Your comment about asymmetric formations is very good. My main tactic uses a Trequartista tucked in on the right side instead of AMR. I set my AML to man mark the DR or WBR. I also set that Trequartista to man mark the DL or WBL. The Trequartista has often roamed away so I have a ball winning midfielder in support behind him to protect that flank. I find that using AML &/or AMR is a big defensive weakness so I try to use that man marking to prevent my sides being overwhelmed. Thanks for the other tips. I will try to incorporate some of them to improve my teams defending.

Great video!! I have a question. I regularly concede from crosses to the far post in open game. My full backs seems to can not mark enought the runs to the far post. How can I fix that?
Unfortunately I also concede many of those and the best I can suggest outside of "sign tall jumpy full backs" is to experiment with "stop crosses" (not too effective) and "trap inside" if you have congested the middle. With trap inside you will show them (when in transition) more opportunities to play through the middle and it will reduce crosses in general. If you have many DMs/CMs it is generally a good instruction as you force them into very crowded areas
