Try this too: With your left-over dressing from Thanksgiving, add an egg (or 2, depending on how much you have) and form a palm-size patty - spread it out on your waffle maker. Close the lid for 4 or 5 minutes, peek at it to make sure it's crispy and serve. They're reeeeeelly good!!!

I'm just curious is how does bacon and an egg and toast all cook at the same time takes longer to cook bacon than it does in an egg or toast

Both the Cuisinart and the Hamilton Beach are great waffle makers but none of them Ken do what you see in this video as perfectly as they seem to come out. The jump cuts and Camera Wizardry tells me that these are food stylists and not real home Cooks

The first segment gives the trickery away. If you look at the egg, it is one size but when the person is putting together, the egg is now another size.

I got a new waffle iron with removable plates, I just got sick and tired of trying to clean the darn thing. Now I just remove the plates, clean it off with a brush and toss it into the dishwasher, what a nice change from spending such a long time cleaning it over the sink. Amazon sells a nice one.

Can I try that in my G.F. grill? I got one of those grills I used to make paninis in, plus one of those sandwich makers.

Removable plates are best. I have had unexpected messes due to spillage from batter too thin or too large a ladleful. Far easier to place the cooled plates in a sink filled with soapy water than trying to clean nooks and crannies with a toothbrush. Not to mention seepage into the appliance with no access to remove it.

The only thing I wouldn't bother with is a fried egg. I like mine nice and yolky. Not hard fried.

So here’s a thought, I purchased a dash mini waffle maker.. toll house cookie dough, used about 4 pieces of dough into the waffle maker.. 4 minutes later waffle cookie for one!
