I think because you are closer in age to me and many of the tiny house videos are done by quite young people, your videos seem so relevant to me. It's great to have found you!👍

I don’t use my dishwasher either other than to store bags, dish towels or dish mats. And even when my 3 boys lived with my husband and I I didn’t. Totally with you on that! 😊

Muito obrigado - again, a nice and informative video. As a 'tiny-house-video-watcher-veteran', your house feels totally 'house-ish'. No thought about RV at all, especially, since you've skirted it in and built the shed under the goose-neck, all in the same colour and material as the rest of the house. It looks very solid and 'grounded' from outside and is beautiful to look at!

@@myBIGtinyhouselife oh thank you for this kind word and response :) it is comforting :) I felt better in letting go and felt to create a confort with only what I needed, but all around made me feel to move now.. :) the flat is in a house where I do not feel more to belong.. all environnement changed .. as I am in a rent and the environnement around made me feel that it is time to move soon.. so feeling a bit unsettled by it, I look for inspiration and here I found you :) thanks to the purge, feeling only what I love around helped me to change work, still in process of learning for it, so before to move, I am grounding first the work base change. :) and then I feel I would love to move for a personal space with the stuff I kept :) in another place when found it then, :) I am not yet ready for moving, as feeling to ground my new work path first to feel more serene to move then :) step by step, sorry to express all, I feel you as a big sister so comforting for all of us :) your videos put me in a positive mood to keep courage in my new work project and so knowing that it will allow then the tiny house ;) not immediately but for now, trying it in a rent prepared me for it then, I think that I had to experiment it that way maybe.. life magic in his process ;) wishing you all the best :) I dream to learn Portuguese too, so I feel that was The channel I had to see today :) muita obrigada, da Francia :)

Great idea, but the price! I'll save $300 and air dry. I hang my shirts on hangers on an aluminum clothes rack. The hooks at the top ends are great for hanging jeans. And I use an old towel rack for underwear and socks. My apartment sized washing machine just fits in the bathroom beside the sink. No room for a dryer. The washer holds half a normal washer load. It's great for clothes, towels and bedding, except for quilts. They have to go into town for the laundromat. Jon in rural BC, Canada

That was a fun, positive list, except for the one about your possessions expanding. 😳 I know that would happen to me! I live in a pretty small space (693 sf) and I cannot believe how much cr*p I have crammed in here. I’m working on getting rid of it. The hardest part is getting rid of big items that are too heavy for me to move on my own, and I’m upstairs. It’s inspirational to watch videos like yours.

Hi Adelina: I don't think any RV could feel like a home. You had a hand the design of your house, and the RV is designed by someone else. Better yet, one of the main forces behind nomad life -- Bob Wells -- says an RV is not designed to be lived in full time. They break down and are hard to keep up. Your house has a better build. Also, I like what you say about thinking twice about buying something. I'm looking at something I had thought about buying for more than a year. I haven't used it in at least six months -- it wasn't worth it. Sometimes you pick a dud no matter how much you think about it. Of the 15 youtubers I subscribe to, you have the most consistently interesting content. You do great work. Cheers.

Thank you for your informative videos about your lovely tiny house. I will soon be needing to change my living situation and downsize. As I am a similar age to you, and you have so sensibly factored in accessibility considerations (for someone like myself who is mobility challenged and will definitely not be scampering up any ladders or crawling around the floor to make my bed 😂), I feel really reassured by seeing how well you’ve made your home work for you & Sophie both for now and going forward. Your charming home helps me see a downsize can be a complete victory (rather than something I was dreading a bit because I’ve seen a lot of soulless little boxes of apartments that made my heart sink a bit). I’m investigating doing things a totally different way now. And to hear that you feel so snug and safe in your home really warms my heart 😊 Thanks a bunch!

When you talked about hanging your cloths to dry, do you put your drying rack in the spare loft to dry?
@myBIGtinyhouselife
@myBIGtinyhouselife 3 года назад
No, I actually put the rack into the tub. I don’t want to mess with carrying the laundry up and down the ladder. But, it would be a good spot for it.

I’d most def walk by slow.. in a nonchalant way... trying to sneak a peek .. lol Question: I feel like you kinda have to sit sideways at the kitchen bar , why no overhang? (Not sure that’s what it’s called) your place is brilliant either way!

@@myBIGtinyhouselife My last two cats were mini-cats, but my new girls are huge. And they all launched out of the kitty litter box. I put an old Rubbermaid dish drainer mat at the entrance, but litter escapes anyway. :) My cats weren't happy moving into a small place, after having long runs, but they've adapted. And now I'm old, 69, I'm happy not to have stairs and have the bathroom close by. Jon in rural BC, Canada
