A lot of this will sound trite and cliche. A lot of this will be considered "old fashion" or "uncool" in the next few years, probably well into your 20's. Don't listen to these people. This is good advice and you will be thankful if you follow it through the tough times. It's easy to be a slacker and "not care" in your youth. It will catch up with you though. Take it from a person who had to learn the hard way.
