So happy that you’re spreading the word about GCAL. When I first got my stone, I’ve only really ever heard of GIA so when my local jeweler introduced a GCAL certified stone, I had no idea that other companies can certify a stone and some of them are actually more thorough. I’m glad I went in with an open mind and glad my local jeweler was knowledgeable about these things. I wish more people would know about GCAL.

We have done a few where we touch on it but we'll definitely make an update soon where we explain preference. The reality between methods is each has its process but what a lot of people don't know is that it goes through an extensive process to get it to look amazing. That's why curation is super important.

Hi @ByBonnieJewelry, I own an 8x GCAL myself for my A.Jaffe engagement ring, and truly, I must say, is such a beautiful thing. We never knew about 8X until viewing your videos and research, so thank you. Personally, we were struggling with making the decision of getting a Lab Grown vs. Natural, but it was very disappointing once we found out that only 1% of GIA Excellent diamonds would receive their new 8X cut grade. That was an eye-opener. Furthermore, among the rush of constant demand for Lab Diamonds, only less than 15% get an 8x grade. Can you make a future video that can easily explain these facts? It took a lot of research to do.

Hi there! Thank you for your support and subscribing to my channel! Sure, I can help. GIA is the world's most renowned gem laboratory and the pioneer behind the diamond grading system. They are essentially the "grandfather" of gem grading. GCAL, based in New York, was founded 22 years ago with a mission to deliver the utmost accuracy and consistency with uncompromising integrity. As a jeweler, I always prioritize finding the best diamond for my clients, and GCAL's grading is among the most consistent I've encountered as a gemologist. I recently had the exclusive opportunity to tour GCAL in New York, I must say, witnessing their precise grading standards firsthand was mind blowing! Hi dear! It's definitely possible for someone to fake a certificate, and try to sell lab as naturals. There has been an arrest made recently in Oregon for a case like that. It's extremely important to do your due diligence and work with someone that's honest. That's why building a relationship with a trusted jeweler is very important when it comes to your shopping experience. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching.
