribers by the end of the year (and beyond!).
Playlist of all of my full length makeover videos: • Trash to Treasure and ...
If you want to see more furniture flips, some other AMAZING furniture flippers I know are: ‪@ChristinaMuscari‬ ‪@KachaFurniture‬ ‪@salvagedbykscott‬ ‪@whitecottagecompany‬ ‪@AshleighLaurenCrafts‬ ‪@BellaRenovare‬

This former social welfare worker thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't tell you how great the need is for foster children, and how greatful we are for your service The Child Welfare system is far over burden. However, with supportive Foster parents (and others) who are going beyond the distance, some children, among the thousands, are given a chance. Can't say THANK YOU enough. God bless.

I did that too with a few who had goals and wanted to do something for their future. I am sorry to say that many of the girls just wanted to be free to have their boyfriends stay with them so they didn’t take advantage of our offers. Sadly the boyfriends were mostly lazy bums who were just looking for a needy girl to support them with her welfare money. So many kids raised in the foster care system are so desperate for a forever love relationship that they are easy prey. This was in California and the child welfare system had very bad program of moving kids every 6 months. They strongly discouraged the foster parents from bonding with the kids and from maintaining contact with them. I watched most of the little kids develop a failure to be able to bond. After seeing so many kids lives ruined by their time in foster care, I started to have wonderful dreams about killing social workers with my bare hands. I took that as a sign that it was time to stop taking any new kids and transition out myself. I am still touch with a few of the kids. Well they are now in their 30’s and doing well. Sadly I don’t know what became of the rest.

I haven't even watched the video yet and I subcribed. What you are doing is so sweet. I know that the majority of kids transitioning have minimal hope for their future. My church is starting Level Up classes for youth 17--25. We will be teaching many useful things like finance, constitutional rights, food safty, how to maintain your car, how to debate, how to buy a car, and many other "Adulting 101" information. I was lucky to have been scrolling you tube and came accross your channel. Thank you! I will add reaching out to "aged out" foster care youths to our group.

I just started the video and you've just gotten the primer on the mirror frame. This is a great time saver. I got 3 of those flexible plastic cutting boards from mom when she went into assisted living. I don't like them I like cutting on an actual wood cutting/bread board. But I found if there's enough gap, I can slide them between the frame and the glass, and there is no glass cleanup. Very heavy paper or thin cardboard will do the same, but It's usually not reusable. Back to the video....I love your stuff! You also just inspired me because I've been painting furniture for a long time, but it never occurred to me to do it for young adults aging out of foster care. God bless!

Loved every single one❣️ especially the washstand one you painted blue but also left some of the original wood in such a creative way. The most surprising “after” were the Christmas trees. The bench was so adorable with the yellow paint, the fabric, & the pompom trim. Really, tho, all of them were fabulous! Very soothing music. You sped up the footage & kept it normal speed at just the right times. Thank you for recording.

My brother and his wife are involved in foster care, they’ve adopted over a dozen children. Love your cause! The green bench with the purple underside (!) is coming out spectacular! Go you!! (I probably would have used E6000 glue along with the hot glue to put the yellow frill on, just FYI for next time you can use the hot glue to hold immediately but the E6000 hardly never fails). I’m such a coward I wouldn’t have considered painting any but the bench and lamps. But it all looks so lovely! Love the stained touches you added! I really enjoyed how you made the drywall on the planters seem seamless and one piece, excellent corner work. Pls give your puppers some sugar from me!

If you can imagine, the day after I typed that, I popped into our fabric store and they also sell certain thicknesses of foam, and an employee was cutting foam lengths for a client and she (the employee LOL) whips out and old electric knife and was cutting 6-7 pieces for the client and this OLD electric knife went through it like “butta”!. It was a blast to watch and now I want to use an old one I have and just start carving foam like and Ice Sculpture! Looked like my way and hers were lightening years apart!.
