Thank you! I've learned so much from you over the years!! And this has been a great reminder and inspiration to stay faithful to my routine!! I'm 73 and my recommendation is "it's never too late" to take care of ourselves 💕
Your body is looking so good! Weight training and eating properly is essential for us older gals. So beneficial for joint, brain, mental health, better sleep...the list can go on and on.
Great tips as always. As one of those gals who prefer to remain needle- and knife-free, I so appreciate your channel -- living proof of what a great skin care routine can do. (So makes me giggle when people say you must have had botox or a facelift. 😄)
I'm 56 and I've learned it's never too late to start taking care of your skin. I've been on this skin care journey with you since the beginning of your channel and yes, my skin looks a lot better! I think your skin is absolutely gorgeous and you are such a beautiful woman on the outside, but also on the inside. Your positive attitude always make me smile and motivates me to be the best version of myself. ❤❤❤
I agree with all of your tips, May I add number 12? Drink water! Skin loves the hydration from within. I know Kimberly is a huge proponent of healthy eating, exercise AND drinks lots of water, I think all of these practices really show on her beautiful face. 😊
The best part of doing our nighttime skin care routine is that the products have more time to be absorbed by our skins instead of the pillows!! Great tips!!❤❤❤❤
Perfect video for my morning skincare routine. I’m almost 40, I find your channel super helpful so I hope it’s not just for ladies in their 50’s or 60’s
@@SewWhittle I just recently started and I have a long way to go. I’ve been frying in the sun since I remember. Tanning oils, tanning beds for years. Lived in tropical climate and didn’t wear sunscreen at all. I felt happiest the darker I was. I’m almost 40 but my skin looks so damaged and unhealthy. It’s going to take years to get where I want it to be. It’s not just my face but my chest, arms all covered with dark marks. I need a Time Machine
I feel too horrible about myself. I’ve taken care of my skin since I was 15, I’m just not pretty. Have been using tretinoin for 6 months. I’ve been exfoliating my face for years. I’m very pale and I like it.
I appreciate the tips. It’s nice to hear that you miss a treatment too every once in a while and that consistency is most important. Love the newsletter. I look forward to it each Sunday!
Aloha Kimberly! The best thing I did was have work done on my teeth! I unfortunately have had gum and bone disease which caused a lot of problems with my beautiful smile. Thousands of dollars later I am happy with the results! 🥰🌈🦋🌺🌺🌺
Oh, Kimberly! You look so good in that pink color. Also, you have changed your look so much. Want a mentor you are! Thank you so much. Can you share the shade of your lipstick and the maker?
When I started researching skin care products, I became overwhelmed. Then, I watched your video about the basic ABC. It was just what I needed! Thank you.
I enjoyed this video so much. Thank you! On my lazy evenings(more frequent than I care to admit), I clean my face with my microfiber Norwex face cloth and add a good amount of high grade organic rose hip seed oil. My favorite moisturizer. I mix it with a few drops of frankincense and lavender. I love the scent and the dry oil works so well on my 67 year old face (as of yesterday I’m 67🙈). 😬 Looking good Sista!!💪🏼☺️💕🌺
Happy Birthday! I keep Micellar water stocked for my lazy night, usually at least 1x/wk (and any night eye makeup). And then water moisturizer is handy. My skin is pretty sensitive and I think of it as giving my skin a “strategic” night off my retinoid or glycolic acid, 😂
Great tips, Kimberly! You might want to consider putting some emergency skincare products in your PM skincare routine for those nights when you are just too whipped to do your regular routine. I use micellar water to remove makeup on those nights, then spray my face with Avene water and give it a second wipe. That way I don't have to get up out of my chair and can still do PM skincare. Glad you are busy. Makes the days move along at a nice pace!
Thank you so much for all the tip! The early evening routine is my fave and I will definitely be doing that I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that solution because I rarely do my pm routine because I just want to go to bed! Thank you🙏🏽
Moisturize, Don't smoke, drink water, Retin A at night and a GOOD sunscreen for the daytime, don't forget the backs of your hands! Retin-A really i... such a great all around product.
Thank you for this Video but I have a question: Could you let me know what your hair color is and do they use bleach and color? How do they achieve your color. I would like to have your color since I am 1/4 to 1/2 silver gray along with my dark ash blond hair now. Please let me know. Thank you and I love watching your videos. Happy Sunday🥰🌻
Such a nice video, Kimberley! I'm in my 30s and in some other corner of the world, but I love watching your videos, besides the useful information I appreciate your calming and joyful presence so much ❤! This video was what I needed to hear because I had lots of troubles these past 3 years that have brought health issues and depression, so I have become obsessed with my skin and appearance, and sometimes if I miss one of my many, many steps I feel so bad... But we have to remember this is a long game and if we keep consistent most of the time it's okay, even if sometimes we might miss here and there.
I have been paring down my products. I used too many before. I'm now focussing on things I know make a difference plus I'm looking at only buying products with less rubbishy chemical ingredients. Often at night now I'll just use a retinoid product and then organic rosehip oil and a more natural moisturiser. Still adjusting the day products. I'm also over the amount of plastic used in bottles and tubes. ❤
you are right to take pictures. I had dark circles under my eyes since I was a teenager. I swore that they would never go away. Well after about 18 months of using a top notch eye cream (after washing and serum) I suddenly noticed that they were gone. I really have no idea how long it took. I was in my mid fifties. 10 years later, my under eye area is less dark than at 16
Many good tips!!! I cannot go to bed without cleaning my face and doing my skincare. I try to always make sure I do it before I watch TV or read, etc. I’ve never had the best skin so I think that has made me very particular about that!
Kimberly, I have been watching you for a couple of years now and appreciate your no nonsense approach to skincare and makeup. Keep 'em coming! Would you please share with me your lipliner and lipstick from this video? Thank you! Edie
I have started with the Lions Mane Tincture recently. I did try it straight and remembered you saying it didn’t taste good. I have added it to my electrolyte drink after I had drank most of it. Works great!!!
I can't believe I've never thought of using sweatbands on my wrists! That feeling of dripping water on my arms makes me crazy! I'm in starting tonight! Thanks! Great video.
Greetings Kimberly! This is kind of off subject, but have you considered a boss event with LMNT? I good discount on their boxes would be so helpful! Thanks! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
You are an inspiration because your skin is beautiful! Just wanted to mention damp skin. It is great except for Tretenoin...skin has to be dry for this retinol treatment or it will cause a reaction. Thank you for the tips!
I do some of those tips, also an early bed/early rise person and some nights, I just about slop on my night time moisterizer (next to bed) and lip oil. Most days I do more, but waking up with dry skin is not pretty. ; ) You are very right about that.
These are all great tips. I want to add something to your comment about night time routine. I too am usually too exhausted at bedtime, so I do my full evening routine while cooking dinner. If I do go out in the evening, I use makeup remover wipes when I get home. They are super quick and then you don't have makeup blocking the moisturizer that you can quickly put on. They take about the same amount of time as brushing your teeth.
Good morning Kimberly! My name is Jane and I’m one of your subscribers. I’m going to use what I have and work on being consistent twice a day. I’m only consistent with being inconsistent ha ha. I work from home now and don’t wear makeup daily, although I would like to start. I’ve started a video to track my consistency so we shall see. I will keep you posted. Thanks for your sweet inspiring and motivating videos!
Thank you Kimberly! Bucket idea is great. Brighten, tighten and nourish. I've been using The ordinary and Iunik for several months now because of your recommendation! 😊 It was fun to meet you at the Brownwood Farmers Mkt Saturday.
Like the skin care tips. I hot the Ordinary line. I was waiting for the sale to come but so far nothing. Are they doing anymore sales? I love their stuff. I stocked up on it when their sale was on.
I took a pair of barefoot dreams socks and cut them to make wristbands. I'm probably alone in this opinion but those socks did nothing for me but I repurposed them and they work very well for me now 😉
I agree. Study and research ingredients that target your goals. Then find experts on youbtube and take notes. I use morning Vit C followed by centella asiiatica because it's proven to quadruple the Vit C ability in collagen stimulation. Then I add red ginseng essence/toner Then a ginseng serum. Ginseng is anti aging PM I use tret combined with peptides I have essences toners and serums. Of course I have sunscreens moisturizers and oils depending on what my skin needs. I use mostly K beauty. Some indie small brands like Stratia and maelove And always a chemical K sunscreen because the UVA filters are the best
Good tips....thank you! However, I think the phrase "anti aging" is deceptive. We all age....there is no ANTI. We just need to accept this fact and age with health, dignity and grace. You look healthy and happy....thanks for all the great advice and positive inspiration! I am 63 almost 64 and I enjoy watching and listening to you.
I have number stickers on the lid of my skincare bottles, so I don't even have to think in the morning... my brain doesn't kick in until at least three hours after I wake up. :p
While she hasn’t said that she uses sunless tanners, I can guarantee you that her golden glow is all from the Florida sun. Everyone that I know that lives in Florida, looks this golden 😉
