It's good to see some praise for Falskaar for once. Having played it a couple times, I was quite satisfied with it. Too many people outright dislike it and don't appreciate it for what it is.
Only OGs appreciate Falskaar, it was released so long ago and back then there was not many mods like it. People today are spoiled with higher quality mods, which is not bad but still gotta show some love to the OG mods :D
I thought the forgotten city the first time I played it was just superb, now a sperate game outside of Skyrim in it's own right. Not especially long and once you know how the mechanic works, has maybe limited replay ability, but it's a fantastic quest mod.
Sheesh, Skyrim really isn't going to be a dead game because of creation club and modders. More than a decade has passed since its release and still brings more contents to explore
Except they keep patching it every (insert inconvenient amount of time) and breaking mods. As things go on less and less people update their mods and more and more lists get broken.
@@davidrosensin7985 well thats Bethesda's problem and not the modders'. Modders don't bother updating their mods if they don't get donations for their time and effort to do so of course. Unless they do it for fun.
@@williamgregoriopalpal3238 I wasn't saying it wasn't Bethesda's problem. Just saying that at the end of the day it more seems like Bugthesda's doing it intentionally...
@@davidrosensin7985 of course they are, because they want to purchase those mods and put them at their micro transactions section, don't know what they call it nowadays because as you said they updated it so its no longer creation club. Them always trying to milk from their decade old game is actually themselves killing their own game, guess its time for modders and players to move onto other games.
Moonpath to Elswyer, if you haven't mentioned it in another video, is one of the very best quest mods. Also, Agents of Righteous Might was also very fun!
@@tekdaystar345 Oh yea me too I enjoyed it tho a few hiccups as with any mod sometimes I wish the audio you can change it lol it’s super loud when Rigmor gets mad
I in all honesty stopped after being tasked to do something to help fortify(?) a homestead in Riften where Rigmor’s mother, Angi, and the girl (Sorella?) were held up. The mod was pretty cool and I like how it sent you all over Skyrim, but some parts of its writing was very hit or miss (sometimes even cringeworthy) some quests got stuck (twice on one quest, once on another) Rigmor got a bit to be a bit too annoying for me at times and one of my bigger issues with it is its extreme incompatibility, I had to sacrifice multiple other mods for it to avoid crashing and in the end I decided it wasn’t worth it and removed it and started a new save. While I would be willing to try it at least once more time I wouldn’t do it on a heavy load order like the one I currently have.

The best is the legacy of the dragonborn so many quests to do tons of new armours weapons rings amulets paintings new locations characters all voiced plus add on for finding fossils everything can be displayed in a museum which also gives you a player home and a faction of your own to lead it’s better dlc size mod than most of the dlcs Bethesda released
@@peekaboo2711 I know....I got stuck and I looked up somz tips online but I was reading about some plaques and some strange name and I'm like wtf is the greek plaque..and greek? In Skyim?...it took me a while to realize that the mod was adapted into a separate game lol

Enderal is an entirely different game by the way, feel like it was implied that it is apart of skyrim. It has an entirely different world, universe, story, you name it. Just an FYI.
Chanterelle deserves some mention. This is a really huge area of mostly wildness and only two small villages, but abundant wildlife, natural resources and ruins to explore. You land in Chanterelle totally unequipped (your gear is left where you can pick it up later) and have to swim ashore from a wrecked ship, so you're just standing there naked on the beach. Stealth is a must, and running away is your best defense in the beginning. This is probably best undertaken at the very start of the game; you will then be able to continue in Skyrim with the advantage of much experience and many items from Chanterelle.
Im new to modding. Only played vanilla back in 11-11-11. So far since I started modding recently in '23, I have seen wyrmstooth, moon & star and forgotten city. Love the idea of being able to have 100s of different versions of the same game. Its never the same. This must be the best offline game of all time! GOAT!
This is indeed an AI, but we trained the voice module ourselves, it's actually our friend's voice. It was a clever way to get around the fact that we don't have proper equipment to record clean sound. We wanted to offer the best quality to our viewers and the AI provides studio quality clean sound with no apparent issues! We'll switch to real sound when we'll have the means. Hope you understand!
This style of video would become so much more enjoyable with the use of a real human, or at least if not a human, something that sounds like a lot closer facsimille.
I can't to Dwemer mods. I can accept dragons, undead, giants and magic. I can not accept that some society in these times built better robots then we can in 2023. If they had such advanced technology, 1) How could anything stand against them and 2) How did some knowledge not leak out? You arent going to have a society that can make freaking robots right next to one that uses swords and bows, it just doesn't make sense.
Brother. 7 months later I just want to say you're the first person in all my years of playing to say it. I agree 100%, it's so silly and absolutely immersion shattering to do these dwarf quests. Even a lot of the vanilla stuff is too much for me.
They were dwarves and in Norse mythology they were creating weapons for god's and stuff like that dwarves are often made to seem like an advanced civilization with tech we don't have
Falskaar is overated, just an average time killer. Maids 2 is awesome mod, Shire too. Rigmor of Bruma is can be annoying, but the second mods rigmor of Cyrodiil is very good. Beyond reach is not my favorite mod but, it's the best new land and content mod by far

@@PixelParty4u I do understand, though listening to an AI is a bit fatiguing and not very pleasant. I'm glad I was still able to recognise an AI voice when I heard one. 😆
"If you're searching for a quest mod that will leave you satisfied and wanting more..." Uhh, I think those two things are mutually exclusive. Are you satisfied or do you want more? Can't be both.
I don't know what version of Wyrmstooth I have, but it's bugged af. The quest giver guy wasn't essential and the mercenaries kept killing him when he got in the way, so at some point I just got tired of reloading and dropped the whole thing.
First skyrim mod video I've really liked! The bigger channels have missed the mark here, they pump out new mod videos too often. So 9 out of 10 of the mods are just boring. I like the look of every mod you've uploaded here, you've clearly made an effort with this video. Thank you.
Unfortunately it's the best we can do at the moment, we are a small team and currently unable to get the proper equipment to record quality studio sound, we are doing our best tho and we'll get our sound on the channel as soon as possible!
I've never one hundred percent completed the vanilla game and now I'm buying a better PC so I can get a bunch of mods Maybe one day I will get all the dragon priest masks

@@PixelParty4u I think it's head and shoulders better than any of them. but I can't see the popularity of The Forgotten City. OK! it's unique time travel questline is a good 'novelty' but in general, it's boring and claustrophobic. How it won the accolade of the best Skyrim mod of all time is beyond me. I had to start a new game in order to play 'Saints and Seducers Extended Cuts' after a long, frustrating time trying to get it to work. I saw all the hype about how fantastic it was, but it was rubbish and a waste of time me fretting and especially having to start a new game and the time to attain level 20 again. I've played Glenmoril and that is a mixed bag of first third being repetitive, the second third being ok with some novel quests. but the third, third is very good with a unique city, landscapes full of towns and ruins. and an area of jungle/forest full of giant trees. I tried Clockwork...Nah! nothing in it really. The Grey Cowl is very good. Especially where the puzzles and the architectural 'maze' is concerned. Wymstooth is a mod that's OK but not good enough to want to play it again. Same goes for Falskaar.
Brother, if you like this game and you never played it with mods you're missing out!! Definitely give them a go, we'll be uploading more videos about them so stay tuned!
I already have one character doing the Wyrmstooth scenario and another on the Bruma DLC. Getting to Bruma was a nightmare as I couldn't get past the gate from Skyrim due to a dragon Attack happening. This dragon, an Ancient of the First Era, just would not land so I could apply a slapping from my Ebony Sword. Did, however, find the cave system which led there though.
I have 2200 hours in skyrim, been playing it since release. Once a year I redo my modlist and start playing for like a month straight. Somehow I had never done Falskaar and checked it out this year and I'm really enjoying it.
No worries! There will be even better mods in the parts to come, we're making this into a series as fitting all the good ones in one video is impossible:D
One Mod I really like is the Wheel of Time Mod that puts the Wheel of Time books in Skyrim. The best part is you get a free follower that doesn't count as an in game follower. Aviendha, the Spear Maiden will follow you everywhere, even into the Soul Cairn and other places where your normal followers will not or cannot go. And when you visit one of your homes, she will get naked (I have the Nude Female Mod) and say she likes it there and feels comfortable. Just don't talk to her about being naked or she will put clothes on and you cannot get her naked. She is also a love interest if you treat her right and will engage in the "Fade to Black" sex with your character.
@@PixelParty4u One thing I forgot to add. Ysolda. Aviendha has a thing for her and in conversation with Ysolda you get the idea that the two have been...intimate. Plus Aviendha keeps trying to hook up my player with Ysolda and marry her. Another interesting mod is "Sofia". It adds another "free" follower and she is a trip. Some of the things she says makes me almost fall on the floor laughing. Plus Sofia is a good Battlemage. Just don't give her booze, she likes to drink...a lot. And weird things happen. The "My Home is Your Home" Mod lets you make your houses/Manors/Hall the home base for your followers to go back to when you dismiss them. My LakeView Manor has 6 of my female followers living there (Including Serana). Makes it a lot easier when you don't have to go hunting for an ex-follower.
Played it and didn't like the character. Her comments become quite repetitive at some point you get bored of her. Any way I'm not going to lose half of my Skyrim quests just to get the heart of a doll.
Voiced yes but produced? You ever tried it? Or you just talking? It seem like you're just talking without any background knowledge lol 😅. Plus we are very transparent about voicing our videos with Ai, it provides much leaner sound that we're not able to produce ourselves yet.
Even tho its not a quest mod i highly reccomend enderal its free if u want something new it has some of the best writing and characters ive seen in a game
People who criticise voice acting in mods like not a little bit really rip into the voice actors clearly don't realise most people doing it are just random people online, not actual voice actors with amazing mics. Any quest mods I take with a pinch of salt, gameplay can be great and story can be good, voice acting can be great but always remember it's the community not experts. No matter how bad a voice may be you have to give props to those who tried while you didn't. I'd do voice acting for a quest mod if I had a character or chance to, it's something fun to do.
Thanks, there are many good wuest mods, we are making part 2 of the series, it should be out in 2 weeks, we have some good videos scheduled before it!! Stay tuned!
No idea, none of us here at the studio ever tried to mod the game on consoles, would be very cool if they start adding big mods like enderal over there
I highly recommend Enderal, for those who haven't played it.. completely changed my perspective on modding and the storyline is probably as good if not better then the original skyrim storyline.

One underrated mod is Death Consumes all, its really good storyline with 1 follower that is impacted by your decisions. I personally dont like undeath even when i played as necromancer. Idea is good, but also becomes a little boring after a first part.
@@PixelParty4u Good stuff. I only mentioned Lotd because it is by far my favorite of all time and have my current mod list practically built round/for it. P.s. I believe the mod author of said mod is working on a replacement.
I like the quest mods I've had in my load order since the beginning. Wyrmstooth being one, obviously. But Midwood Isle's also amazing, considering it adds a new Elven race that could be made canon to Elder Scolls lore, and their dealings with Daedric & Aedric rule never seen before. Plus the actual land of Midwood Isle is well made. Really takes inspiration from Falskaar & builds upon the fairly vanilla environment in small ways. Clockwork & The Forgotten City are classics. Just like the Wheels Of Lull, it brings alot of new Dwemer lore that intertwines with their own unique stories. The Forgotten City is the big standout, considering it became a standalone game independent of Skyrim after all these years. That's dedication to a mod author's craft. 🙂👏 And the Gray Cowl Of Nocturnal, way more fun than the Creation Club version. Takes you everywhere, from Coldharbour, to Hammerfell, and even get to meet a familiar playable character from Oblivion that shouldn't be there, but I guess he/she can be all of the place now. XD All while searching for the Gray Cowl. It's a great adventure. Love all these mods. And I love your list of amazing quest mods. Can't wait to see what you put in part 2. You should check out Midwood Isle, it's awesome. 😃
@@PixelParty4u Thanks for the compliment! 😀 Yeah, my favorite kind of mods for Skyrim are always more expansion sized mods that add new flavor to the game, & I love how many creators have put lots of effort & creativity into all of them. 🙂
Gray cowl of nocturnal is probably the most underrated quest mod imo. Some people just see it as oblivion fan service but i never played oblivion and still think its the best quest mod
@@apputaiparambil I'm pretty sure we are talking about two different things, there is a mod on the nexus that imo is far superior to the creation club addon
