I'm actually pretty bummed out that I never got to film this when it was original. This used to be a Monty with A-Series and a dry-powered motor EXACTLY identical to the one that the elevator at Downtown Plaza used to have. That elevator was what started my interest in elevators all those years ago. Unfortunately, it no longer exists, and I've since been trying to find a Monty with a motor just like that one. WELP! Looks like I was too late. This new elevator is still cool. Mitsubishi did the mod and the new motor is EPIC! And WOW a 10 SECOND startup!!! I still wished it was original though.
