U realise it is burnt face it’s from the Greek word a ethopia which literally has da same sound letters n referred to that area on Greek maps not the horn bc that was Somalis..n it was agreed upon liek that as well becasuse it was historically the name of the area where ethopia is although the Ogaden n Djibouti were acc part of Somalia on their maps which makes sense ... also ethopis in the hebrew and Aramaic Aramaic which Jesus spoke ancient Egyptian what Moses spoke did not sound liek that at all n ethopis still comes from the Greek translation so ur still using an European name 😭😭

The definition of Ethiopia is not burnt face. The actual meaning is deep. There was a king called Ethel( ኢትኤል). It was a name that was given from god. The name Ethel meaning is given,gifted,chosen, or god given gift. And there a phrase at the end (YOP) making it Ethiopia and YOP is like gold has its own color, which is yellow. The meaning of YOP is shine and this YOP is very rare to find. So Ethel and YOP all together make Ethiopia. There is many many stories to it. We defeated Italians the first time they came in a 24 hour fight, and it is called "the battle of Adwa" You should Google about it! They occupied us for 5 years the second time they came after 35 years or so.. for revenge of their first defeat..Because they came for revenge..They had been training for all those years and they were well armed and prepared.. But still they had no formal government established in Ethiopia and the people were fighting through out the time.

Ethiopia is the second christians country in the world . And the region found at the eastern Ethiopia Harar is the fourth blessed city for muslims in the world have more than 90 mosques .
