ABC means American or Australian Born Chinese. Really it's a term that fits any Chinese person born abroad in a westernized country. Being an ABC in many ways is a struggle ( we call it Displaced Asian Syndrome) because we don't perfectly fit into our adopted countries yet we're disconnected with our Chinese side as well.
