Your video couldn’t come soon enough. I’ll be making my first trip cross country to Disneyland for the very first time ever! Been to WDW many times…looking forward to finally visiting the OG park and DCA.
Thank you for this video!! We are so close to our trip. We leave next Saturday, the 5th!! I'm bummed about the railroad being closed, though 😢 Since I'm a previous cast member from WDW, I'm so excited to experience DL for the 1st time!!!
Loved this video! Would you consider one for Disney World? I'm a repeat Disneyland visitor but I have yet to go to Disney World as an adult (my last time was 1992).
As much as many of us don’t want to admit it, the number 1 thing a first timer to Disneyland needs to do is…. IGNORE all of us who love Disneyland!!! We all have tremendous emotional equity (nostalgia) built up in our hearts for truly outdated attractions (Jungle Cruise, Pirates). Just go on whatever looks fun to YOU.
@@GregKaiserMotivation Old doesn’t necessarily equate to outdated or not exciting. Some people do want to experience the history of Disneyland. I’d venture to say that a good half of first time visitors are WDW vets and know what a Disney ride is like. But they want to experience the Disneyland versions.
Hi travor!! Love your videos. I went to Disneyland a few weeks ago and we got the Garlic Cheesy Pretzel bread to dip in the Tomato Soup from Jolly Holiday. You must try!!! It was so good!
My husband didn’t believe it was so good and wasn’t interested in trying mine but he ended up eating my whole cheesy garlic pretzel bread. 😂 And that’s what he keeps talking about getting when we go back next year. Thanks for the tip! 😊
I have had the other marshmallow wands before. Not a fan. So I wasn't expecting to like that one, but the overpowering chocolate orange was a surprise.
We've been to WDW more times than I can count. Went last year. First time doing Disneyland in Nov on Sons reading week. This was very helpful. Thank you.
I agree with all the things. And for the first timers, take your time. Soak it all in. And make those memories. I want to go so bad in December. But I want an actual vacation not a 1 day again. If I had time I would be there. Christmas is my favorite time at Disneyland.
It's such a shame that everything is mobile dependent these days because some of my greatest memories are from the trips where you just showed up and went and didn't have your face stuck in a phone.
@@cherylmcfadden-ig5rg You can change reservations up until the day before you go. There’s really no “best days” to visit specific parks unless you plan to rope drop either Peter Pan or Guardians of the Galaxy. They are the only two rides greatly affected by early entry. Of course, After Hours events could affect your trip, but yes, you can just change your reservations if needed when those schedules become available.
Happy that I hit almost all of these thanks to your previous videos. Also tried the Tigger tail and wow, so very very dense and sweet but it was good/memorable!
@@SoCalDisneyDad it really was! I did do some research first and watched your videos but I didn’t have one bad thing in Disneyland. Everything I ate there was great!
Also PSA to Worlders who are visiting Disneyland for the first time: they don’t do the $2 popcorn bucket refills! So no need to waste space in your suitcase if you were counting on that
@@SoCalDisneyDad I live far away so I can only go to DL every couple of years so it’s part of my “Disney blues” that I can’t get one. I’ve tried a similar item at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory because people claim they are a close dupe. Not even close.
I didn't mention it in the video, but I will say that while it was still as good as ever, it's not quite as "refreshing" (not the right word) on a hot day since the soup is hot. Much better on a cold day.
If you eat at Disneyland everyday of your visit be prepared to return home bloated and with ten extra pounds FYI. Everything they sell there will be full of sodium.
