You've bought the wrong vehicle if you're a drift boy. That's not a sporty car but very relible. I own a 2011 like that and love that one. Premium fuel is NOT REQUIRED but RECOMMANDED , it means it runs in regular gas with no issues at all.
You just bought the wrong vehicle that suits your driving style. It could be boring to some who would more enjoy sportiness like Audi Q5, but the comfort, reliability, smoothness and low cost repairs make this vehicle very ideal to others.
A FWD version (weighs 200lb less than the AWD and with less driveline loss) running premium 93 fuel (increases power and fuel economy) will feel much quicker than yours.
Sound like a big complainer. They one of the best car you can buy. They are bullet proof. Will last for years without repairs. Is a luxury car not a racing car.😢
Get over the premium fuel nonsense unless you're trying to wring out every last bit of horsepower then 87 is fine. There will be NO damage, the engine will adjust long before any knock occurs. The last time I had a car that took premium and meant it was a 1986 model (required 92+ or it would knock and spit). The engine computers are much better than the stuff from 30 years ago and can handle regular fuel just fine, just a different branch in the computer code.
Yeah you are nitpicking a little on these I own 2009 and love it just like all of our Lexus vehicles we have owned it does everything very well only thing I have done to it is replace the oil cooler line before it bursts but other than that we just do basic maintenance and good to go after a 120K miles and like you I own a G35 and love it but Infinity is nothing compared to Lexus quality and I think mine has plenty of get up and go out of the 3.5 not G35 fast but not too shabby for a 4300 lb rig but you are right about the Mpg and storage capacity
I own a couple of RX450h. 180K miles no problems, Great reliable car. Great power. The two things I absolutely dislike about the 2010 are first they put the USB outlet in the most inaccessible place. I do not know what their engineers were thinking. You put the USB in the most accessible place not the most inaccessible place. In 2013 they corrected that. That means I am right. The second thing is its voice recognition GPS system. It does not understand anything and it is very hard to enter info manually. Basically its GPS is totally useless from 2010 to 2015. I do not know about the later models.
@@bolivarharrigan6027 I know 2015 voice recog. is also terrible. Also USB location is not something you don't know where it should go specially as an engineer. A kid would have have told you that was wrong!
He right about the power the car could use a little more , a dual exhaust .. I had es,gs bought my RX for the family and I'm trying to get more power out of it
I have a 2014 RX 350 AWD. I feel like it sits about two and a half inches too low. I'm thinking about installing 2 inch strut spacers and tires with more side wall. I don't care about cornering. I want more ground clearance and cushion over rough surfaces. I want it to be more like an SUV and less like a crossover.
I own a 2013 RX and got a pedal commander to improve the engine and transmission response but it increased the fuel consumption quite a bit. What I hate the most about my car is the suspension as it rides rough and bumpy. Dealership and private mechanic told me there's nothing wrong with it and that's how RX suvs are. 😅
