​@@farrah5334 it isn't diluted. It's just that we don't use enough SPF as it is, and a normal amount of foundation we would use is nowhere near the amount of SPF we need for full sun protection. So it's best to use SPF separately.

@@jenni4809 Because the amount you would use in makeup application is not nearly enough SPF coverage. The general rule of thumb on the amount you should apply is the amount you can squeeze onto 2 or 3 of your fingers. If you put that much foundation on, it will look cakey, so people apply way less than they need. You should use SPF separately and then wait 10-20 minutes to let it dry and settle evenly on your skin before you apply your makeup.
