@@Dinoman972those announce themselves when summoned. These little.. were placed perfectly. It let me know they care about your experience. Ladders, a group that hangs next to a dragon, any safe/choke point you need for a second probably has a rock hitting that last bit of health, send you careen of the side of a cliff and worse, they aggro just like everything else. Their speedy roll makes them a presence even during your retreat.

These guys burned me alive more times then I should have ever been burned trying to farm twinkling titanite from them lol

I just started a new DS3 run and completely forgot about these guys. It’s amazing how many times they were so close to death and then several of them roll attack at the same time and just absolutely melt some of these bosses!!!

Yeah, but Malenia being broken af with having every single power... no chance. Aoe kills smaller things innthese videos. Healing keeps her alive to kill other bosses. I actually thought Midir being the tank he is had taken Malenia down, but nope. Malenia's healing if added to her health makes he also the Queen of health.

Only Gael, Yhorm and Midir can handle Elden Ring Bosses and they will even lose to Maliketh, Malenia and Rykard. All other DS3 bosses get crushed by ER.

@@pinkvillafantasy Your not entirely correct And two the bigger bosses of Dark Souks 3 have harder times because they fight stronger things and the AIs then go underneath the bosses

@@Exeternal_Beyonder_Of_Doomsday Yhorm may have a hard time hitting his targets, but his huge hp allows him to survive almost any fight regardless. Midir has no issue hitting any boss.

Nah you did NOT wanna fight three at any given time. They stunlock and get into a rhythm. Lots of health and they were tanky as shit. Like literally chipping away at rocks. And they were effective enough to embarrass your high leveled character by that point as well depending on the gank setup. I usually had to lure one away from the bunch and even then it was shooting it's shot through whatever attack you were throwing out just to get one or two in depending on your windup at the time so you're most likely taking damage during up close and personal melee.

@@dudeman7826Hydras were always considered a lesser descendant of the everlasting dragons when talking about dark souls. Although elden ring dragons seem to wield lightning, so the everlasting dragon’s immortality isn’t too much to rely on either.

I'll be honest with everyone in the replies, its because I don't consider Elden Ring and any of its characters good/well developed, not even barely decent, for me it was an huge drop in quality in Fromsoft games, everything in it feels dumbed down compared to Demon Souls, Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne and Sekiro, the lore is terribly terrible, I only finished it once out of spite because I couldn't get a refund on it anymore due to Steam policies(I fell into the hype trap, pre-ordered the deluxe edition as soon as it became "pre-purchasable", hell, even gifted the standard edition to a friend of mine because he is a Fromsoft aficionado the same way I am), but thankfully since then, I have restored my faith in Fromsoft's capability of developing a game with challenging gameplay and great lore with Armored Core 6 and learned a valuable lesson, you can pre-purchase a game, but only do it 1 week TOPS before it launches(I do it usually 1 day before it launches, that saved me money more time than I can count ever since haha)

The roll attack has a lot of hitboxes per frame, but as a player it hits you only once as it knocks you down. Getting knocked down gives you some recovery i-frames to ignore the rest of the attack. Bosses don't get knocked down, so they tank ALL the hitboxes of the attack, which I suppose would be 60 hits per second if the game runs at 60 FPS.

Think of it like a circular saw. If you got hit once, you'd recoil and back away, right? Now imagine the boss as inanimate objects, like a block of wood or a chunk of rocks. Once they got hit, they can't back away, since they're inanimate objects, they had to keep taking damage from said saw until they got split.
