"If you die what outfit do you want to appear in for the rest of your life" This is why you dress up to go to just Walmart. Eternal drip is at stake people
I totally agree with you when you say invest in quality...I feel that so many people tend to buy low-quality clothes just because it's cheap and affordable, but those types of clothes only last about a season or at most a year..and not to mention, higher quality clothing oftentimes doesn't even come at that much of a higher price!
Dude same!! 22 turning 23 on the 30th and man I totally agree especially watching Tim and Marcel these last few months have honestly made me love fashion and I want to upgrade my wardrobe
I'm reaching the end of my 20s, and in the last 10 years, my clothes have only evolved like... twice... So little time has been spent building my wardrobe.
same here. i only started caring about my fashion style after graduating secondary school (about 18 years old). now 4 years later, i feel like i finally have an idea of what my fashion style is, and i'm just glad i have a job now so that i can afford my fashion style.
Hey Tim, would you please make a video about self confidence. I am dealing with this problem for a long time. I don't have no respect to myself and you are good at this kind of things, i mean you're an optimistic person. I am currently following your ''5 simple daily habits'' routine and actually i am feeling much better. I would be glad if you consider this video topic.
I love how you have added clips from your previous videos to actually make ur tips more visual. Oh And Sprezzatura. That is all of the tip combined. THANKS FOR THESE TIPS TIM.
Bro you're one of the most genuine fashion influencers for me. Your advice is often so point. I've followed you for quite some time and I'm happy to be growing with you. :')
My signature for pants are 100% dress slacks. For top I really go 50/50 on either a turtleneck or a tucked in shirt. During cold weather I layer it with a cardigan that I almost exclusively keep closed. Always loved the business casual look since I was a teen. 26 y/o now this august. As always your fashion looks amazing.
My style is that I tuck in everything. It started in HS where I would tuck in my shirt in my shorts for wrestling. I became so accustomed to it where I started tucking in everything, even basic tees. I believe, esp w the right pairs of shoes and ironed pants, it elevates my look. I also roll up my short sleeves!
I'm so glad i've fucked up in buying clothes in my teenage years coz It made me start exploring what really is my style. Mine has always been inspired with menswear (and still is now) and so in the past since I hate the clothes i've bought, I'll get clothes from my father and brother's closet so it'll always be oversized (up till now tho, I still love oversized shirts) and I would just wear sweatshorts it's so comfy. It's a plus that we always have hand-me-downs so I would get something out of it and try what suits me and what doesn't. Just you know, having fun and trying different ways to wear the same clothes. So now that I'm 20, I already know what to buy and what I want and would wear for a long time. But I don't really shop from malls now (for shoes I still prefer buying from trusted brands). I just thrift and I must say I'm very much satisfied with what I get coz I get some unique pieces that I could dress down or wear in formal events.
I'm now 36 and recently started to build again my wardrobe..I was always into a rocker kind of style in my 20s, now I'm changing it into someone a bit refined..rugged with a waistcoat and a neck tie 😄
Watching this made me realise, (even though I've heard this many times from you and others), it's jewellery, esp a pendant like as in 6:42 It's simple yet it elevates the look. Till now never considered this option other than a watch. Maybe now I'll check these out in future.
Wish I had this video like earlier this year lol but honestly just glad it’s looking like I’m doing the right things watching you all, except the spending, I want more Thursday boots 😭😭I only have one and it’s not enough!!!!!!! I’m 22 turning 23 and this just solidified what I needed thanks Tim!!!
so many tips here Tim, thanks for inspiring me to level up my style and wardrobe!! love the tip about writing down and describing your personal style, I included influences there too of certain people Im inspired by how they dress
My signature look is a plain oversized tee of whatever colour (my personal favourite being the purple/lilac Oversized Airisum U Tee from Uniqlo) paired with either a simple gold/silver chain and index finger ring with light blue or grey/black jeans and sneakers 😁 the accessories make the fit!!
It’s funny you mention the ghost outfit 😂 I always think to myself what if today turns into a full on action movie and I’m doing some epic shit today, this is what I’d have on.... 😁 Like when a movie is normal and then everything goes wrong and the character wears that for the rest of the movie.
half asian here. Haven't tried that one but when you live in southern Arizona, you don't get a lot of scarf time. Mostly button upshirts with unbuttoned top buttons and rolled up sleeves for me
My signature look, from bottom to top is: Black & white checker old skool vans Off white chinos Horizontal striped long sleeve tee, in off white and dark blue thin stripes Denim jacket Off white beanie
Lol my ghost outfit would probably be what I’m wearing today: an oversized white tee tucked into a midi skirt and white sneakers, silver jewelry and white cat eye sunglasses, oh and a red crossbody bag.
I was always against trends. i think trends just come and go and there is no point to follow them. But what you said about incorporating the elements and still making the outfit authentic really inspired me! Gonna start doing that from now on ;>
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏 You don't need to have only one style of clothing you like to have a 'personal style' though. Your personal style can be composed of a variety of different styles 🙂
So many RU-vidrs sound so loud, like shouting, have annoying music, and what not. The best thing about Tim's videos is they are so minimal, and he sounds like he is talking to us like a normal guy. Love this channel.
This video has saved me man. I’ve been rocking the Zuckerberg/Jobs outfit for the past four years. I’ve been wanting to go all out on developing my style, your advice is going to set the course!
before i seen this video one of your tips ive applied to my fashion list..well it is really helpful!! ive been trying everything mix and match on my outfit and really goes well!! i experimented everything on my outfit! thank you!
Great insights, number 10 was definitely the most valuable to me. Sometimes throwing an outfit together on the fly is the best thing to walk out the door with. My ghost outfit would include my patterned chunky-knit cardigan. It's cozy and I think would make me a less intimidating ghost. Scaring people constantly sounds exhausting.
Some fresh shoes, put together jewelry - cannot forget the ring and oversized watch. But I’m always wearing a dress more than likely. I think I’m more of a sexy sophisticated look that can be playful sometimes because I like to add color. I don’t usually go for the super revealing style, I like to be modest/mysterious. Sometimes I wish I was into the super revealing stuff, even my mom gets on my case, she says I’m young and now is the time to wear that stuff but it doesn’t really interest me lol booty shorts and all that stuff. Anyway, I usually wear blacks and reds- gold jewelry. That’s my color signature. But lately I’ve been wanting to branch out, I’m really digging the camel brown color and I want something in that color, maybe even leather for some texture.
we're the same age!!!! thats sick haha, dope to find out that out, im just a fan. happy early birthday! 93s! watched almost all your videos, great content, big fan
Just this year alone I got me a good quality leather jacket, Nike ACG heavy goat, Nike ACG Black Gore Tex jacket, Nike ACG grange and grey Gore Tex, Jordan Gore Tex jacket. And I picked up 7 sneakers and 7 nudie jeans and 2 jean jacket. I'm sticking to techwear and that bike style.
