Lydia is like my complete idol. I think she is a beautiful spirit, she truly is a wonderful person from what I can see. I am at such an interchange in my life and she is actually helping me through it. Love you Lydia. xxx
Hi Lydia, the one thing I want to tell my younger self would Be patient and be a good person. About 2 years ago, I had a really terrible breakup and along with it, I lost all my friends&bestfriends. I could not get over it. To top that, I did not even have a family so that I can redeem myself and be sane. I couldn't take it. And that affected me and my health so bad. Like panic attacks, bad dreams, crying everyday, leaving education, overthinking, not eating food, getting reactions on my body because of it. It was worst. You know how it is when you don't have a family or anyone to support or take care of you and help you get through it. It was worst. So I did everything to get that person back. I cried, begged, black mailed him that I'll kill myself as I thought I couldn't live without him. And now I regret it. I mean, I still love that person alot even now after 2 years and he will always be the love of my life, but we don't talk anymore. I still want to wake up and be with him, but.
LOL I HAVE LITERALLY WATCHED SO MANY OF YOUR VIDEOS OVER THE PAST TWO DAYS! I AM IN LOVE you are a beautiful person inside and out. please come toToronto one day! i'd love to meet you or if i ever get the chance to travel to england id love to see you! love ya
Love this video!! I would tell my younger self so many things.. mainly 'it will be ok' - all those times spent worrying etc.. if only I could have seen into the future! xx
You just totally gave me the strength and the motivation to keep on going, to not give up, you're such an amazing person really, nowadays it's a rare thing..
I'm glad I found you. This is the most down to earth video I've seen. I usually don't believe videos like this but your heart is in it. Great job! As for something I'd tell my younger self. I would prob say don't worry yourself over things to come, like illnesses. I deal with fibro pain everyday, it's usually bad. But stressing over it and scaring myself plus over thinking just caused more problems. I did get a little depressed and blamed alot of things. I guess it's in my nature. I had many panic attacks when I was in high school when my young aunt passed away. I would also tell my young self to spend more time with family. I've lost so many and I really miss them loads. I wish I were more social with them but the love was always there. Just wish there were more time. When these pillars were knocked down my family kinda went their own way. We hardly see each other or even talk. I wish I had the relationship with my cousins, aunts, grandparents and uncles when I was young. We were strong back then. But were all getting older. Maybe the next generation will bring us all together again. Here's to better times!
Thank you for number 10! I hear people all the time saying "it's dog-eat-dog", "kill or be killed" - all that does is feed into the vicious cycle of predator mentality. We are all human! Being nice does not mean being weak, not in the slightest. It takes real strength and goodness to extend a hand or a smile, and be a positive force! :)
Hi Lydia, one of my regrets is spending so much money on a lot of skincare and makeup. I realize now that I don't need 3 expensive foundations, mascaras, concealers.. I only need 1 which is the By Terry light-expert click brush foundation, By Terry Touche Veloutee concealer and when my skin needs to be perfect but look real and not caked in makeup, the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage concealer. My designer mascara is Guerlain's newest mascara (black tube with a gold strip) OR I have recently discovered Max Factor Max mascara and this gives the Guerlain a run for its money! Shelley x
I've followed your blog right from the beginning and from day 1 you've seemed so down to earth! Such an inspirational person! Number 6 is also one that's really relevant to me right now and it's nice just to see that you're not alone in it. This video is definitely one of my favourites!
For so long I've been so embarrassed and angry about the fact that so much happened that led to me not starting university until last year when I turned 21 and still to this day I don't know what I want to do with my life. Hearing that someone else (and who is as successful as you) at 21 had no idea either and started university then as well just makes me feel better. My whole life I was led to believe that you should have everything figured out by the time you start your 20s ):
I’ve been watching your blogs for a while now I decided to go back and see your old ones this one have make my day I live in Texas so it’s mid day now I woke up feeling down but what you said a lift my spirit and I’m going for a walk with my dog now thank you ☺️
Omg I absolutely love you, I only found you last week on that post on Daily Mail! I was so excited when I found out you had a RU-vid channel 😆 Love your videos, your such a genuine, gorgeous person! 💖
Hello! :) Lydia I am Chloe and I'm from Australia. I just wanted to say how beautiful your words are and you have such a heart of gold! Watching every one of your videos and your instagram, blog I follow too! I enjoy being so inspired from how far you have come, as I am the sole owner of my small business YOGO Health and Fitness, sometime it can be tough. But especially this particular video was a delight to watch, again getting inspired from your "persistence to success" and never giving up attitude. I had a giggle about your eyebrows talk, which you are 100% true and I have actually just had mine tattooed on also three days ago, and feel so happy with how I look! And lastly I guess I just want to say thank you for your joyful and educating videos. You are an intelligent girl, and when I feel I have confidence in front of the camera, plus a quality camera, my excitement for sharing my passion for health and fitness, including my work, female clients, and lifestyle I shall share too! Thank you again lovely, looking forward on seeing more videos! Keep it up! Chloe Puszka xx
You'd think that these things are quite basic and 'duh', but it's really good to hear it from someone. I've come to some of these conclusions myself lately, but I'm sure this video is gonna help somebody. Great job! (and your hair looks totally amazing today!)
literally love this video you are so pretty and inspiring! been wanting to make a blog and youtube channel as soon as i leave secondary school! cannot wait to get into fashion and beauty properly and actually have the time and you deserve lots of subscribers xx
Would you consider doing a video on food prep or a brief food diary on what you have on a day to day basis? As I know you are into your health and fitness and would love some inspiration on meals ect :)
Loved this video Lydia, I'd tell myself 9 & 10 over and over again.. Can relate to so many, including the MULLET - the shame! I'd also tell myself that we're all equal and we're all in this together, X
Everything I would want to tell my younger self & my daughter. As a periodontist I quite enjoyed your Oral B toothbrush and oral care review but this one definitely is the moral of how I want to raise my daughter to be. I think this video deserves a permanent place in the RU-vid universe 👍💖
This is such an inspiring video!!!! So pleased I watched this, made me think so much about how to be a better person! Number 10 was 100% my fave! You're such an inspiring person Lydia! X
Hello Lydia, I am new to your channel. Style Domination mentioned you in a video. I am so glad she did. You have such great style, beauty and a warm personality.
Love the video Lydia! Number 8 is so much about me right now... I'm so curious about your blogging experience, how it got started and developed. Tell more about it, please xx
Loved your video xx One of the things I'd tell my younger self is just because someone says they love you doesn't mean they mean it (bad breakup with my first prober bf when I was 18) xxx
I love this videoo!! Are you still wearing the same lip combo in this video (spice+honey love) it looks a little different! Keep up the great videos girl :)
Stumbled across you yesterday and binge watching! I loveeee the end! Do you remember what year you worked there? I’m sure I remember you from working there x
Anyone who has been diagnosed with a panic disorder should have their thyroid checked regularly. I have a family member who had severe panic attacks for 10 years and was finally diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. She has not had an attack since being treated for it.
It's strange that I've seen this.. I have a severe panic disorder related to my manic depression, my father had is hyperactive thyroid taken out 10 yrs ago and my sister who is 39 was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer last Thursday. That's right, just last week, but they have checked mine and my thyroid is apparently fine in every way. Both my father and sister are the calmest most well collected people with no history of anxiety. I'm a complete mess compared to them! Hmm... So strange for me
I really really like your videos! You are so positive - and another thing i learned from your video is that everything works out at the end! You're simply wonderful. Have a nice day :-)
this is definately me:D all thoughts you described i also had. i think a lot of youngsters dont know what to do after finishing school. i was stupid in school, didnt aim high, was lazy and thought 'I know that I am intelligent, so I dont have to proof to anyone:D and now I have to live with my grades😅😐
SUCH a great video and such wise words!! I just found your channel and just subscribed! You seem like a beautiful person inside and out. Very motivational.

Hi Lydia! You have lovely videos and blog and I'm so inspired by you. I recently gave myself quite an awful haircut (similar to Miley Cyrus hair). In your video you mentioned that you gave yourself a mullet... how did you grow it out properly?? I'm going through so many awkward hair stages, haha! If you have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated! xxx
Your so amazing Lydia! I'm glad that your going to the gym even though your quite slim like me, it does make you feel good doesn't it :) Its so important to be healthy its great that your telling young girls this
I would tell myself to join NJROTC earlier. I regret so much for joining the program in my junior year because it was too late for me to become a chief or above :(
I'm in college now and still in my teens, however I would tell my teenage self to put down the phone in the weekends and study. Because that would give me a 90 and above in my tests than a 75 or less
