Check to see if it sticks to a magnet. Also, weigh it so you know if it has a weight of 3.11 grams. This will confirm that it is copper. Afterwards, get it graded from either by PCGS or NGC.

This was great, I've been looking for "are gold coins a good investment" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Wonenry Sonucas Approach - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.

If it is a copper 1943 there's only one know the man found it as a child in 1947 and kept it his whole life.he knew it was special.he died in September and it was sold for a million dollars

Thanks for watching! Rare coins are called rare because they are rare lol. So there is really no way to know the chance of finding one. It's all luck. The good thing is you can find error coins that are worth $30 or $50 in rolls if you search a lot of coins. I've found errors coins on my live streams as well as silver coins, proof coins, etc.

My grandfather was a Coin collector, he passed his collection to me a few years ago. I never was interested in coin collecting while growing up. When I received my Grandfathers collection, oh my goodness...I became so into it! I'm 57 and have been a "beginner" collector for 2 years now. I have memories of coming across really cool and sometimes strange looking coins while growing up and WOW, I wished I would have known to save those coins! Who knows what I've let slip through my hands in my 57 years! I'm learning so much from you, your channel, website and videos. A "copper" 1944 penny is not a valuable coin, it's the "steel" 1944 that is worth thousands. Do to a copper shortage during ww2, the us mint made steel one cent coins one year only 1943. In 1944 they went back to copper. Somehow there was a little steel left in the die and a few 1944 steel penny's were made. There is only a handful known to exist. They are extremely rare.
