I think these interactive viewpoints are the results of some graphics designers that were really proud of their work lol. As they should be. The landscape scenery is beautiful in this game.
@@MrBensawsomeif only little kids, wannabe hood rats and try hards were into nature, hunting and history instead of flexing, griefing and being toxic to each other. RDR2 doesn't appeal to Rockstar's main player demographic. Red Dead players don't buy gold bars, they don't mind the grind or need to have all the things right now. Its not fueled by envy-driven commercialism so Rockstar isn't making the $8,000,000,000 after sales like GTA. Maybe if they added a strip club and flying nuclear horse that fires dynamite arrows 😂.
once you've collected the loot/bird nest gems on the mountain and had a sit, or in another similar situation like the treasure on the cliff by Fort Wallace, the quickest and safest way to get down is just to make camp and it will transport you to a safe spot and your horce will be right there too
lol after getting those gold bars on the cliff near fort wallace I had no idea how to get down, ended up falling and dying accidentally. After respawning I immediately checked my inventory and saw that I still had the gold bars. From then on jumping to my death was my go-to exit strategy from these types of situations.
They sure came up with some great places to sit with spectacular views. Then you run across some that are the opposite, like the building at limpany with the gold bar, you can sit on the porch & look at the burned up town in all its glory lol
Little tip- kinda unrelated but the slower you walk the more you'll see. It may be something many people already realized...but i dont just mean your going so fast youll miss things...i mean even using eagle eye while galloping on your horse only about 50% of things will actually show up...either walk or ride your horse at the slowest pace and alot more plants/animals/hidden items/strangers will show up. Just trying to help cuz many people fly thru this game like gta which you obviously can but its not meant to be played that way imo. Just throwing it out there.
Great Video series. I am in my 3rd playthrough of the RDR2 story and I am trying to find as close to 100% as possible. I don't wanna cheat but there are some things I didn't even know existed... like the gemstones... and a couple rock carvings I couldn't find. I Don't like the snowy mountains, something about that area makes me feel anxious. I never explored there much til now. I been hanging out in Chapter 2 for months now, exploring the map and collecting everything. I finally helped the people build their house in Valentine. Last time I accidentally drew my gun on the man and he wouldn't talk to me anymore 😂
Sometimes I feel an anxiety playing particularly in empty areas because i know its going to take a minute to get back to civilization, and also because it takes a while to perform actions like picking herbs and skinning animals, and riding somewhere.
@@johnf817 maybe thats what it is... cus I feel kinda anxious in the desert too. I am always expecting that damn cougar to appear outta nowhere 🤣. Maybe its residual noob fear lol. Like how people end up afraid of spiders from a single incident as a child.
RDR2 is by far the best game I've played and I've been a gamer since the beginning - Early to Mid '80's - it's crazy to look back and see how far gaming has come, the graphics quality and cpu capability is amazing in a relatively short amount of time.....I remember the original Pong, which was basically a few lines and a dot but back then it was a great game and was one of the games to start it all imo.....Kids these days don't realise just how good they've got it, all they do is moan and say games are crap because they can't do something in-game or there's a slight judder or screen tear etc. etc.....Talk about spoilt much !! Anyway, RockStar annoyed me though, because I don't understand how they can spend all that time, money and effort, using all those people to act and flesh-out such a vast detailed world and story then just abandon it, instead of continuing to support and build on it like they have done with GTAV for the past 10yrs.....They didn't even give RDR2 1yr ffs.....It's a MASSIVE waste of the best open world ever made !! Alright, they have added some things to the online version but it's been half-hearted content at best, when they could've done soo much more with it.....and they know it !! RDR2 should've had numerous expansions released for both the campaign and online versions, they could've finished fleshing-out New Austin properly for the campaign whilst adding quality bank robberies and train heist missions / stories etc. etc. for us to play in both the campaign and online.....They're just the first things that jumped to mind of many things they could've done and I really wish they did. They made such a quality open world to explore and play in.....I don't see why they wouldn't want to keep working on it, making it even better than it is already.....It's a damn shame and makes no sense !?!?
everytime i tried to sit on the first location (i think i tried 3 or 4 times), as soon as the command was pressed, arthur sat down and it started sounding like he was sliding down the cliff... when i got out of the sitting position, he got up and started sliding without me moving an inch
