Jeez. I hate seeing these kinds of comments. They're so fucking exhausting to read. People who are giving likes to comments like these are only going to subconsciously make themselves even more insecure. Can you people just stop with these pessimistic comments? Joking is another story, but making it sound so casual like it's okay is NOT okay.

My mom doesn’t know I have insecurities and sometimes she says “That doesn’t look good on you go change” “Put some makeup on you will look prettier” “Why can’t you be like the other girls?!” And it just hurts....I know she doesn’t know that she’s doing this to me and she doesn’t mean it but it’s hard to think that way

I'm actually insecure about my curves. Not only I have a pear body shape (skinny, but still-) I also see some girls on tiktok who have defined waistline and perfect curves, why don't I have them too 😭😭😭😭 it makes me think I have a gap somewhere, even my classmates insult me telling me they thought I get beaten up a lot just cause I have dark circles or they call me a skeleton, or by even my sister who tells me I don't exercise correctly...

Kayla Kate 1. by being grateful for what you have. Do this every single morning and evening, you have to reprogram your subconscious mind to a gratitude state. In the morning and evening are the best time to influence your subconscious state because it’s switching between the different brain waves and theta is the state when you can influence it. This is why people listen to affirmations in the morning and in the evening right before going to bed. 2. Spend time with friends who uplift you. It’s so important to surround yourself with the right people and who bring the best out of you. 3. Prepare yourself for failures. I think one of the reasons why you have self doubt is also because when someone judges you, which reaffirms your believes (self doubt). The truth is, all of us WILL have haters. It doesn’t matter how good you are. These haters will be there either because they hate themselves or they are jealous of you. It might be the truth, but the way they say it and express it might be quite hurtful. So, you have to find ways to deal with that. For me, knowing that I will die someday has helped me the most. This is how I go about things. First, I define my objective + why. Then I set an intention HOW I want to go about it and last but not least having the death scenario inside my head Incase I get rejected, failed or criticized or whatever and ask myself “how I’m feeling right now, would it matter if I knew I’m going to die next week?” If your intentions were good in the first place then you know that you can only be happy because that’s how you wanted to go about it. You wanted to spread love and joy, but if someone got offended then that is not your fault. You can only gauge the situation afterwards and adapt what needs to be adjusted. 4. I also try to avoid these 4 states (hunger, anger, loneliness and tiredness) in these states we are vulnerable and that means that the ego might take over and make us feel bad. The tricky part is that, it’s so believable that you think that omg, this is true and you do suck. Be careful. Try to remind yourself of this that when you are hungry for instance, your ego will take over and that you are in a vulnerable state. This is the reason why people always say “sleep on it” when you are tired because you can’t make good decisions when you are tired. 5. Journal. I journal every morning and evening. At least I try to :) there you will see which thought patterns come up and which ones benefit you and which don’t. It’s amazing how journaling has affected my life. You have 75000 thoughts per day (still can’t believe how much that is!) and so, in order to really know what is helping us reach our goals and not, we gotta analyze these thoughts by hitting them down on a piece of paper and really see what we are saying to ourselves and being really analytical. WHY are these thoughts here? Are they TRUE? WHAT can I do to make it better? 6. Work on something that you are good at or passionate about. When you have something that you are working on then it also builds confidence because you are getting better at it. Competent -> confidence. Now, your self doubt might be holding you back, in that case go back to number 2 and have a friend compliment you, which will give you a reason to do it. Get LEVERAGE and see what works for YOU. 7. Purpose. If you don’t know it yet then try as many things as possible. We are all here on this planet to do something. It’s what fulfills you. This doesn’t have to be your job or career if that’s not your case, but perhaps being the best friend someone can ever wish for or being the best mother or sister. I don’t know, again, you have to figure this out on your own. Don’t rush into it and don’t compare yourself to others because... 8. You have your OWN timeline. Perhaps you are having insecurities and self doubt because you are comparing yourself to others too much. You are UNIQUE. Nobody is like you. You know that I actually damaged my vocal cords because I wanted to sound like Ed Sheeran? And now, I want my old voice back. You will value something more once it’s gone. 9. Self acceptance. You want to have more. More beauty, more money, more of something, but it all starts with NOW. Be ok with who you are RIGHT NOW because that’s all you have. All what will happen in the future depends on NOW. Ok, Kayla, I’ve given you many points and it might be overwhelming and perhaps you don’t know where to start. I would say start with gratitude. Do this every morning and evening and really feel it. If you say that you can’t be grateful for anything then compare yourself to the ones who DONT have what you do. I know I said that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others, but when you realize how much you actually have by just being YOU, you will know how precious your life actually is. I actually have a RU-vid channel concerning self confidence and self esteem and I’m documenting my own journey how I’m becoming my best self. As an aspiring artist, this is one of the traits I have the hardest time controlling. I can't stop thinking about the consequences of failure or if people hate my art...my insecurities tend to get so bad, that my passion for art and even all the things that make me happy fades away faster than I can rebuild them...

I found myself being so accurately described that I feel so guilty. But sometimes, honestly, I couldn't face the fear of my image being shattered to the eyes of someone. I couldn't overcome the fear of being judged by anyone. I really felt the need to please everyone so I can avoid neative judgement and to always be praised.

Michael Wallace . by being grateful for what you have. Do this every single morning and evening, you have to reprogram your subconscious mind to a gratitude state. In the morning and evening are the best time to influence your subconscious state because it’s switching between the different brain waves and theta is the state when you can influence it. This is why people listen to affirmations in the morning and in the evening right before going to bed. 2. Spend time with friends who uplift you. It’s so important to surround yourself with the right people and who bring the best out of you. 3. Prepare yourself for failures. I think one of the reasons why you have self doubt is also because when someone judges you, which reaffirms your believes (self doubt). The truth is, all of us WILL have haters. It doesn’t matter how good you are. These haters will be there either because they hate themselves or they are jealous of you. It might be the truth, but the way they say it and express it might be quite hurtful. So, you have to find ways to deal with that. For me, knowing that I will die someday has helped me the most. This is how I go about things. First, I define my objective + why. Then I set an intention HOW I want to go about it and last but not least having the death scenario inside my head Incase I get rejected, failed or criticized or whatever and ask myself “how I’m feeling right now, would it matter if I knew I’m going to die next week?” If your intentions were good in the first place then you know that you can only be happy because that’s how you wanted to go about it. You wanted to spread love and joy, but if someone got offended then that is not your fault. You can only gauge the situation afterwards and adapt what needs to be adjusted. 4. I also try to avoid these 4 states (hunger, anger, loneliness and tiredness) in these states we are vulnerable and that means that the ego might take over and make us feel bad. The tricky part is that, it’s so believable that you think that omg, this is true and you do suck. Be careful. Try to remind yourself of this that when you are hungry for instance, your ego will take over and that you are in a vulnerable state. This is the reason why people always say “sleep on it” when you are tired because you can’t make good decisions when you are tired. 5. Journal. I journal every morning and evening. At least I try to :) there you will see which thought patterns come up and which ones benefit you and which don’t. It’s amazing how journaling has affected my life. You have 75000 thoughts per day (still can’t believe how much that is!) and so, in order to really know what is helping us reach our goals and not, we gotta analyze these thoughts by hitting them down on a piece of paper and really see what we are saying to ourselves and being really analytical. WHY are these thoughts here? Are they TRUE? WHAT can I do to make it better? 6. Work on something that you are good at or passionate about. When you have something that you are working on then it also builds confidence because you are getting better at it. Competent -> confidence. Now, your self doubt might be holding you back, in that case go back to number 2 and have a friend compliment you, which will give you a reason to do it. Get LEVERAGE and see what works for YOU. 7. Purpose. If you don’t know it yet then try as many things as possible. We are all here on this planet to do something. It’s what fulfills you. This doesn’t have to be your job or career if that’s not your case, but perhaps being the best friend someone can ever wish for or being the best mother or sister. I don’t know, again, you have to figure this out on your own. Don’t rush into it and don’t compare yourself to others because... 8. You have your OWN timeline. Perhaps you are having insecurities and self doubt because you are comparing yourself to others too much. You are UNIQUE. Nobody is like you. You know that I actually damaged my vocal cords because I wanted to sound like Ed Sheeran? And now, I want my old voice back. You will value something more once it’s gone. 9. Self acceptance. You want to have more. More beauty, more money, more of something, but it all starts with NOW. Be ok with who you are RIGHT NOW because that’s all you have. All what will happen in the future depends on NOW. Ok, Michael, I’ve given you many points and it might be overwhelming and perhaps you don’t know where to start. I would say start with gratitude. Do this every morning and evening and really feel it. If you say that you can’t be grateful for anything then compare yourself to the ones who DONT have what you do. I know I said that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others, but when you realize how much you actually have by just being YOU, you will know how precious your life actually is. Insecurity is a huge issue that accurs in literally everyone's life. Insecurity could be a stepping stone for depression, social anxiety, self harm and suiside in extreme cases. It should never be overlooked as it is now, and this video brings to light the true seriousness of self hate. Please continue to make more videos like this.

The thing about overextending and losing yourself further to fulfill other people’s happiness is something that really resonates. I just always end up feeling like I owe the other person something for them just being with me. And I end up trying to make things good for them at my own expense. And I’ve just begun to realize that. It makes me feel really drained and empty and inadequate at the end of the day and I just don’t really know how to fix it.

@@MindNow Well, I do, but I don't. On the case of perfectionism, I try to redirect it in a healthy direction instead of an unhealthy direction. For a lot of the others, since I don't have a proper plan yet, I tend to ball it up to vent out later, through gaming, reading, etc.

i'm insecure about body image, being liked by others, thriving to be at the top of the game. yet, i'm not always at the top because i'm scared that my actions will affect how others will think of me. i wish i was more confident and comfortable with myself. until then, i slowly will start picking out what i like about myself and trying new things. eventually, i will become myself; unapologetically myself.

Since I started watching your videos I decided to make my own way through depression. It made me understand all of these hurtful things like traumas, toxic people and anxiety I've been dealing with in the past. I'm doing better but still have some of my old demons left. *Insecurities always stem from trauma..* - someone told you your nose shouldn’t look like that - you saw a picture from a model now you think you’re fat - you think you’re not smart enough compared to your friends These insecurites have 1 thing in common, they are perceptions.. not objective truths. See it for the lies they truly are. The truth is.. you are awesome.

@@zenldh Well, I already gave up. Multiple people told me to try fix it, but too much is bad and some of them can't be fixed. If no one in my private life can change me, you, especially someone from the internet, can't fix me.

Hi there! You don't know who I am and I don't know you, just wanted to tell you something real quick and try to not bother you for long. Have you ever heard of Kintsugi? It's the Japanese art of fixing broken things like pottery with gold and it's very beautiful. You can look it up on Google if you want. Now, why did I mention this? It's because sometimes we belive something is useless because it's broken and we want to throw it away. I myself have felt useless before, so you're not the only one. But we have to remember that even what is broken can be fixed. It'll take a lot of work, and pain, and it's won't be easy AT ALL, but in the end you'll be a beautiful piece of art that was once broken and is now filled with gold. Keep in mind that the pottery fixed with this technique still has cracks in it, just that they're now covered in gold. Same happens in our lives, we still have scars and memories from things that have happened, but if we manage to find things that fill us with joy and start moving on from the past those cracks will be covered up with happiness. Sorry if this comment bothered you, I don't want you to feel bad at all. I just wanted to try and help and maybe give you a little hope. @@s.gabriela It is not that easy, because the people who are making my life worse, are breaking the law. My problems are partly on the illegal side, you can't just smile and leave. It needs so much more than that. And definitely the police. I haven't done anything yet, so please don't take any actions without my consent, or you'll make things worse.

@@mikeyhamato2012 First off, I want to tell you that I will not take any action, I promise. I'm sorry that my previous comment didn't help, I didn't knew how delicate the situation was. I'll be honest, I don't really know how to help you here, I'm sorry. The only thing I can tell you is to not give up and to speak up so other people know what's happening and can help you. It's hard and you'll have to be very brave, but don't keep silence, especially if what those people are doing is hurting you and ruining your life. Okay, i know it's a lot easier written than done, and that you're probably in a very difficult situation that I'll never be able to relate to and won't be able to help you, I just want to try and give you some hope and remind you that every problem has a solution, even if we don't see it right now or if it seems impossible. That's what I belive. I'm deeply sorry for what you're going through, even though I don't know what it is, and I hope you one day manage to get out of that situation and overcome it. Just don't loose faith, please.

this made me cry, to be honest these past years ive been self diagnosing myself.. bipolar, depression, anxiety.. so much more. but i knew it wasnt right and it is really not the illness i have.. until lately i found myself being insecure on my boyfriend, i wasnt happy on his accomplisments nor my friends.. i really hope i can be better for myself and others.
