You forgot about the planet in Torment of Tantalus. It had a human accessible version of the library of knowledge. You would think once they perfected the hyperdrive on the Prometheus they would have went back to see if there was anything left.
It's great to see more love for Stargate. Despite it's early success, a few years ago it looked like the Stargate franchise was going to fade into history and be forgotten. Except for a few die hard fans. However it's slowly beginning to reexamined and new fans are coming around. Here's hoping foe more SG content
@@the-outsider That's good news, but I don't think it's likely. MGM is all but bankrupt right now, they haven't the money to set up a TV series. They're desperate to hold on to the licence because the broadcast and download sales fees are the only things bringing any money in. If they commissioned a writer, or a team of writers, to present a show then yes it's possible but spec script? They aren't interested.
Atlantis was supposed to return to the Pegasus galaxy on the first episode of season 6. SGU was never canceled, MGM went bankruptcy so there was no one at MGM to renew for a third season. This was told by Brad Wright
I was so sad when they cancelled SGU, I really liked the darker tone and premise of that show. I hope Eli is okay... 10 years alone on that ship is a long time :/
Are the crew going to float frozen in space forever with a mummified corpse of Eli Wallace lying around? Did the Berserker drones follow them to the next galaxy?
I can't really articulate why, but it really annoyed me that the show runners chose to have the lost city of Atlantis land in the pacific ocean rather than the Atlantic ocean at the end of the series.
Could've had the city power up to float out to sea. Maybe send it to the ocean garbage patches to use it's technology to clean them up. Or scare away Pirates and also whaling ships like the Star Trek 4 Klingon BoP did.
One of my favorite unanswered questions. In the episode 100 Days, although ambiguous, it is implied by the last scene of Laira, that she is pregnant, which would make it Jack's child. What became of said child, did Jack know about it?
my mrs was asking me to put up this exact question till i noticed you already had, its a mind *$ck isnt it! she had just literally watched that episode on dvd she is mad for everything *gate
@@gordonhide4539 I love the episode, except for the ending. I hate the implications so much that I wonder why the hell they made it. To me, it is almost as if the writer of this episode just wanted to piss us off. Actually, now that I think about it, it is not just the child. They wrote this incredibly strong, intelligent, kind caring, and loving woman had her fall in love and then crushed her. So she loses a loved one for the second time. I want to know, who writes something like that. The world can't be all rainbows and bunnies, but this show was exceptionally cruel.
jack defiantly knew, a few episodes later he asks to retire early off world and to go live with her, this is just a cover that he uses to get into a gang of people stealing alien tech
Great list! One Point that bothered me the most while watching SGA was: Why did they never even attempt to build their own ZPMs? They had the whole freaking knowledge and even the whole city Atlantis to their expanse after all!
Rodney kinda did, resulting in the arrival of an extra Rodney from the dimension that they were siphoning energy from. A ZPM is an encapsulated pocket of Space-Time from which energy is drawn until it reaches Entrophy. Given the Ancient's...detachment...from other races and lifeforms, the odds of those Space-Time pockets being uninhabited are not zero, and as such, that wouldn't be an option that Atlantis Command not the SGC would be willing to utilize.
@Fugp Basis No, what Rodney was working on *WAS* a ZPM...albeit a crude and open one. The ZPM is simply a vacuum bottle of compressed Dimensional Space-Time...essentially exactly what Rodney was doing, but portable.
@@digitalis2977 Rodney specifically said it would make ZPM look like alkaline batteries. It wasnt ZPM ZPM creates artificial space-time that is 100% uninhabited. Rodney tried to sap energy from other realities hoping he would not hit one inhabited. The difference in size was exactly why it was better than reworking ZPM. It would sap into an endless dimension, unlike ZPMs small artificial one.
They barely had covered half the things that were in the city, and Ancient database was gargantuan with bad interface filter settings. Searching ZPM manufacture would probably result in hundreds of pages of text all in ancient and heavilly technical only to ultimately find that they needed special industry that was not on atlantis. Other explanation is that in fear of Wraith ever finding a way to access the database Ancients never put such information on ZPM in there.
I actually had a chance to sit down and talk to the actors that played McKay and Zelinka and asked them exactly this. Even posited a way to create one. They agreed that it could work, but their response as to why they never managed to build/find more: "It would take away too much of the drama of the show". Which I kinda agree with.
The producer, I think it was, did a wrap up for Stargate Atlantis during an interview. Apparently, they had to find a way to get Atlantis back to the Pegasus galaxy because it was going to self destruct. Along the way Tayla and John get together. They had it all written for a movie but then it got canceled.
McKay did not invent the Wormhole Drive. It was an abandoned technology that Zelenka found in the database and implemented at Woolsey's approval. McKay was a galaxy away at the time.
@@blakumvanrollope7480 That was not the wormhole drive. That was a hyperspace generator for the puddle jumper, which they used later to get a ZPM from the replicators.
Also I'm not sure if it was abandoned technically. How did Atlantis get from the Milky Way to Pegasus if they didn't have hyperspace technology for the city
@@blankspace178 You never once mentioned the plague in your comment. As for what I'm on about I don't know how I could make it any clearer. The flying city of Atlantis was not built in Pegasus then flown to Milky Way and flown back to Pegasus. It was built on the planet Earth in the Milky Way galaxy and then flown to the Pegasus galaxy.
Nor are the atlantean SG team solely responsible for releasing the wraith on the Pegasus galaxy. They were responsible for releasing them early, but, they would have returned regardless.
The Jackal O'Neill clone storyline was always a good future continuation of the series especially if you added Telak son and the smart science girl who was in the military that got school by Major Carter and throat doctor Frazier's adopted daughter for Good measure
Cassie, Jennifer, Ry'ac, and John. Yeah I could see them doing something like that, adding Daniel Jackson in the same sort of role that General Hammond filled in the original story, and you've got yourself a solid premise, now all you need is a big bad.
The biggest problem with that is that the kid who plays Ry'ac is a terrible actor. Super cringey in basically every scene he's in. The kid who played young jack killed it though.
Well, I'm all for continuity and stuff, but I would rather have a change of actors. In this case I'm thinking about the Cobra Kai case, because those are child actors, they're not so good..
It does, and anything is possible but I like to think that the clone, decides not to join the Stargate program and settles down with a family. I think that’s what the OG Jack would want .
@@Isiah61 Wasn't there a thing about he wouldn't be allowed to join either the military or the SGC? I seem recall reading or hearing that somewhere. Maybe I dreamed it.
Stargate Universe took a while to get going, but it did eventually get good... so naturally it was cancelled. The show's just long enough to get you invested in it, then it ends on a cliffhanger that is never resolved. They could have at least given it a proper ending.
@@paulrasmussen8953 For you perhaps. I really enjoyed it. A series doesn't have to be for everyone. As long as it says true to SG lore I'm fine with multiple styles existing in parallel.
@@Yggdrasil42 it does if it is a Stargate series that replaced an established series. They should not have ended Atlantis so abruptly to bring in Universe. And obviously you were in the minority or Universe would have continued.
@@DVankeuren Actually a lot of people liked universe at the end. And at the end it actually was heading in a great direction. The problem is it was simply too late already. Universe's darker tone was great. I think what kinda killed it was too much Drama on one hand and a few decisions regarding on how the story was told at the beginning. The potential on the other hand was huge. And that's what we have seen especially in the second half of season two.
11: Colonel O'Neill and Tealc once travelled back in time to the 80s and forgot who they were. O'Neill became a teacher and Tealc a high school student. It was never resolved how they returned to the present

I miss Stargate sooo much. We need another sequel series set in present time. Can you imagine how much has changed in that world since the days of SG-1? It could deal with the SG-program becoming public knowledge
While I'm worried about it being make in the woke age the fact it has Wright on board is a good sign. My hope is this leads onto more SGA and SGU as it is odd to be making a 4th show with 2 still hanging. I wonder if it will only be 10 seasons though
Both of you saying you didn't like it would be why they cancelled it. I was fine with the change of direction and continuation with the story. But too many are confused by change I guess and bounced off it.
@@8-bitlogan895 yes I wish Atlantis haddnt be canceled as well I feel more ok with that though cause it had a bit more of a definitive ending was left open to be continued but at least it didn’t end on a cliffhanger like universe did if I was given the choice to bring either back it would definitely be Atlantis though
We did get an answer to 6. When the last episode came out, and we still didn't meet them, we found out the answer was "never". Never is when we are going to meet the furlings.
Richard Woolsey mentions at the end of Atlantis that the surrounding water traffic was suspended while they were sitting on the coast of San Francisco. It isn't a permanent explanation, but holds up if they were staying there just to get back up and running. Also they came up with a cure for the Wraith that got rid of their need to syphon the life energy of other species. It did have some flaws at first but those were later fixed and the cure was given to the Wraith named Todd to be passed on to his people.
There's a follow up on SGU in comics - a one-shot. It doesn't resolve the story, but advances the plot a bit. Also, how big were the waves created by the water displacement involved in Atlantis's touchdown? I've always wondered that.
same here, end of season 3 now and my grown/growing sons can look at the screen for 3 seconds and know what is going on since they have had to watch it once a year since ending, it is kinda funny
you forgot one story line about one of the most important races.... The Vanir (the splintered Asgard group that went in Pegasus) what happened to them after everything... there must be a lot more than 3 small ship worth of them
@@Cdre_Satori the ones whose planet blew up were the Asgard we saw in SG1... those of Atlantis say their planet as a toxic atmosphere which is why they wanted to activate the Attero device... so they could continue their research and leave that planet to avoid dying off like the others... they might have chosen the wrong way to do things but they were not offered any other choices either (Atlantis is so big they could have offered them a place in the city for them to do their things for exemple)
SGU took the Stargate story in a fantastic direction! I loved the storyline, crying shame it’s off the air. Would love to see the 5 season arc Brad had in store for this! Agree with all points in this vid ! We want more stargate!!
Lots of these can be answered when reading the books and comics, eg yes Atlantis goes back to Pegasus, Eli accidentally wakes up some ancients on Destiny etc. But a stand alone feature to tie up Universe would be so much better than a comic
A young Jack O'Neill might be interesting to explore in the possible new Stargate series they are trying to develop at the moment. If they can find an actor who looks like a young Richard Dean Anderson he could be a character in it. Even if he was an exact clone created by Loki his life style of explain a certain amount of changes in his physically appearance by the time of the new series. He would also change as a character.
What lifestyle would change exact twins; that drastically. And is anyone going to mention the 50 year old man hitting on high school girls? He might look young, but his mind ain’t.
@@jamesbizs Different diet and exercise. A different haircut could also help distract from the differences. In real life even identical twins have some differences. That's why I said someone who looks similar. It helps that he would be younger than Jack was in the first episode. Yes, him hitting on high school girls is a bit creepy, but he was created in 2003, so if the show starts up again he would be well into adult hood, so they would be past that point.
Maybe get Lucus Till (New MacGyver actor). That's what Einstein might have thought to as "spooky action at a distance" if he was alive today. Quantum entangled actors.
SGUs "dark tone" was the least of its problems (read: it wasn't one), sadly the writers only seemed to figure this out at the very end of the show, much like what happened with Star Trek: Enterprise (thought that held out a lot longer).
I loved SG-1, and the movie- I was never a big fan of Atlantis, or the other spin offs. I had never even heard of an animated series based on it. I had seen the movie several times, but was introduced to SG-1 by my older brother. When I had my first spinal surgery and was stuck in a recliner or my bed, he brought me the first couple of seasons on DVD, and he told me that if I enjoyed them, he had several more seasons for me to watch. I was tired of watching daytime TV and everything I had on DVD (and VHS- I still had a ton of those at the time), so I gave SG-1 a try. By the 3rd or 4th episode, I was hooked- I even got my (now ex-) wife to watch them too, and she enjoyed them as much as I did. So, my brother, being the absolute legend that he is, didn’t just lend me more DVDs, but bought me every season available at that time, and more as they were released. It was not something that I had ever planned on watching, as I didn’t think that it could hold a candle to the movie, but I’m so glad that my brother was the one to get me watching. I always trust his taste in music, movies, and stuff, because he knows what I would probably like. And he was certainly right about SG-1- it was an awesome show, and has become one of my favorite sci-fi universes, right below Star Wars. Sorry about the lengthy comment- I really enjoyed your video, and it brought back a lot of great memories for me. Thanks for posting this-
A lot of these points got covered in the books that are out there, including the furlongs briefly. Atalanta covered in depth and a few of the SG1 missions between the series including t’lec gotteee
There are a ton of advanced technology civilizations especially from the early seasons that are never revisited. Some galaxy wide calamaties such as Anubis, replicators and ori may have wiped some out but It would be really interesting to see them.
Great list! Since April 2020 I've watched all of SG1, SGA and SGU with my kids and they love it! There are tons of things that needs answering! Like the outcome of all the technology they got from the Asgard, the Pegasus Asgardians, Elizabeth Weir lost in space, basically everything about SGU, Cameron Mitchell without Sam and T'Leac, the woman Jack got pregnant! man theres so much! Please dial the gate and give us more!
Weir was resolved.....she came back as a replicator, came up with the idea of letting the surviving replicators build themselves human bodies with nanotech. But one of them didnt want it tried to escape then ruined it for the rest. After that Weir tricked the remaining into going through a space gate. Done they are all frozen vegetables now....though knowing it was wier afterall im suprised they never went back and just picked her up n left the rest. Imagine a replicator on their side the possibilities would be endless.
Each one of these got an "oh, yeah, what about that?" from me. Now I want to go watch all 70 gajillion episodes again. Luckily, I still have my boxed sets of the first 2 series. And it wasn't the dark tone of "Universe" that drove people away (at least among my fellow SG fans.) It was that they couldn't balance the "problem of the week" and "super-arc" shows. Though I haven't seen it since it first aired, and I haven't seen the last 3 episodes at all. Should I try that series again?
Oh, it was the change of tone for many fans. So many people watched SG1 „because it is secretly a comedy show.“ Those people for sure weren‘t watching Universe. Others had problems with it emulating BSG. And new viewers, which the producers hoped for by making it like BSG? Nope, they didn‘t care, because it‘s just a Stargate show, too goofy for their taste. So they never gave it a chance. The whole series never had a chance.
@@jensdroessler3575 well, the show drove me off because i was pleased of the BSG darker side, but the goofiness came back, notably when Eli was lost with some on a planet and the ship moved up. I though that was it, characters dead, it is serious. But no, "we went gate to gate into other galaxy lol". WHY DO YOU EVEN NEED A SHIP IF YOU CAN DO THAT YOU GOOFY GOOFERS !
@Nicole Castanon Yeah, well, Universe doesn't lead anywhere, and Origins is just sooo crappy and not in line with SG1, SGA and SGU... so... no real need to watch for both in hindsight.
@@romainandrieux5948 Well, yeah, that could happen, too, of course, since they obviously went back a little in the SG1 style direction for season 2. But the ship thing, well, the ship PLANTS stargates (which are not connected to the known networks) on previously unknown planets to make a path to the "final" secret of the universe the ship is en route to. So the ship is pretty important, but it doesn't need a crew.
I remember thinking the SGA finale felt so rushed back when it aired. In contrast, I had thought the SGU finale wasn't going fast enough. Mind you, I was like 13 at the time, but somehow I was convinced they were going to bring in a bunch of elements from SGA and SG1 into some huge finale. The moment the ship began to drift off into space away from us, a slow realization began to dawn on me that not only was this the last time we'd see SGU, but really *felt* that it was the last time we'd see Stargate Still guts me on rewatches. (As someone who hyped up SGO on my channel & even included a snippet of it in my tribute video, I don't even count SGO anymore)
You forgot about the time Jack was stuck on another world after a meteor shower buried the gate. He was starting to leave his life there. She wanted baby with him and he obliged. Thanks for doing this video. You saw things I missed.
Yes there's alot of plot holes, they went through alot of changes in the 10-15year run time of the combined shows; but its still one of the best SyFy shows to date.
Whatever happened to Joe the barber? Atlantis, as mentioned in the last episode, is under naval blockade. No ships will crash into it. However taking off again may attract unwanted attention. The writers came up with three options for Eli, he dies unable to fix another cryotube. He fixes the cryotube and wakes with the rest of the crew or he accends/saved by another race.
Not only were a few of these actually answered (we were able to piece together were the ZPMs were Janis left behind and the question of the Tolan was answered in an interview and what happened to the destiny after everyone went to sleep was answered in the follow up comic) ...but you left out the biggest ones. What happened to the Asgard in Pegasus? Who are the other advanced races in Pegasus Weir mentioned? What happened to Todd? Did Jack retire so he can be with Carter when she came back (watch the deleted scene from the Episode "trio")? Are you ever going to flesh out the Nakai? There would be one system lord left now that Ba'al is gone....that would be Klorel. Where they able to defeat him and extract him from Narim? Can you use the wormhole drive to rescue Destiny? When did Ronan get the ability to talk to fish and become the king of Atlantis? These all need to be answered
Damn, I miss SGU. While I've got it all on DVD and BluRay (the original film, SG-1 (show and films), SGA, and SGU), it'd be nice to have a new show or a continuation. Origins was... okay. The niftiest part of it being that the actor who played Michael in SGA returned to play the professor in SGO.
if they do make another sg series, I hope they will show what happend to the destiny and atlantis, even if its just from mission reports or flashbacks from characters from those shows
I agree. There are definitely some dangling threads in all three of the live action series that probably deserve some attention. In particular, the Tollans and the Furlings could use an episode or two to take care of those 'threads'
Seeing as the person who made this video didn't do any proper research, we actually DO a proper ending to Stargate Atlantis. It comes in a book series, 8 books, that follows the series finale. It wraps up the entire Wraith part, and brings peace to the Andromeda galaxy. Did he mentioned that? Nope. Would definitely recommend reading them, as I myself have read the series at least 3 times. The first book is called "Stargate Atlantis: Homecoming" and can be found on Amazon, for example, for the Kindle.
They wanted to bring back the actor who played young Jack O'Neill but the producers said he wasn't available. This is often a euphemism for "asked for more money."
I loved the darker, more primitive tone of Stargate Universe. In many ways, how is it no different than Atlantis? The Pegasus team stepped thru the stargate into an entire new galaxy with no guarantee of ever returning back home. Eventually, they overcame this and found a way back. With the gift of Asgard technology, it's entirely possible for SG:1 to find a way for travel both ways. The Ancients designed the Destiny with the full intention of returning to it. Surely they had a way for Destiny to dial back to the Milky Way. If the Destiny was fully restored to its fullest potential, plus the Asgard tech upgrades, it's entirely plausible.
Junior O'neill answer-helped out a rogue group trying to get some crystal thing, while O'neill Prime and carter had a run in with Michael of 1969, now an older man, who are trying to find Cassandra and some frozen Ancient......eventually, the ancient lady gives cassie her bracelet (same one elder cassie wore in 1969)-forgot the rest of the story.....but its a good one. #1-Atlantis returns? yes, they do, clone beckett and Shepard take turns on the atlantis chair while heading to Pegasus galaxy......they do not land on their original planet, but more of an icy planet with an old ancient outpost. they also take on three Wraith hives, along with an ancient ship found in Genii territory-renamed "pride of the Genii" thus taking out queen Death.....that novel series took forever to finish.
Junior later is captured in the Middle East where he was helping people as a one-man private mercenary using the Zat Teal'c gave him after the adventure you just typed about. Junior was not part of a unit or a military. His captors(Talaban-like group) posted a video online showing a now 25 Junior Jack giving the Name Jack O'nell, Primes rank and serial number. Luckily the SGC buried the video and erased it from the net. SGC, and Carter who commands the U.S.S. George Hammond rescue Junior. Now John Sheppard is in trouble as he accidentally encountered one of those ancient database hand things on a wraith planet and was dying. He would die unless a marker(only found in O'nell's mind) was used with a piece of tech to save him. Prime now in command of Stargate Command was too important and the IOC would not let him go and he is too old for a rescue opp on a enemy Wraith planet. He has bad knees. So Junior is at the SGC where the IOC want to turn him into a lab rat. Junior agrees to do the mission if Prime can get him off earth. So Junior saves John but the SGA team destroys the ancient database in a huge C4 explosion. They all live, Junior forgives Teal'c, Daniel, Jack, and Sam, and says goodbye. Junior goes to live on a Pegasus Galaxy Planet where he meets a women and they fall in love. Sam, Teal'c, the SGA team, and Jack report Junior dead so.the IOC wont try to find him. Junior finally found peace it seems, a place to be his own man. The Legacy series is 9 books and 6 novelas. yea long but lots of fun too. The last book so far is about the Geni finishing repairs on a Acient Warship they renamed "Pride of the Geni" but the real ships name is "Avenger." It's smaller then the Ancient ships Atlantis and SGC have but it's a real warship attack class.
@@mcclintick it was awhile back when I read the Junior O Neill book as well as the Legacy series....9 books? I could've sworn i read only 6, which ended with Dr Weir coming back, same with LT Ford.....presently reading DS9 Millennium part 2; after doing some research, I think I did read them....it was a couple few years ago when i read it. maybe i was off by a few books (using an e-reader) because from what i'm researching via stargate, sounds like i already read the other books.
I really hope that a new show starts with a flashback to sometime around SGU, to show the governments of the world revealing the stargat program to the public because the couldn't find a long term way to hide Atlantis that close to a city. Then it cuts to modern day and we get a landscape with a fully public stargate program, private companies trying to get starship, and all sorts of new complications and directions to explore.
I heard, they where gunna try and finish Atlantis off by incorporating it into SGU and somehow the wormhole drive would be used to try and rescue the crew of the destiny.
Atlantis would be a awesome hub. For new show but something tells me they might send it back to look over pegasus galaxy. It would be alot to take in for new audiences. If they get a 20 episode series, expect a slower build up.
What about the what happened to the ori army after the war? Their Ori gods are gone, the priors have learned the truth about them and presumably stopped all hostilities but what happenned to all of the armies and ships? Did they go back to their own galaxy? Did they become allies to the SGC? Or did they start another war on their own And what happened to all the people in our galaxy that converted to their religion Also did the Jaffa government ever stabilize into a democratic government Lastly, did the SGC ever take down the Lucien Alliance
Stargate SG1 is one of the best series ever and the franchise is still iconic. They don't make any programmes as good as Stargate anymore but does anyone have that much creativity now?
The truth is that the SGC was responsible for the Goa'uld discovering Earth, the Wraith waking back up and countless other dangers wrought upon multiple galaxies. I hate to say it but Kinsey was right! The SGC was pretty reckless lol 😂😂.
They put the wraith on the ropes by destroying their cloning facility and safety of their food, ended the goaoulds reign, wiped out the replicators, while advancing earth tech base i say he was wrong.
Plot Hole 11: While on Atlantis, did anyone ever look up how to do the next best technologies to our own? There has to be at least one tutorial video made by an teenage Atlantean on how to do fusion reactors.
The difference in technology and understanding of the universe is probably so vast it would be as if you tried to teach people from year 0 how to build a computer from scratch.
Heliopolis, is one that seems like it should come back up, astronomical it is close to earth, not known by any hostile races, has a powerful computer that has super important” meaning of life stuff” has a building that seems to have lasted like a million years. And was chosen by the alliance of races for a reason. Why did we never go there for a beta sight or research location, off world SGC, recover the gate, fix the place up, thrown some paint on the walls and you have a ready made base.
Interesting choice on the Furling shot. The showrunners have publicly stated they couldn't really do much with the Furling plotline because of exactly the reason you show... the name implies them to be furry things like Ewoks or something, so a serious story was not possible. Thankfully with the self-satirizing episode 200 they did have the opportunity to do something and did so. It was established that the experience of being a Goa'uld host is so traumatizing, former hosts can't consciously remember the experience. So Sarah would not be able to help the SGC much without technologies meant to dig through her mind, and as we see with Vala later in the series, these can cause damage such as total memory loss. So I don't think it's as much of a hanging plot thread. I think the 5 ZPM thing was designed to make the whole thing "worth it" and in this case it provides a possible tie-in to future episodes. The writers probably decided not to pursue them because having more ZPMs gives the heroes more ways to get out of trouble and you want to limit their options to keep things interesting. Atlantis was supposed to have a sixth season (and then it became a TV movie which never materialized) where Atlantis was forced to return to the Pegasus galaxy. This would resolve two of the questions in this video. After that was scrapped there was also a plan for a TV movie where cast from all three TV shows worked together to save the Destiny crew to tie up that loose end, but that also never happened sadly. SGU was originally supposed to run for five seasons with a complete story arc planned in advance,, but upon cancellation they had to cobble together some sort of ending. We got Eli coming of age, in a way, taking on the responsibility and danger of fixing a broken stasis chamber before he runs out of life support. Originally this was planned to be Rush, with of course the resolution opening Season 3. My unresolved plotline that wasn't mentioned here is, how did Earth defend itself after the events at the end of Atlantis? When SG1 sets up Atlantis, we find the Ancient outpost on Earth which is then used to defend Earth against Anubis. This outpost then serves as an effective deterrent to direct assault. But at the end of Atlantis, the Wraith destroy the control chair which is the only known way to control the Ancient drone weapons. Atlantis clearly is made to stick around Earth to replace it, but Atlantis was planned to leave Earth, so what happens then? And "Jaffa, Kree!"? Really? How about "Shal'tok nem'ron"? (or however you spell it). Also I think last I heard one of the producers was trying to get something going. Latest update was 5 chevrons encoded on that effort.
Tauri Kree! Shel kek nem ron! If the goauld are real and invade these are the only words of goauld you need to learn, bc the Tauri do not go down without a fight and we will not be made to kneel to false gods. Go ahead and nuke us from orbit, you’re not taking our planet you melodramatic snakeheads!
There is. 8 books that literally follows the season finale, at most a few weeks afterwards. It's clear that he didn't do enough research about this, or just doesn't count the books as part of the SG universe. And if you wanna read them, the first one is called "Stargate Atlantis: Homecoming". Would definitely recommend them, have read all eight of them at least 3 times.
@@joakim482 I don’t believe the book are “cannon” however until something better comes along I would class them. They are a good read, I enjoyed them a lot. There is also a comic series but it’s way over prices for such little content but the story behind would also make a good season.
@@joakim482 He didnt, he got other things wrong in the video as well. By the end of Atlantis it is stated that the navy had declared the area where Atlantis was cloaked a Quarantine zone, so there is no way a boat would just stumble on them.
Kaylee falling in love with a doctor is very fitting, also strawberries in first class, nice. SGA was my second firefly, and all was good in the world.
Totally Agree with this assessment, Atlantis on Earth should be the starting platform of any new SG Show acting as the new SGC, addressing the SGU conundrum being a close second, then going forward from there, although a slightly grittier tone with occasional humour would be ideal.
I'm just as tired about hearing people bitching about things being "woke" as I am the woke advocates themselves. It's sadly ironic that the most loudmouthed extremists on both sides resemble eachother far more than they do the majority of those on their own side.
@@seanbrazell6147 yeah. God forbid people complain about all the things being changed in the name of woke. We should just shut up and let it happen. After all, if we don’t say anything, they’ll be like “you know what? No one is complaining about wholeness. That must mean we should stop doing this”.
Stargate, along with many other shows, have an assumption that not everything happens in front of the camera. Calling Daniel's uncle to see if he's doing ok would be one of those. For the wraith, as I recall, they were having a civil war of their own, which was rapidly diminishing their numbers. Not extinction level, but close enough where they'd be an annoyance, rather than killing all humanoid life in the galaxy.
With the state of Hollywood right now. I would be ok if they left this on the shelves for another 10ish years. Would rather have the memory of what it was and how great it was and not a movement of out of touch people in Hollywood thinking they know what's best for us.
I say bring it back under the same people who did it before. They were Vancouver, not Hollywood. I don't think Canada's studio industry is the SJW mess we've got in the States.
