GNR and Slash was what finally made me want to REALLY start playing the guitar. Sure, other bands made me want to play before that, but Slash was the absolute "OK, Guitar, NOW!" feeling!

Funny thing is, you can make this exact video everyday of the week with the same title and different songs..because there are so many riffs that make me want to play lol. I like the comedic additions you have in your videos. Great video, Great riff picks too.
my ten would be... 1) plug in baby muse 2) Orion metallica 3) heart shaped box nirvana 4) Dumpweed blink 182 5) lateralus tool 6) spoonman Soundgarden 7) New Born Muse 8) sooner or later breaking Benjamin 9) smells like teen spirit nirvana 10) One Metallica 9)
Robert you are a big reason I pick up my axe daily. You have the personality of one who is always cool, even tempered and probably a pleasure to hang with. Better yet --to JAM with!!!
Heavy Metal features one of Hagar's greatest riffs. Also, Montrose's Rock Candy, which of course features Sammy on vocals, always makes me want to pick up my guitar.
it was nice seeing gypsy road in there haven't heard that in for ever.. long cold winter used to be one of my jams too back in the day. An G n R an AC/DC if that don't make ya wanna jam idk what will.. Kansas an Sammy are no slouches either.. great video Rob..
Hey Man your videos are great! Curious what your amp settings are for this video and if you are using any effects. I like the tone you are using on the LP
The 2nd half of the song main riff gets me pumped! But also, every riff except the verse riff on ashes in your mouth, all of tornado of souls, washington is next and the killing road are the riffs that never fail to get me going
That intro started out sounding just like Black Shuck by The Darkness. Lovin' that Night Train though. That and My Michelle are my go to Guitar Center riffs. Thx Baker!
I was jammin with a buddy at his house and the cops showed up and told him he had turn it down or they would have to give him a ticket. So he walked out on the porch with his Guitar still plugged in and said this ones for you guys and rocked a little something... then he says Next Time, Just Put The Ticket In The Mail Box .... they said thanks Lou and left ... no ticket !
this dude has the exact same taste as me a couple years ago. now i'm into heavier things (slipknot, a7x, sabaton, hsb, mushroomhead, disturbed...) but always enjoy hard rock and heavy metal
Great riffs, but the dive bomb in between riffs is what really got me. I grabbed all my gear, quit my job,and hit the road. Practicality be damned !!!!!
hey man, you're pretty good. everybody does popular songs that are heard on the radio still today. will you please do tutorials on how to play obscure glam metal songs like, "Lonesome Fool" by Canadian glam metal band called Salty Dog, and "True Believer" by Lillian Axe, and "Candy Song" by Masters of Reality (nothing to do with Black Sabbath), and "Keep the Spirit Alive" by Killer Dwarfs.
