This guy has been uploading great karate content for years! Very grateful that he decides to upload on RU-vid for all to watch! Could easily be charging big money for seminars.!
simply you are the best. I am 40 years old and I am practicing karate again now after 28 years of stopping. (Black belt 11years old 😅,on top in Algeria )Your videos are helping me a lot to remember. I am very grateful. Thank you💙
Thanks soo much Jason ..just like ur other followers im also practising karate after 20 years and all ur videos helps me tremendously. Im currently a red belt Please put a video with drills to prepare us for brown belt. Much appreciated ur a star
This is a very high-quality video production. Well done, sir! During my competition years (mid-1980s) I used to practice similar drills, taking kata sections and just workin' em! When I first started training, at 17, my instructor had us do a similar drill as #1. My knees would swell quite a bit afterward but at 17, I wasn't aware that it was probably something I shouldn't be doing. So, if you have any knee issues, I'd recommend against this drill or just don't bend the knees any more than what kiba dachi would require. IMHO, of course. There is a reason baseball catchers have terrible knees! Also, with the #4 drill, make sure your mae geri is performed correctly before adding the mawashi geri. When one is thinking of mawashi geri too soon, there is a tendency to lose the mae geri form.

Hello Jason I discovered your channel 1 week ago and already seen all your videos I m here to ask you if you r gonna do a tutorial for the 4 katas that we imported in the shotokan karate (sayan chin gankaku sho etc) thanks for your work
Love your videos. These 10 drills allows me to improve my flexibility and improves kata as well. And can be Taught to lower and intermediate level students. Thanks, Sensei
Hello, can you make a video and explain the difference between a kimono aproved kata tokaido and kamikaze and hirota and sheriedo and arawaz and dae do and kihon and burd nord and the other kimono And what is the coolest among them in sound and evaluate it, thank you
Thanks for the video, awesome and helpful. I'm red belt, but now I'm training with some black belts. Could you make some green drills too? Think some viewers, like me, are not black belt =) And... come here Suparinpei, I aim at you. Thanks, Sensei!
Great! for kata as well I loved these drills and they are useful for kime, of course but also, for kata as well. A great warm up to begin a class. Thank you Sensei JASON.
The first is a good for nothing drill. It puts unnecessary pressure on the knees. You will soon lose them along the way very easily and your karate effort will go out the window.
@@ULTIMATEKARATEOFFICIAL alrighty thanks,i rlly love it but is very hard for me but il do it bcz i cant understand the basic poses and I'm not flexible anyway thanks for answering.Oss!
Karate is not for older folks..my knees hurt just from watching the video. It is not an art to be started later in life sadly. At 63 ( me) my Sensei ( Tai Chi) just laughed when I told him I was interested in trying Kyoshin Karate. He trained under Mas Oyama.
