If you work hard to stay in shape and not have a dad bod, then rock that muscle shirt all you want. Most of the people that will hate on you are insecure themselves. Wear what YOU feel good in, forget what others think. It's not worth your time.

Agree to an extent. A lot of older guys are fit nowadays but some are trying too hard to show it. Well fit clothing will still show the look and add class and set you apart from the boys.

The upper arms of most senior guys, even if they are strong or muscular, lose definition and the upper arms start to look just bulky and flabby. Just say no to tank tops or muscle shirts. Pink is a massively underrated color for menswear. Especially for darker skin.

If you have lighter skin tone wear a pink buttoned shirt, unbuttoned with a white crew neck tee under it. That will help break up the brightness of pink. Wear some darkish blue flat front chinos shorts with it as well. With some white sneakers with brown gumsoles, or some brown driver loafers. The trick with pink is to wear something that tones down the brightness of it. Its a great color. Goes with more things than most people think.

Rocking a muscle shirt isn’t bad, but like he said, if you aren’t in the shape you wear once in it can highlight areas you do not want attention drawn to.

Totally agree. As long as it's a well-fitting nice-looking muscle shirt, and you're not fat.... I'd stay away from wife-beaters/tank tops though....

Most things you stated I agree with. However i must say i like baggy clothes. Not extremely baggy but say some loose fit pants that is slighly wider than normal in the leg or a shirt that is maybe one size bigger than normal but it still has a athletic fit. I find those clothes more comfortable than others.

Flip flops are good for showers too; prevents slips and athlete's foot. I also wear them if I'm just going to hang out at a friend's place.

I definitely agree with not wearing slides or sandals in a casual setting. My rule of thumb is, I only wear slides around the house or on the beach! I always thought it was ridiculous to wear them unless in those situations! Keep up the good work bro 👍🏿

I live in Tucson, AZ, and I have worked in the Phoenix metro area. 100% natural fabrics are typically better in the heat. Tropical weight wool pants and cotton dress shirts aren't bad in the heat. Also, stay hydrated.

You gotta know how to do it for maximum effect! Don't make the whole thing crispy black, just tap the sides a lil bit. Keep the grey in the chin area. Cant nobody tell, it simply will always look like you're just starting to grow it. Mine will be salt and pepper forever lol.

My Dad & Uncles stayed knotted up! He taught me how to dress, and I've been suited & booted ever since. I Keep my shoes shined, pants creased, and hair faded! I'm in my 70s, but I still wear shorts below my knees, short sets, and walking short suits! I keep a brim (straw) on my head, and stay 'smell good' up. A REAL MAN stays clean! BTW, I wash my own car, cook, and keep my layout (apartment) clean! Good showgram!

When I'm at the pool and it's hot, that t-top is gonna be on 90% of the time. Sometimes, I will wear a button up short sleeve shirt over it since I don't feel comfortable eating in certain dining spots in a tank top unless it's outside at the pool or hot area, but NOT indoor dining. I've worked out for a long time and am currently a powerlifter, I think I can wear a t-top and not look like I'm trying to be fit 🤣

Hummm, this is good info to know. I thought older guys used muscle shirts, as undershirts to help keep themselves cool and to minimize sweat. Tiege Hanley is a good product. I personally have seen the results💯❤

I put away the jeans from May 1st to October 1st (depending on where I'm living geographically) I have work clothes but when I'm off during that period of time during the calendar year, it's no jeans for me (mainly because I wear boots with jeans and not sneakers/sandals/flip flops)

Our temps run 120⁰f. Loose heavy denim jeans. Boots. Loose long sleeve shirt. Wide brimmed hat. Wrap around safety sunglasses. Oh, own/live/work a horse ranch. Not being stylish in an office in a city.

When he talks about alternatives to jeans I would also recommend certain joggers. The BYLT Everyday 2.0 pants are stylish casual option, and my favorites (especially if you’re in shape). The Cuts AO joggers are a bit more casual than the BYLT pants, but still a stylish, comfortable option

Like the video but l really think people should just wear what they are comfortable in... people live in different places and have different cultures.. we tend to worry too much about what others are doing instead of just worrying about ourselves. Be an individual, do you... life is short, it shouldn't be that serious. Tribes that live in the Amazon or parts of Africa don't even wear much clothing, if any at all😂.

I disagree. When it's hot outside there is nothing wrong with with wearing a muscle shirt or tank top it is appropriate for the weather. Especially if you have the body to pull it off. I think it's just personal preference.

No....fortunately, everyone is allowed. Pink flip flops, orange housecoat. Just don't wear shorts and sandals to court. The sign "No shirt, no shoes, no service" was developed for me and my high school friends. Black socks Teva sandals with long pants for dinner is acceptable along the coast of California. Black socks brown leather shoes short pants white skin they're from the U.K.

Well I work sometimes in a court room where a suit is pretty much the only thing you should wear. Same goes for job interviews for pretty much any of the better jobs out there. Dressing matters a whole lot in my life. I would be worried if it never did.

Great video. Thanks very much. One thing I noticed in recent years is that some brands of men’s short-sleeve shirts are too wide around the waist. They are not form fitting at all. More line pear shaped. You need to find the right brand for your body type.

I agree with all your suggestions, however I won't wear the shirt you're wearing in this video. Too tight and not the color I would usually wear as an older man.
