Hi Sam, thank you so much for taking the time and energy to share. Great apps! I also loved your comment regarding the Flappy Bird Game, "Unless you were born 5 years ago" I hear very similar comments on a daily basis from my kids. For anyone over 7, the cell phone is a body part . As a senior, working with children from my extra large house, hip clips simply never work and I'm usually too busy to respond. I figure if it's important they'll call back. It's unfortunate for those who expect that I have that extra body part. Some get downright nasty - lol! It's literally impossible to hear the ringing. I feel lucky to find it leaving the house. I have Google Voice with six handsets. I prefer the connection, although 5G has helped. I have senior reading issues and prefer to use the desk PC or the laptop. Wait till they see my new wallpaper! thanks again.
I love your video format. I use samsung note 10+ and when i watch in full screen it is actually real full screen without croping any part of the video. Hope all video can do this fornat!
The reason I'm a long android user is because you can still install apps easily that google won't allow on your phone. But when I was using an iPhone I had to jailbreak it to sideload apps.
Can you advise me how to do this? Motorola Edge 2021 has about 7 apps that are blacked out and it says on the bottom it can't be changed because these apps are dependent on the phone system including the software update, camera uses Google photos to open the camera! I'm furious that they are controlling something that I have to pay for! Motorola sold there soul
Alternatively, you can download Aurora Droid from F-Droid in order to get a version of F-Droid with a better UI. And speaking of Aurora, you can download Aurora Store from F-Droid (or your newly acquired Aurora Droid) to have an open source version of the Google Play Store.
Thanks to the RU-vid algorithm, found your channel just watched two videos and instantly subscribed, wonderfull content brother!! Hoping that you reach 1M Subscribers soon!!
Aye, I'm just some random guy in your chat but... Newpips kinda been replaced with the much better RU-vid Vanced also tachiyomi is fantstic, keepass dx is the best password manager i've ever used, tor browser is cool for privacy, and github is FULL of amazing FOSS apps to check out.
Might also be fun to have one that has themes for 4th of July … Christmas with snow and I’m in codachrome or black and white wearing a fake beard and the skyscape is the andromeda galaxy around my body ..
More apps not on Playstore: - Tachiyomi (version by J2K is better) - Manga Reader - Aurora Droid - Beautiful F-Droid client bei Aurora OSS - Corona Tracer - GMS-less version of CWA for Germany (and some other countries in the EU). - YMusic - When you buy RU-vid Music on wish (still a good app, but has a outdated interface and feels slow)
Guys need some recommendation about which launcher to use. I've been using lawnchair 2 for years and now got android 11 update on redmi note 9s and that has disabled the gestures on third party launchers. Used Fluid navigation gestures app but it's so sluggish.
Excellent video !! Thanks.. I’m actually going to use ‘vector camera ‘ when I want to send a live video response ‘ to a friend who texts me with a question. It will of course freak them tf out when I appear in iridescent blue radiating pulses of green , red and orange ..but hey ,, I want some reaction factor 🙏 when I answer their questions or just wish them well
Flappy Bird is available on the Google Playstore, just not to everyone.. 1:47 is partially correct, I still play the OG game & if you had downloaded and played the game back when it was launched it stays in your Google Playstore library, I can easily access it through my Gmail acc on PlayStore & have downloaded it on multiple android devices even my current latest 1+ you also get Google play achievement support. So if you've downloaded it back then & have access to the account check out your app library in the playstore its definitely going to be there all the way down somewhere if you had downloaded it in the past & are certain of the account being the same.
TapTap is an app that adds backtap functionality to any android phone, much like how apple introduced the backtap feature on iOS 14. Surprisingly, it works extremely well.
Hey Sam, I remember you made a complete camera comparison within pixel devices. Can you make a video comparing the astrophotography mode within all pixel devices, that too after the release of ( pixel 5a, 6, 6a - idk the name of those....). If you are gonna do a video on this please capture all the photos in very dark place ( so dark so that we should be able to see the milky way ). I hope U'll read this comment and make a video ☺️
Thanks for all that information very good you must spend ages on your phone to find it all so how about the Samsung Dex apps that will run on Dex? that Samsung doesn't provide or recommend
Sideappsbar, best side bar for apps and it's unlimited no ads and no payments. Way better than Samsung imo and ones on the play store. The latest one is 6.0.1, but sadly it's not update anymore. But it still works on A11
You deserves lot more credit than your getting now for the effort you are putting into your videos. I have already told almost all my friends to subscribe to your channel
Aurora is the best fdroid client, also it has a play store client where u don't need to login google account to access play store. Tho u may need root for some features
One thing you need to stop saying is that some apps are "not allowed" on Google Play. Some of the developers simply mght not _want_ their app on GPlay. Just because it isn't there, doesn't mean it's because Google placed that restriction.
No Google has a bunch of restrictions and I've been fighting about having my own contacts, dialer and messages! I should be able to use what I want especially since it only saves to the device and the phone app won't let me have a call without interfering with the app! Sounds like you work for them 🤣
Hi Sam, how are you? Can you make a video tutorial on how to configure the "autodark" app for wallpaper scheduler in light mode and dark mode? I already tried other similar apps, but in my OP 9 Pro, all the status bar info and drawer pointer becomes white, which is annoying, since I'm using the same wallpaper as you from "Canoopsy". It seems OP system adequates the color of the status bar for light wallpapers in light mode, and for dark mode, and "autodark" seems to do the trick, but setting up "autodark" seems difficult and I'm afraid to brick my phone. Can you help me on this matter? Keep up the good work! 😉
check 1) fooview 2) FloatingMenu - Assistive Touch by xkqxx 3) QuickShortcutMaker by sika524 4) Shortcut Maker by Rushikesh 5) sesame these apps together make wonders 6) mix file explorer (not available on play store)
well, for all fellow Huawei users out there, Newpipe isn't really a new app. It's really good RU-vid alternative beside RU-vid Vanced. I've been using it for quite a while and frankly, I kinda like it better than RU-vid Vanced.
Next time can you find an exact copy of ios 14 (i mean the app icon size, the correct distance between each app and from sides, the new app library, the search thing, etc). Of course i can buy an iphone for the software, but iphone have so many limitations. All the apps in the playstore are crap. Pls find a good one.
Instander is a better Instagram client for those who like the design of original app but want added functions (saving posts/stories, hide if you viewed a message/post, full screen stories, etc.)
I can see a Mi 11 series phone lurking in the bg 👀👀 I'm so happy that you'll finally be trying a Xiaomi device which has tons of customisation options.
