Manuel Barrientos That was the whole point of their comment. They could see it, that’s why they said it “transcends any language” because any mother, whether it be human or animal, when it loses its baby/ child will be distraught and we can feel their pain of losing that child.
Unless they have a reason like anger or shock its usually just insecurity. Or a deep habbit. But for most its rooted in insecurity and fear of rejection from the pack.
The last clip with the otter has me in tears. It's like, in the moment she was so scared that she didn't realize her baby was gone forever, and when she was safe reality hit her. 😭😭😭
Ikr, I'm in fkn Tears right now. It's Gut Wrenching, Especially if you have a Child/Children of your Own. I'm so Upset I don't even wanna watch Any more of these videos 😱😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭☹😮😖
Animals don't really "realize" things in that way. I say this not to be cold but hope that comforts you to some degree. She will forget her pup fairly quickly.
@@paneas8879 I'm not denying that animals experience emotion, what im saying is we have a tendency to over anthropomorphise organisms that are categorically mamillinn. The complex circuitry required to experience "realizations" is a birdsnest of nurons that appears to load heavily on the organisms ability to be self aware. What came first the thought or the action? The reality is the action is first. Even man acted before having the cognative ability to contimplate or plan.
The child would have died anyway, otters are known cannibals who commonly eat their offspring as well as other species offspring. They also kill for sport and are known for being among the most savage of wild animals. When you really look close, you can see that the otters are no better if not worse than the killer whales who are known to be caring toward their offspring. In fact, some mother whales will stay with their offspring till death.
Its even worse to know sea otters, unlike giant and river otters who can have up to 5 in a litter, only have one pup in a litter. My heart goes out to that sweet little otter....
I wish I had a time machine so I can let that momma otter use it to bring her kid back but kill those whales, endangered or not I wanted to just hurt those whales like the way they hurt that pup or the way they hurt the mommas heart OR THE WAY THEY TRIED HURTING THE MOMMA😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😖😣😔😟😣
@@mexamrc true! Your right carnivores eat anything they need to survive! That's how life evolved and nothing can abide the laws set by nature. Still that crying otter was depressing as fuck!!

I’m a boy and I feel bad for the mother Otter and for her baby. I asked my mom can she imagine stuff like that happening to me? She would be just as heartbroken like the Otter.
Anyone who truly doesnt have a heart is a sick puppy. Thing is evil has a way with faking all sorts of emotions and sometimes a good man is not able to shed a tear so easily. In other words sometimes it's those who are crying first who have less of a heart than they would like you to know. It takes wisdom to see.
Those blokes didnt intentionally, however, they somewhat interfered with nature. Who is to know that these orcas didnt have a hungry & weak calf close by. With towing mama otter away the orcas possibly could not sustain their calf and they ended up having to endure a MUCH more intelligent & harrowing heartbreak while their young orca starves and drowns.
LISA - You're 100% right. I knew that mama otter. She was a single mom working 7 nights a week at a strip club while taking cosmetology classes to better her life.
Man I wanted to cry when I heard momma otter calling for her baby unfortunately this probably happens daily sharing the water with the world's apex predator
I was in the military for 10 yrs, and have seen and heard a lot of things, I became a firefighter after I left the army. I have to say that nothing has ever brought me to tears until your video of that poor momma sea otter loosing her pup and making those calls for him or her. I guess it’s true, you do get more sensitive with age, I really do enjoy your video commentary though, thanx.
Laurie Ross thats awesome I served in the army as well (82nd/504th pir) and I also became a firefighter after my service. And yes that otter video was heartbreaking Godspeed to you, hooah. 🇺🇸
I definitely did. It doesn't matter the species you can hear the longing for her babe, and she keeps looking around for it. Ugh. It got me in the feel goods. 😥
@@magnushewalo5444 I don't trust any body of water where I can't see the bottom. The aquatic animals can see you. But you can't see them. Freaks me out.
That poor killer whale didn't get the food she or he needed.. mind you they're far more intelligent than some otters anyways.. that would be like us humans feeling bad for the millions of cows and pigs and chickens we kill every day oh oops lol
i sobbed like crazy hearing her cries oh it hurts to know her baby is gone and shes crying out for her baby hoping her baby cries back but we all know the baby isnt gonna cry back its sad.
@@Deadhammer218 well its pretty obvious... If someone was trying to kill you god forbid, you would not call them back over to where you were hiding.... But if you had a child with you, you would most certainly want to know where they had gone...
@@PnkSamurai00 She was calling the whales, I study Oceanology and when Otters lose their children, after the adrenaline goes away they don't want to live, but how do you kill yourself in ocean when you're an Otter? You tell me. She was calling for the whales to eat her.. :(
Your layout makes me unnecessarily pissed. Now I’ve gotta dive in the other comments that have it line by line, crisp and neat lmao. Prob made your comment on the phone but not sideways.
poor sweetie, that she lost her little one is a tragedy, but the fact that she went looking for it and calling for it - that's heart breaking. Oh that hurts the heart. And now I'm crying. Nature can be a real cold hearted bitch sometimes and I think these orcas would have survived just fine without one otter, it wasn't even full size so it's not like it was much of a meal. Poor momma.
uuuuummm, hate to brake it to ya, but killer whales some times like to 'play' with there food. even letting it think its safe/free to go before charging back to divoure it. so it may actual be true that they eat the pup first to be sadistic.
Thanks for making me bawl. I'm a sucker for animals... even the smallest of spiders, but when the mama Otter was calling for her baby, my heart felt her pain. Thank God the guys were there with their boat, and yes, Orcas have to eat too - but gut wrenching to watch just the same. On a positive note, not too long ago, my 14 year old son saved a baby duckling that was crying for its mama. It had fallen into a storm drain. He rescued it and it was happily joined back with its mama and siblings. I try to teach him to respect any animal no matter how big or small, but I still bawl!!!!
Us humans wilfully decides on what deserves to live and what doesn't, then we'd feel sad for those who "deserves" if misery falls apon them, while we laughs on those who "doesn't deserves" when the misery falls apon them. But for humans, we'd be glad if someone succeeds, be overjoyed when they achieve a great achievement, and be rolling on floor laughing when misery falls apon them.
Also, I knew Orcas were killers, but I never knew they sadistic. The mamma otter screaming, and poking her head under searching for her pup is heartbreaking no matter how scary nature can be.
choccy 0 I'm usually a troll and laugh at things that shouldn't be laughed at but this definetly broke my heart. I mean I do have a heart but that touched me
